[CH3] NuengDao Fah Diew (TV Scene) : James Jirayu / Taew Nataporn/Aum Atichart

Episode 1 Impression
Storyline: Hmm. Idk, I've got mixed feelings. I like the story, but I don't know if I like the pace they're going. It's kind of abrupt and fast, a bit confusing too. There are quite a few loop holes that I hope will be answered later on. My favorite aspect of the storyline is of course the eunich portion. It's refreshing to see many men act "gay" in ancient time. We've only seen modern tellings, so this addition adds more spice to the story.
Cast/Characters: I'm loving the casting choices for the supporting crew. I think they're all doing a good job. At least good enough for the premier. My favorites among the cast so far are Diew, Phet, Kik, Nott and the actors/actesses in Maeng Mao's family. As for characters, Maeng Mao is definitely on my favorite list, I even like her name! Haha. All the eunichs are my fav's too Haha. They are all portraying their characters very well, except our pra'ek. Idk if that's how he's suppose to portray that Ork Luang Something or not, but if it is bad idea because he definitely is not a eunich. If that's not how JJ was suppose to portray the Ork Luang then I'm afraid he needs more work. I also love that quick appearance of Diew's character. He seems to be a good guy. I loved it when that Eunich checked him out. Haha.
Overall: It is an ok premier.? I'll check out Ep2 tomorrow

EP 1:The plots is not that bad, but I feel storyline is a little fast and some part is a little confusing in the beginning. Interesting that Khan Thong (JJ) was a monk during when the Burmese invaded Siam and find out that his father was killed, he wants to get revenge. I really want to know how he become a monk and his relationship about his parents before the invasion started. It might hit with a flashback on upcoming eps. I hope it don’t jump around too much with flashback (It needed to make sense with the storyline)
The eunuch characters are very interesting, I do some research and I do learn few things through historical time about eunuch. Back to lakorn, 3 years later Khan Thong and his friend Nant (Phet) disguise as eunuch. I like Phet because his character his interesting I believe Nant act more as a eunuch than Khan Thong. Khan Thong, he like a serious (mature) person because the way how he talks and act that is normally not an eunuch would talk and act. I do wish the head eunuch teaches Khan Thong to act more like an eunuch before entering to the royal palace. He should be careful and not blow his cover, some people are very suspicious him already lol But I understand it either hard for him to act a certain way as an eunuch or he's not comfortable since he’s a man.
Mang Mao (Taew) Ahh she is very interesting person. I love how she thinks, act, stubborn, sassy, and strong women. My favorite part is when she is very straight forward of how she think of eunuch and kicking others lol There first interaction is cute, they already start little problem from each other
EP 2: Slow paced. I’m disappointed that James & Taew have less interaction. I hope the next ep shows more interaction. Now Khan Thong act as a eunuch now (a little), the way he approaches Aokya Wang (Diew) LOL Khan Thong probably do that just to scare him because Aokya Wang always have suspicious of him (thinking he’s a fake/spy) More characters are shown and some of them are not that interesting, but it was ok. I think it shows too much on Jao Jom (Natharika) on her plans and revenge issue.
Overall, all the actors and actresses did very well, especially the scene where JJ approaching Diaw a little (not bad) lol He still need to act more as an eunuch so he won't get any suspicious from others. Can’t wait to see next ep. (I’ll see how the storyline goes) Waiting to see King Taksin

I finally finished episode 2. I'm usually those type of people who get excited the minute the Opening comes on so I was externally screaming for a good few seconds, but then got disappointed the whole OST didn't come on and went to some dark music. It doesn't bother me too much but the OST is my favorite out of all three lol. Anywho back to the Drama. MY OH MY! I am quite in love yet intrigued by everything. @phatman I think the eunuchs are my favorite so far too! It gives such comedic relief to a historical drama. Granted this is a different style of comedy from BPS, I sure do like it as much. Maengmao is mischievous but I like how she's clever and not just a girl who likes to run loose for fun. She definitely saved herself when Kla and those dudes tried to get her. Also, it doesn't help me that in Rak Nakara her name was MangMeun I get so confused . As for James, he's not doing bad. I like watching James' work but have never really noticed his feminine look until now. When he was about to leave the temple to seek out the truth and was talking to the Buddha, I realized that he didn't really look manly in that outfit. Idk he just didn't sell it for me. Regardless, the chemistry between JT is there and I get butterflies seeing them together for 30 seconds. The subber says JT just gets sweeter as the story progresses so YAY!!! Phet is so amazing in here. Oh how I've missed seeing him on screen. I LOL'ed the whole time when Diew was going to check if they were Eunuchs. Phet's facial expressions each time were so on point. He's so good at being a eunuch and I love it. I think so far I love Phet, Diew, Kik, Mam, and MangMao's family members including the Pranang.
What I don't like is Nampeung's storyline I suppose. Her story is going by fast and it's so confusing and annoying. They are not executing this part of the story well. It takes me at least a few episodes to connect faces with names but this one just keeps popping up names everywhere which is throwing me off. Also, we don't even really know what it is that's going on with them but it's annoying to have to watch them do random plans and talk about A LOT of stuff when we don't even really know the significance of most characters. I bare through a lot of stuff when watching Dramas so I could probably get through this storyline but urghh it's so irksome. Jaojom's lil bro too! He seems like a good guy for a minute and the next he's a mean guy who is trying to help them. They are the annoying kind of rai's in the story

PS. I almost couldn't keep up with the time jumps in BPS but this one is just as tricky. Idk why James waited four years but since Idk Thai History well I'm just going with flow. Anyone who watched BPS, When that Burmese guy was telling First why the Burmese are better and talked about Phra Narai who is that again? My mind is drawing blank. Ok. I'm done here lol

@Xiongurl26 Lol, good point. Eunuchs are my favorite also. JJ did ok with acting, but his looks as in character does bother me too. I could write more details on him and some of the characters whether is good or bad, but I don’t want to make into long essay page lol. Yup! Phet expression is on point He really act as an eunuch even though he’s in disguise. That’s why I like him hehe. Can’t wait to see Aum and Got.

Oh yeah. I definitely had so many butterflies seeing them together. They’re interactions have been quite interesting. Can’t wait for them to decode that Kollabot.
On another note, that eyeline is definitely saving First Ekkapong’s mean look lol. He has such a sweet face and soft voice. I find it so cute when he’s acting angry. I haven’t seen him act in so long I almost forgot about him.
