He said he wanna put the mic there because no one is going to hold it for him.
Then he said,"And I'm wearing a white suit today."
Then he added,"Thank God the suit jacket is long."
:naughty2:
Didn't listen too carefully, but she also asked him "Kon arai?" (What person), I'm guessing meaning "what kind of person would do this?". And then I'm pretty sure she called him "kwai," which is buffalo :risas3:
There's a character called "koh kwai." It looks like this: ค

At the end, I think she said something like "This is Pope Thanawat. No need to go to him, he'll go himself"
Maybe???

I am SO CLOSE to being able to read that... I know all the Thai consonants now, just waiting to learn all the vowels so I can actually read.
Then I'll have learn more vocabulary so I can actually understand what I read. Smh
I've studied myself and that is okay. The problem is I don't know when to put the vowels. This is the most frusturating parts. Anyway, good luck!

Unfortunately, there are not many Thai novels translated to English. A few translated to Japanese and Vietnamese like Ku Gum.
I have found some free download, some we have to buy.

I never read them before both in Thai and in English, so I do not know whether they are good or not. Some are old novels, some used to be lakorns.

I have many novel books (about 100) written by Khun Ying Vinita Diteeyon. Her pen names are Wa Winitchaigoon and Geaw Gao. I’m disappointed none of her novels is translated to English. They are very good novels and very popular here. Each of the books is printed many times. Her Thai language is so excellent that I would like to suggest every person who learns the Thai language to read them. Many were brought to create Lakorns but I seldom watch Lakorns from her novels. I used to watch some and found reading the book is the best, much better than lakorns except Boup Pe Sunniwwaat:)
Thank you @Amata. I’ll take a closer look at them to see if anything appeals to me. I appreacite the work you put into finding these novels for us to read. :icon12:
I’ve contemplated learning Thai, but I guess I’ll have to make it happen once I’m settled down into a new place.

You guys!! Off subject, but HELLO from Thailand! :)

After 24 hrs of traveling, I made it :aaaaa: and I'm ready to call it a night! (After catching up with the thread, of course lol)
Lucky girl, have fun and don’t forget to share your experience with us. Safe travels.:icon12:
