Forgot who asked...but i did some researching.

Our "hot guy" or Earthz...(such an odd name by the way), seems like he was in the Cupid Series. It was in the one with Alek and Peung...so if you watched it, it may have been that one?
I didn't ask but thanks for the info on our HOT GUY! Stalking time :naughty2::naughty2::naughty2::naughty2:

I personally think that most Thai names are funny. Like Oil, Pancake, Donut, Ice, Pepper, Boom, Bomb etc hahaha

Por Date didn't yell at her. He was just surprised and educated her that no other owner buy stuff for servants like what she did. He already knew she is not Karakade. He just doesn't know who she is exactly that reside in karakade's body. He said a few time that she is not from here (literally he meant she is from Meung Songkwae but he meant she is not Karakade for sure). What he told her is to tell her how rich/noble people in Ayuthya treat their servants.

I hate to nitpick but the whipping scene was sort of a letdown. It played out better in the book cause the mom never hated Kade like here. The mom was crying in her room afterwards. She didn't want to whip Kade but she knew Kade was sort of running wild and can't go around creating scandals everywhere.

Kade learned a lesson, but it was different from the one the mom had intended lol. She realized that she was being bratty by forcing the servants to do what she wanted and it was no different from how the boran people treated the servants. It was a reminder to herself that she is from the modern times and not to forget to treat them with respect.

Also they gave a reason the dad didn't step in was because he had given the mom all the authority over household matters a long time ago. He didn't want to undermine her.

I love A'Ning as the dad. His eyes are so warm when he looks at Kade. You can tell he truly adores her.
Lol that the con about reading the novel before watching the lakorn, you can't seem to be able to fully enjoy or appreciate the lakorn for what it is. I used to do that alot and it totally ruin the motion pictures for me, now I read after so that i can enjoy it more, unless the motion pictures just completely suck. However I get those who love to read though because I love to read as well. Plus it's frustrating waiting a week to know what will happen next.

Back in the slavery days, most owners don't think about their slaves/servers. Kade buying snacks to share with the slaves/servants are things that people of today would do.

Just curious, in the book, did Kade really beat up people and that's why she was whipped cause she caused a scene? How was she being bratty? Was it the same as her dragging the maids along to go to the chinese market secretly?
Yeah the setup is the same. It's her causing that scene, after causing the CPR scene, after causing the fight with Louis scene lol. Also this is after they all accepted that Kade/Date are engaged now so the mom is trying to prep Kade for her role as Date's wife.

It's really about perspective. In that time Kade would be considered super bratty. Women didn't have rights and you don't argue with elders period. Not to mention the "scandalous behavior." But trying telling a modern grown woman where she can and cannot go? That's unreasonable to us right? It's about Kade adjusting to living life in the boran. Before she viewed it as a big adventure and getting to experience history up close and personal. Now she has to think about what it means to actually live there and this might be her real life.

True. I need to just stop comparing it to the book cause the lakorn is great. But that whipping scene was one of the best scenes in the book so I can't help but be like why?? lol

For me I think this lakorn did the book justice. U know they add scene, touch here and there that the book doesn't have. I do wish they showed Khun Ying Jumpa cried in her room too but I also love to see the subtle change in her.

She is the type as "Bad mouth but good heart"...that's what Bella described this character on Today Show. Just be prepared that she will not change much even until the end. She will continue to scold Kade through out the lakorn at some points Kade did something not proper. But she is not a bad mother in law.

I agree with you though. You're not saying it's a bad thing. But it could've been better if they executed that scene better with more attention to the emotional aspect of both Jampa and Kade after that scene. I'm like that too! haha

I completely get you though believe me cus I'm notorious for doing that too. It drives my bf nuts!

That scene you guys talked about, that was a pretty relevant one to add.

Can't wait for the wedding and boat racing scenes tomorrow.
