By episode 3 I stopped looking at this as a remake. I watched it as it's own lakorn and it's not too bad. Matt at some scenes doesn't look a day older than Nadech. And Yoghurt is so freaking annoying in here. When she comes on she always look ready to scream and I FF her scenes. Most of the side characters I don't particularly care for. Matt's outfits continued to be bad but whatever...her disco outfit made an appearance and it's still as ugly as the day I first saw it.

I actually find it interesting that you’re bringing up Sunny’s age as a con, because if anything I feel like it would have worked in their favour. Like others have said copying the Korean version so closely honestly doesn’t translate as well especially since their skills aren’t better. If anything making small changes and having someone whose handsome AND skilled (but not necessarily younger looking) would make it an easier watch and would have helped give it a slight twist.
Also not be rude but Nadech and youthful do not belong in the same sentence. To me he looks the same age as Matt, in fact if you said that him and Sunny (I don’t know how old either of them are but I am assuming from the comments made that Sunny is older than Nadech and Matt) are the same age I’d believe it. To me Nadech looks the same age or older than Matt depending on his styling, specifically his hair.

That M guy (Musa?, Mufa?), as he had something done to his face? It looks a bit wonky. I also agree that Matt’s wardrobe is disappointing. It’s not even that her styling is average, but it’s actually bad. I would prefer regular lakorn rich girl styling over what she has now

I haven't watched the OG in a long time so watching this feels like I am and is probably why I'm not as critical of it then I thought I would be. I don't know, I can see where everyone is coming from here but I genuinely don't seem to mind the differences or shortcomings. I think I'm still in a state of being happy and relieved it's finally airing lol.
I’m sure they made their money back just by selling the rights to all those other countries but it still must suck to see a project they invested so much time and money in fall so flat. Oh well. That’s just life. You win some you lose some.
Most of Nadech’s recent lakorns are quite low in ratings, even when he was paired with Yaya. I guess his fans (incl me) are quite dedicated, so they can generate buzz on SNS. Because on the internet, you can spam.
But the number of fans is not too high to actually make a difference to the rating. Casual fans will drop the lakorn if it is not good. Besides, many of his fans are fans of his couple work with Yaya, so some of them may not care too much about his individual work.
I hope all those countries will not regret buying this. Lol. I believe all this countries are from south east asia, they are familiar with the Korean version

It seem strange that it would trend on twitter But the rating is so low. I think the trending is because of Nadech's fans especially most are also NY fans. They want to support him. But not all of them are in thailand. I don't particularly find anything bad in Nadech's acting. He should make it his own. It is a remake that has to have their own version. Kim soo hyun has his own version. He shouldnt act like him. That is his own version of being an alien. No one says kim soo hyun is the only correct way..well unless youre an alien and you know he did it the same..lol.. I think Nadech didnt watch the original and gave his own version. As he says a bit more human-like. Because he thought hes been with humans for so long..However Matt just watched it so many times I think she tried to copy Gianna hyuns acting to a T . But Matt is not Junjihyun who can act annoying and still looks adorable. Some people find Matt annoying to begin with. That with the lack of chemistry just set this remake on it way to a low rating. Matt doesn't have many fans. If anything Nadech's and NY fans would be the one to watch this. However I have to say i think as much as many or most of them want to support Nadech, it's hard for many to watch real kiss scenes. I can tell you this is most especially true with many Filipino fans they normally see their favorite loveteams rarely paired up with anyone else and not really many love scenes when they do. I say this because many if not majority of those who trended this drama on twitter if i would guess are from the Philippines. Thailand is more conservative with kissing scenes and i can only imagine most NY fans except for some who doesnt mind both NY doing real kisses with others.

You're my destiny was a Korean remake, but they manage to make it their own which captivated the fans. Other remake tanked to the deep blue ocean without any hope of recovering. So it is a 50-50 chance with remake. With Thai audience I think they wanted something that resonates with them. Who wear 3 layer suits and ride a bike in Thailand?

You're my destiny is a Taiwanese drama then Korean remade it before Thai remake...I think some Taiwanese dramas are simlilar with Thai typical dramas that's why.
I never watch Korean ver but I try to watch this last night. The drama is nice but I feel like it can't captivate the audiences...just like nothing to look forward for what happen next..however I hope the story gets better and also the rating.

A remake that’s exactly the same copy is not going to do them any good. There’s no mystery in this lakorn and the Thai audience can’t relate to the storyline. We really can’t compare the Thai acting to Korean cus they are different culture. It would be harder to watch if they do act like Koreans. Lol

I couldn't quite remember ...the delay was redoing everything ? Did they really scratch everything and did it from the beginning or just reshoot many scenes? Why did they do that again? It was like another year. Almost 2 years. Then in the middle of the reshoot this whole thing with Matt came out... I think they decided to wait the issue to calm down. But it would probably have been better if they cast a new actress since they needed to reshoot, , .Matt doesn’t have a large fan base to begin with. Then there are people who started to not like her because of the issue, and it doesn’t matter how long the production wait, these people won’t watch it. People who will watch it are Nadechs fans , NY fans and people who like the Matt-Nadech pairing. ..and how many fans does Matt-Nadech pairing has? So it will be down to his fans and NY fans to watch. . Seriously, NYFC will support Nadech, but how many fans of Nadech and Yaya would actually want to watch Nadech kissing Matt who many people don’t like? The producers didn’t consider that, Maybe if it’s made with other actress... I’m thinking Davika might actually work or Bella., I know it’s a little mismatch on the age thing, but at this point chemistry is more important so people would watch, they don’t have to do it exactly as the kdrama. So those people saying Nadech should act this way or that like Kim soo hyun,..well to confirm that ..only an alien would know if Nadech is right or wrong. ....
Anyway, I would have preferred Nadech on DOTS remake instead of this, it is a great opportunity to play for him so he accepted without reading the script which I think was not a good idea, one should always read first before accepting so they know what they’re getting into regardless if it’s a great kdrama remake, I think he is doing good, I don’t know if this kind of thing will happen again, Becsuse actors of remakes of iconic dramas should really have only 1. Becsuse if you play 2 . Eg. If An actor would play lead in both MLFAS and DOTS remakes it might be less convincing on the second one he makes becsuse he gets associated with whichever role he played first.....
Although if the 1st one he made is a very forgettable drama, it might work, but on another hand they might be leery in castinh him for the other one if the 1st didn’t become popular. Considering it’s not just thai production who would make the decision for another kdrama remake. For Thais and most of us we know Nadechs ability and popularity . He could as easily play any part, But for Koreans ...he was already the lead for MLFAS and then the rating.. anyway, I really am hoping they would have that remake of DOTS with NY. It may have ruined it now,, But...who knows miracle still happens,

I get where you come from, but to be honest Pantip is not a place you can based your opinion on. they are bias as heck. I think more artist managers post in there than real people.

Did they changed director? It was just one thing after another...then boom Matt's scandal. But to me, with or without her scandal I lost interest in it after so long. And when it aired the excitement of wanting to see it just isn't there. And the OST is a snooze (the love you song) whatever the title is makes me yawn and the scene even if not boring became a drag.
I am a big fan of Matt anyone been here long enough would know lol but when her scandal broke I've mentioned she took the risk then the fall shouldn't be counted out. Every action has its consequences. So, she has to deal with whatever comes her way.
If they decided to pull Matt out Nadech n'ek should be someone in Jui's age group or looked that mature...Bee N...Ploy C. I even have a hard time seeing any age gap between Na and Matt. The older woman and younger man doesn't quite apply here when Matt looks most of the time his age. And to add, they really don't have the chemistry and I am still bothered by Matt's outfits. To add Yoghurt, Masu and God and whomever else that lacks the acting makes this lakorn bad. It's boring most of the time. So, I have to watch it as if it's a new lakorn not a remake.
Maybe Nadech needs to act with Wan Peng. She's an Alien but a damn good one. She's my favorite Alien so far lol

But can she be believable in it? .. She seem more like for drama than comedy romance... Or.. I don’t know how many years chompoo has over Nadech haha..but.. she seem to have an image like yaya. More on the adorable sweet side. ..the lead has to have some feistiness. .. I don’t know.. those were the only older people I know haha.I wonder what the next kdrama remake would be.... I like period kdrama eg. Moonlight drawn by clouds or moon embracing the sun...but that might be impossible to remake in thai
An all A list casts would have worked, sometimes even if everything else sucks. It is sometimes the best way to almost guaranteed the result of rating wouldn’t be embarrassing. If they really played it safe that’s what they should have done
