You know what ? I compare this drama to another Ch7 airing drama, Prom Pissawat, and I can’t help but think that Parin, who’s supposed to have « raped » Mita (by accident, sort of), is yet a better man than Plapon who insults and hurts the woman he loves non-stop since the beginning of the drama just because she dances in a pub and has a mother he doesn’t like

Tell me about it. I dropped that drama when I realized how childish his character was written. We keep going back and forth into sweet and then will fight. They have epic chemistry I'll tell you but nope, Pon you are not worth it like Parin

I can't believe the girl is even letting him walk all over her just for love. I hate those kind of characters. I also think it sends the wrong message to young viewers that just because this love is very explosive and blah blah then its okay to weather these "tough times". Ugh he has issues but so does most people. Doesn't really give him a pass. I wonder how the ratings are for Prom Pissawat. I saw a thread on Pantip (translated) asking why PP is like that when PP and SW have similar starting plot but PP was left in the dust by SW and has gotten boring. But the commenters were just saying don't compare so I guess its still popular haha

Speaking of ratings, I'm kinda bummed that we're just passing 5 for So Wayree. Is it because most viewers are watching online or from international fans? Live viewing on Fb has surpassed 87k last I checked on Twitter. And thats not including those watching in their website I think. I guess after finding out Mookda's last lakorn with Weir got 11 for ratings that I couldn't help but compare ☹

It’s like all the cliches we hated about lakorns and we thought to have disappeared (the jerk, selfish misogynistic male lead, the female lead who gets treated by everyone like sh** but accepts it, the second male lead who’s an angel but still doesn’t get the girl, the evil female who believes she has a marriage contract with the male lead and thinks it’s okay for her to slap and insult everyone around her but gets no punishment, the bitchy mother-in-law) were suddenly resurrected and lining up in Prom Pissawar:pancarta:
Now, I’m more interested by the love story between the sister of the female lead (who yet started off badly but at least stands up for herself unlike the n’ek) and the second male lead

I'm a bit confused about Parin change of mind...it wasn't really clear for me when he realised that he is actually at fault...he suddenly thought at the end of ep 5 that he hurt her...but what made him understand?

This is what I am thinking. I think him seeing his friend turn on him and his friend saying all those positive things made him rethink things. Also, like milaneves mentioned, his secretary did say things that really probably made him realize maybe she isn't as terrible as he thought and maybe she's like that cause of the things him and her have experienced together. So I think both those two people saying things had him thinking.

I'm with you on this. For me, it was kind of a bit rushed this realization. Until the beginning of ep 5, he still thought she was not good. Then, bang, viral video out, friend lashed at him and he suddenly realised that he was an a**hole (sorry for the word, but couldn't find another one to describe p'ek's behaviour since day 1 - jump ep 2 and go to ep 3 - of drama). And now that almost everything is out in the open, for me, his secretary might be the word of wisdom he needs to man up/grow. She said some deserved truths in ep 6, well and long overdue truths to our p'ek.
It's Khun Gina, right? Her name, I mean.

And I'm so disappointed with Mita's father... the way he spoke to her when she apologized for what happened... and it wasn't her fault. No... she didn't deserve that. No woman should have to endure this kind of behaviour.
Sorry, I'm in a rant here. I'm angry for Mita. 555555555

I’m just annoyed that he didn’t tell mitra nor khun chen that napasiri sold khun mitra to him that night. Like it could’ve easily been resolved. I feel like the only person with the brain is mitra best friend(khun na)

I agree but honestly if he told them this lakorn would end shortly after haha. They need that for the climax.

Moreover, all the characters only doubt Parin, even when he swore that he didn’t release the clip. If he were to talk about Napasiri’s part in this, they may not believe him.
And I actually think he doesn’t know Napasiri is an acquaintance of Mita

He knows Pam is an acquaintance of Mitra because he talks about how the person that wants to do her harm is near her. It took both of them time to calm down to review and question what really happened that night. Kawina is a little more clear headed because she’s outside looking in, plus she is always overly cautious of Pam, knowing that Pam is only using them for their status/money.

Pam is narcissistic. She is really playing everyone to get what she wants and Chaen, even though he’s suspicious, just falls right into it. If he doesn’t believe Kawina who he considers a friend, he’s not going to believe Parin.

Marn Bang Jai got 11 for ratings? If I'm not mistaken its highest rating was 6.3 right or did you mean her lakorn with Mike?
I think consider the political situation, the flood and covid in Thailand, SW is still doing a good job in terms of ratings. It's on trending every episode and made pranang more popular too. But it's true that nowadays people tend to watch online more. Screenshot_20200825_131216_com.UCMobile.intl.jpg

Can we get Gina in another lakorn? Girl is so funny hahah. I think she's the character I enjoy the most!

I appreciate how good-paced this lakorn is, but does anyone feel the dread of repetitive scenes? Every time Mitra cries, she goes to the cafe shop. Mitra and Traitot fuels at the office. Mitra drops the twin off at school and meets Gun. Parin fuels with Chen at the office. Their talks are always about projects. Meetings in every lakorn. Chen goes to the cafe shop. Maybe I'm being overdramatic but I can't help but noticed it. I'm not sure how much of this lakorn I actually enjoy anymore. Its like I want to because I mean, Mookda and Kem has awesome chemistry but (insert reasoning above). Imma just say, the lakorn didn't live up to the teaser (at least for me). I think this plot has so much potential but right now, idek. The teaser for next ep looks promising so I'll stick around

I don’t know where to watch this lakorn since it’s not on YouTube, but I’ve watched all the highlights Ch7 uploaded. Am I missing something here? Doesn’t even look like a rape scene. Yeah, she’s drugged, but not unconscious AND...was an active participant. Did he know she was drugged? If not, I feel bad for how everyone is treating him as a rapist. She seemed to enjoyed it & did not seem like she did not consent.

same. He didn’t even know she was drugged. But what bothers people is that Parin « bought » Mita, thinking she was a prostitute. In other words, they don’t like the idea of a man using prostitution (and I can understand that, even though I love Parin)

it still classed as rape because she’s Vulnerable and hasn’t got the capability . He knew she wasn’t capable by the state of her ,doesn’t mean he has to go ahead with it. I don’t know abt u but in England, it still classed as rape.

also u can watch it with English subtitle from neko meow meow website

In Brazil, it is a crime too. To maintain sexual intercourse with someone who cannot freely e consciously express his/her will is considered a crime (it's techinically rape here too). So, I guess that's why, amongst other things, most people are disappointed with p'ek.

agree with you on the repetitive scenes, I mean something felt off but not until you point it out loud. but I want to add that it seems to circle around the side characters? I think they actually wanna highlight Parin and Mita's encouters than others, with beautiful sceneries and setups just for them. but as you said, I might be so immersed by their chemistry that I barely notice anything else lol. they still have secrets to reveal and more relationship development next week so hoping it would make you feel better.

Me too, I think there were some repetitive scenes but they didn't make me bored. I think they managed to arrange them in a way that I'm excited to watch. Also your saying they wanna highlight their often encounters is an interesting point. I think it's all for a great build-up because things gonna hit up and turn direction next week, which means more development of them.
But yes the truth is I'm truly captivated by Kem and Mookda's chemistry so I'm not really annoyed by anything else (except for Gun) because I mostly look forward to their scenes together. It's amazing how sometimes good chemistry has this much power. But to be fair, I think SW has some very good details and I'm happy with how the drama is going on.
