Chapter 21: Hold Your Breath

Saturday evening

"Sai, sweetheart, are you ready? We have to get going or else we'll be late" Her mom knocks on her bedroom door.

"Coming Mom! Let me put on these earrings first & my heels!" Sai shouted from the bathroom.

Sai looks at herself in the mirror, "okay, i am set. My hair is in place, my make-up looks nice, my dress isn't too revealing but it's still sexy at the same time... I am ready to blow these people's mind away..."

Moments later, Sai walks downstairs, where her mom & dad waited for her.

"Sai, darling... you look stunning... that dress that i picked for you is just fabulous... i can't believe you've transform into such a beautiful woman..." her mother smiled at her.

"London really helped me out mother. I feel like a different person too!" she chuckled.

"You are indeed, the gorgeous lady i know, besides your mother, that is..." her dad said to Sai.

Sai smiled at her parents, "thanks mom, dad. so where are we going exactly?" she asked nervously.

"Oh, it's a party dad's VP is having, we gotta for the press, you know how it goes." her mom replied, trying not give away too much info about what the real party was for.

Sai nodded her head, "okay... if you say so... let's go before we're late..."

"Sit...! Sit...! Are you ready??? We gotta be there by 7! & it's 6:30 now!" Sit mom screams from the living room.

Sit walks out of his room, wearing a sharp looking white suit with a red tie & a rolex watch.

"My... my ... my... look at my son Sithra... looking very sharp & handsome. Are you trying to impress Saiphon??" his mom joked.

"Mom.. please... i don't need to impress her... she needs to impress herself... I'm doing this for you mom because this is what you want..." Sit replies.

"Are you sure, Son? I mean... i've never seen you wear a suit like that before... maybe you are trying to impress Saiphon." His dad said.

"Come on, Mom, Dad... I'm not trying to impress Saiphon... "

"Alright... alright... no need to get so defensive.." his mom said.

"Oh, mom, I've invited Mark & Kat to the party & I have to pick them up. So i'll meet you there okay??"

His mom crosses her arms, "are you trying to get out of going to again???" his mom ask.

"NO mom... i'm not! Mark & Kat really are going. Kat even bought Saiphon a gift! if you keep talking to me, we will all be late!"

His mom gave him a stern look, "okay, fine... BUT if you don't show up again, i will have you dead, you understand me!? Stop by a flower shop & buy roses for Saiphon too! She like pink roses!" she waved a finger at him, "& where is Saiphon's gift???" she asked.

"Its in my pocket mom! I gotta go! see you at the party!" Sit kisses his mom on the cheek & walks out of the house.

Sit picks up Mark first.

"Wow buddy, you looking sharp tonight & you’re smelling good!? what are you trying to do? impress Saiphon??" Mark asked.

"Man, stop what that shit. I'm not trying to impress her. I just put on the first thing i saw in my closet that's all." Sit replied, getting a little irritated.

"hey man... calm down... i was just joking..."

"yea yeah... I gotta go pick up Kat first, then stop by the flower shop to buy some roses & then we'll head to the party."

"Kat? Your cousin Kat??" Mark's eyes widen.

"Yeah, why? You gotta a problem with my cousin??" He asked.

"No noo.. i haven't seen her in so long… was wonder how is she." Mark replied.

"Well when you see her, the two of you can talk." Sit replied.

They stopped in front of Kat's house & Sit called Kat to come outside.

Kat walked out, looking stunning. Mark's eyes shifted to her. She was wearing a peachy color dress that was knee high. She looks different from the last time Mark had seen her.

"Hi Sit, Hi Mark." Kat said as she got into the car.

"You look beautiful tonight Kat." Mark commented.

Kat smiled & thanked him.

"hey... you hitting on my cousin???" Sit asked Mark.

"n-n-noo i wasn't, i'm just commenting..." Mark stuttered.

"don't listen to Sit, he's just overprotective." she smiled at Mark.

"knock it off you two..." Sit looking at Mark from the corner of his eyes.

Sit, Kat & Mark arrived at exactly 7. The walked into the Sanook Hotel, the hotel that Sai’s father owns. The decorations were beautiful, it was very girly. The place had pink, red & white balloons. The tables had white table cloth & every table had either white, red or pink bouquet of roses in the center of the table. There was a DJ & a dance floor. Photographers were lined up on the side near the entrance. On top of the stage there was a banner that said "Welcome home & Happy Birthday Saiphon."

"This is really gorgeous. It's so... girly!" Kat squeals.

Sit spotted his mom from a distant.

"hey, mom is over there... let's walk over to her." Sit signaled Mark & Kat towards his mom.

"You made it on time!" his mom smiled at him.

"Kat, Mark, how are you two darlings?? Haven't seen you in ages!" His mom smiled at the two with excitement.

"Hi auntie Wilana, I'm doing good." Kat gives her aunt a kiss on the cheek & a hug.

"Mark come her & give mom a hug!" Mark chuckles & hugs Sit's mom.

"Saiphon should be here any minute, I just got off the phone with Pathra." She told Sit.

"Oh great... she better hurry up come so we can get this whole party over with... I don't wanna be here..." he said. His mom rolled her eyes at him.

All the sudden, camera started flashing & people where calling Saiphon's name.

"oooh... she's here!" Sit's mom said with excitement.

Sit looks over the crowd to get a peek, but he couldn't see anyone because of all the flashing lights.

"Surprise!" the crowd of photographer shouted.

"Back up... back up... coming through...!" Sit heard one of the security shout at the paparazzis.

The paparazzis backed up & let them through but not enough to see Sai's faces.

Sit saw Sai's parents, "where is Sai-glok at...?" he asked himself, still peeking at the crowd, with the roses in hand.

Sai's parents walked towards the middle, yet still no Saiphon in sight.

Sit held on tighter to the bouquet of roses. Kat looks at Sit, who looked as though he was nervous.

"Are you excited to see Saiphon or what..?" Kat asked Sit.

"huh..? What? did you say something Kat? I didn't hear you...." Sit replied not paying attention to Kat.

Kat chuckles & peeked at the crowd, who by now made their way to the stage.

Pathra & Deth got on stage & thanks everyone for coming.

Sit was still looking for Saiphon, but her parents were blocking her so he couldn’t see her.

"... & we would like to introduce our daughter, the birthday girl... Saiphon...!" the crowd begins to clap & her parents made way for Sai to come on stage & give a little speech.

Just then, Sit sees this girl walks up to the microphone. He's eyes widen & his mouth dropped. That girl was..... Saiphon.

"that can't be her..." Sit said under his breath.

She was wearing a little blue dress, low-cut halter top. the dress showed some legs. She wasn't wearing glasses anymore, she no longer had braces, her hair didn't look nappy anymore. Her smile was breath-taking. Suddenly, Sit felt his throat tighten & chills ran down his spin. It seem as though time had stopped & his heart had stopped for that split second.

"Wow... Saiphon actually looks... absolutely... drop-dead… gorgeous..." Sit smiles to himself.

Chapter 22: What Goes Around

Sit shakes his head, "what am i talking about...? This is Sai-glok we're talking about... the ugliest girl remember!" Sit said to himself, "I can't be thinking she's beautiful!" He quickly glance at another direction.

On stage, Sai thanked everyone for coming. "This sure was a surprise," Sai smiled, "I didn't see this coming at all but I hope you all enjoy yourselves tonight. thank you once again for coming." she smiled & walked off stage.

Sai followed her parents, who were getting attack with flashing cameras.

"Over here! smile please!" one photographer said.

"okay, okay... that's enough pictures for now... let them enjoy the party. Give them room!" said one of the guard, pushing through the crowd of photographers.
Now we have to excuse ourselves. You are all welcome to stay. Please excuse us." Sai's dad waved to the photographers.

The crowd of photographers finally made way.

"Mom, Dad, this was surely a surprise. thank you so much! you the best parents anyone can have!" she hugged her parents.

"No problem darling, anything for my princess." her dad smiled.

Across the room, Sit was still staring at Sai.

"Sit… Sit...!" his mom called.

"huh? what?? did you say something..?" he replied, looking lost.

"Can't keep your eyes off Sai, huh?" His mom teased him.

"No... i was just… uh... thinking about something..." he said trying to act normal.

"wow, Saiphon is gorgeous. She's got one killer body! Are you sure this is the same Saiphon you always complain about Sit???" Kat asked him.

"Oh.. she's the same girl… but she has transform into a beautiful swan! Look at her man! ohhhh weeee! she is just smoking hott! I think i'm in love..." Mark said, staring at Sai from a distant.

"Are you guys serious?? She is not gorgeous... What does she think she can be beautiful just because she changed a bit..??? please... she's still the same Saiphon in my eyes." Sit said.

"What?! you crazy! look at her man, she's just... wow..." Mark reply punching Sit on the arm.

"What the hell man? why'd you hit me??" Sit asked.

"Are you blind or what?! Saiphon is drop dead gorgeous!" Mark squealed.

"Yeah, Sit, you should go get your eyes checked... Saiphon is beautiful..." Kat agreed with Mark.

"I don't need to get my eyes checked, I have perfect vision. She is not something to die for..." he said getting aggravated with Kat & Mark.

"Okay, enough. stop arguing & let's walk over to talk Saiphon." Sit's mom interrupted.

Sit rolled his eyes & followed his mom.

"Hey, look who's coming our way, Sai." her dad said.

Sai turned her head & sees Sit walking towards her. She smiles to herself, "Let the games begin..." she smirked.

"Sai, sweetheart, you look absolutely beautiful." Sit's mom gave Sai a hug.

"Thank you Mama Sit, you look beautiful yourself."

"Oh you're just being nice, i'm an old fart..." she laughs, "You remember Sit right?"

Sit was standing behind his mom.

Sai smiles at him, "of course i remember him, I could never forget a guy like Sithra..."

Sit forced a smile on his face, "Hi Saiphon, these are for you." he hands her the bouquet of roses.

She looks down at the bouquet of roses, hesitant to take it, but took them anyways.

"Thank you for the roses." she smiled.

"Hi Saiphon..." Mark interrupts.

"Mark? is that you?? Wow.. i didn't recognize you there for a second... you look more mature..." Sai smiles.

"Yes it is Mark & let me tell you, you look stunning tonight! " he chuckles.

"awe, you're being too nice now."

Sit's mom cuts in, "oh & this is Kat, my niece."

"Hi, I'm Kat. Nice to finally meet you Saiphon." she smiled at Sai. "I bought you a gift." she hands Sai the box of earrings she bought for her.

"Oh why thank you Kat, you really didn't have too." she smiled & Kat hands her the gift.

"okay, we'll leave you 4 to talk. Sai, we'll be on the other side if you need me." Sai's mom said.

"Let me put the roses & gifts away for you hunnie," sai's mom grabs the roses & gifts from her & walks off with her dad along with Sit's parents.

Sai watches her parents walk off, still smiling at them as they disappears into the crowd

Sai turns to Sit & frowns at him.

"Okay, let’s cut the crap… You can stop pretending now Sithra." Sai asked Sit.

"ha-ha. I see you're still the same annoying girl… just like in high school." Sit chuckles.

Sai gives him a frown, "& I see you're still the same ass..." she smiles.

"You think you are this hotshot supermodel now or what? I'll tell you what? Just because you change your clothes, your hair & everything about yourself, it doesn't make you prettier. On the inside, you're still the same ugly Sai-glok that i know." Sit said to Sai staring at her hard this time.

Sai's jaw dropped, "Look, Sithra, you asshole, I'm not the same little girl i use to be. Girls might find you as handsome, sexy, fine or whatever, but on the inside, your heart is dark as black coffee!" she shouted as Sit.

Mark & Kat looked at one another, shocked & confused.

Sit puts his hand on his hips, "Listen, you only wish you could be my girlfriend! But keep dreaming because i will NEVER, I repeat, NEVER, give a girl like you a chance! You might have the looks but you're still ugly in my eyes!" he shouted back at Sai.

Sai clinches her fit, "& what makes you think i still want to be your girlfriend?! You are thinking to highly of yourself, you asshole! If i really wanted you, i could get you just like that,� she snaps her finger, “but you are not worth my time anymore! You are full of shit, you made my life miserable & i'm back to make your life miserable!!" she took a step closer, "Remember Sithra, i'm not a person you want to mess with..."

Sit chuckles, "I would like to see you try." He smiled at Sai.

Sai leans into Sit. He could feel her breathing on his neck & his heart began beating faster & faster.

Sai leans into his ear & whisper, "Have you ever heard of Karma...? what goes around will come around... This time around Sithra… you will get yours..."

She takes a step back, stomped on his foot & walks away. She turns around & gave sit a wink.

Sit grabs his foot, "oww... owww... you bitch!" he whispers.

"wow... she is difinitely a different person... man... i think she's serious about getting her revenge on you dude!" Mark shakes his head.

"Are you sure this is really the same girl you don't like Sit? She sure is fiesty!" Kat said, "you better watch your back, she might do something to you..."

"I don't need to watch my back... What can she possibly do to me? If she wants to play games, I'll play games with her." Sit replied, getting a bit aggravated.

"Make my life miserable?... i would like to see you try..." he chuckles.

Chapter 23: Reminiscing

The party ended at 3 in the morning. Sai & her parents went home exhausted.

"Mom, Dad, thank you so much, it was fun." she gave her parent a hug.

"No problem sweetie, we're glad you had fun." her mom replied.

"Now, it's time for bed, i'm super tired. I need some sleep." Sai yawns & kisses her mom & dad goodnight & walks up the stairs.

"oh Sai, i almost forgot to give you this," her mother gives her a box, "It's from Sithra, he forgot to give it to you at the party so gave it to me to give to you."

Sai looks at the box & takes it from her mom, "thanks mom" she smiles & walks off to her room.

Sai puts the box on the draw next to her bed.

"I bet, it's something cheap.." she snared, "I'll open it after i get out of the shower."

She disppears into the bathroom & returned a few minutes later. She hops into her bed & stares at the box. She hesitates about opening it.

"oh what the hell...? Might as well open it..." she said as she unwraps it. She opens the box & pulls out the pink diamond bracelet.

Her mouth drops & her eyes sparkles, "wow, this is really gorgeous..."

She tries it on, "uhm... a perfect fit too." she smiled looking at the bracelet. She shakes her head, "Wait... I can't be wearing his bracelet... I can't let him see me wearing his bracelet. It's a sign of weakness... i can't let him win... not this time..."

She takes off the bracelet & puts it back in the box & shovels it deep in her drawer. "There... it’s hidden... I don't want to see it again." she smiled.

She lays in her bed & thought about the party tonight. She replayed Sit’s words over & over. Then she thought of the high school days where he put her through hell. She began to get mad.

“Sithra… I’m gonna make you suffer… just watch… I’m gonna make you fall in love with me… I promise…� she smiled & closes her eyes.

After the party, Sit, Mark & Kat went over to DiscoNite Club for a few drinks.

"Who does she think she is?? Seriously?? who?!? She's no one special, everybody hated her in high school, she was the ugliest thing ever...!" Sit said, taking a shot of Patron.

"I don't know man, you were mean to her & all she ever done was be nice to you..." Mark replied, sipping on his beer.

"Who's side are you on?! Mine or hers?!" Sit asked Mark.

"I'm on yours! I'm on yours! But think about it Sit, you made her life, miserable. Specially at prom..." Mark replied.

"What did you do that Sai on prom, Sit?" Kat asked.

"He dissed her at prom, made her go sit at another table, had his girlfriend beat her up & he threw on the sand, causing her to injury herself & he left her stranded on the beach with no ride... you are so lucky she got home safely & that she covered for your ass..." Mark shakes his head.

"what?! Sit, how could you...? that’s just wrong!!" Kat gave Sit a stern look.

"Look, Mom told me i had to take her to prom... she didn't say i had to be with her at prom at all times… & correction, i didn't make May fight Sai, May did it herself, & the reason why i threw Sai was because she attack May from behind without any warning..." Sit defended himself taking another shot of Patron.

"Please... you just hate her... that's why..." Mark said.

"Why are you defending her Mark? You hated her too..." Sit said feeling irritated.

"Who said i hated her?! i never did. I mean, yes i was mean to her... but i only teased her. YOU, on the other hand, you treated like shit... so it serves her right to treat you like shit now." Mark said punching his friend on the arm.

"oh whatever...you guys need to stop defending her... she isn't the angel everybody thinks... that girl is evil inside, evil i tell y'all!" he shouts, "& thanks for having my back friend!" Sit asked the bartender for a beer.

"Don't you think it was harsh Sit...? I mean, what did Sai do to you exactly? It seems like she has always been nice to you." Kat said.

"Nice to Sit?! Sai went the extra mile for Sit! Whenever Sit missed class, she would bring it for him. Sometimes when Sit was too lazy to do his homework, he had Sai do it for him. She even gives him the answers to tests!!" Mark shouted.

Kat's eyes widen, "wow, Sit, it seems like Sai really liked you a lot."

"Like isn't the word... Sai was in love with Sit." Mark said.

"Sit, how come you didn't tell me about all this? You make her seem so bad but she seem like a sweetheart." Kat said.

"Sweetheart my ass... she puts on this front like she's this sweet girl but she's nothing like that at all. " Sit takes a sip of his beer.

"Oh i remember this one incident in high school. Sit was at basketball practice & Sai was would always go to the practices to watch him. So one day, Sit got fed up with her & he threw the ball in her face. He busted her nose i think. She was bleeding like crazy & all Sit did was laugh." Mark shook his head.

"It was an accident man... i didn't do it on purpose..." Sit replied.

"Accident? you call that an accident?? She was in sitting in the stands, nobody was around her, & you just threw the ball towards her man... How is that an accident exactly??"

Kat shook her head too.

"Oh, i got another one! It was lunch time & Sai was passing by & he stuck his foot out & she tripped, falling face first."

Sit laughs, "Oh yeah, i remember that.. THAT was funny...�

"I'll admit it was funny, but mean... She ran away all embarrassed."

"Sit, really though, what makes you hate Sai so much?" Kat asked Sit.

"Nothing really. She was a nerd in high school, I was a jock, she followed me around like a lost puppy. She’d offer to do my homework so I let her. That was that. She just tried so hard to fit in, specially around me. I don't know how my parents could be best friends with her parents... they're so dorky." Sit shakes his head.

"I'm tell you Sit, you're gonna regret all the things you've said & done to Sai. Have you ever heard of Karma?? What goes around will come around... & i think this time around, she'lll get you for good..." Kat said.

"Have you ever heard of Karma... what goes around will come around... this time around.. you will get yours..." Sit repeated those words in his head, "those are the same words Sai said..." Sit thought to himself.

"So if i were you... i would try & patch things up with Sai before she pulls something big on you & you will definitely regret it.�

"yeah yeah... whatever..." Sit replied as he took another shot.

"He's so hard headed..." Mark said looking at Kat.

"I'm not patching anything up... she wants to play games, i'll show her who's the better person." Sit smiled, "she's gonna be on one hell of a ride, just you wait Saiphon..."

Chapter 24: Working for the Nerd

"WHAT?! you can't be serious dad!?!?" Sit screamed.

"Calm down, son & yes i'm serious. You will work for Saiphon at the Sanook Hotel starting Monday morning." His dad replies.

"Why am i working for the nerd?! Shouldn't i be working for you Dad?!? & How long will i be working for her?????" Sit threw his arms in the air.

"You are working for me Sit & it could take a few months... maybe even years..."

"months?!? Years?!! come on dad! How is me working for Sai, working for you?? i'm confused...." Sit puts one hand to his head.

"Look, son, our banking company is trying to invest in Sai's dad's hotel. If Deth & I join hands, it will surely overpower other companies. I need your to work for Sai so you can get a feel of how the hotel works." his dad explained.

"But dad! i can't work with Sai!! why can't you get someone else!?" Sit begged.

"I can't someone else to do this job, it has to be you. I already made my decision. you are working for Sai & that's final." His dad commanded.

"Dad! --"

"Don't Dad me, you are working with her mister. I already told Sai's dad. I can't back out now."

"Here we go again! making decisions for me without my approval!" Sit throws his hands in the air & paces back & forth.

"Listen to your father Sit. Look on the plus side, it will give you & Sai a chance to get closer." his mom suggested.

"a chance for me to get close to Saiphon??? Mom! are you crazy! I can't stand being near her! what makes you think i wanna work with her!??" He shouts.

"Listen, young man, your dad says you have to work with Saiphon & that's that. Don't argue with me! It's my rule. Enough!" she shouts back, startling Sit.

"But mom...." Sit whines, "why...? I would do anything.. anything please?!"

"No, you are working with Sai & that's it. No more begging."

"I can't believe you chose her over me...! i'm your only son!! in fact, i'm your only child!" he shakes his head, "Fine! if that's what you want, I'll do it but i won't like it... this is worst than taking her to prom...." he trudges out the house.

"Sit... Sit!! Where are you going???" his mom called him, "get back in here! we're not done yet!"

"I"m leaving mom! byeee!!!" Sit shouts back. He gets in the car & drives off.

"Man... How could they make me work for Sai?! How!? This is just straight torture... oh man..." Sit hits the steering wheel, "...but... on the other hand... working with Saiphon gives me a chance to beat her in her own game..." he smiled at that thought.

"yes... twist things around & turn the game on her..." Sit chuckles, "ooh.. maybe this is a good idea after all..."

"Huh? Sithra's gonna work for me?? What?!" Sai shouted.

"Yesh sweetie, Sit's gonna come work for you." her dad replied.

"What?! how? & why??" she whined.

"Well, Sit's dad wants to invest in our hotel business & Pongchit needs someone to check out how our hotel runs so he's sending Sithra to come work for us, well mostly you sweetie." her dad smiled at her.

"Bu.. bu... but... how... i mean, why?" Sai's face filled with confusion.

"It's like this, Our hotel & Sithra's father's banking company are very well-known so when the two comes together as one, it's gonna over power the other companies."

Sai shook her head, "But dad, why does it have to be him?? I don't want to work with Sit!" she shreked.

"Why not, sweetheart, i thought you like Sit?" her mom asked.

"Liked mom... past tense..." she gave her mom a stern look.

"oh, well... just think of it as helping dad with the hotel company." her mom replied.

"I like helping the hotel company but... it's just that the person i have to work with, i'm not okay with!" she shouted.

"look it at this way sweetie, you're the one who's gonna be in charge of Sithra."
Sai's face brighten up when she heard that.

"What?! really???" Sai asked.

"Yes sweetie, he's gonna be your secretary."

Sai thought to herself, "no way...! this can be my chance to use my authority powers over him... i think i'm happy with this move..."

"well.. okay...." Sai said, pretending to be sad, "i guess i can live with that..."

"okay sweetie, you will start tomorrow, Monday morning." her dad replied.

"I guess this means i need to go shopping for work clothes..." Sai said walking up to her room.

She returned a few minutes later, "okay mom, dad, i'm gonna go shopping for work clothes. I'll see you later."

Her parents waved bye to her.

Sai got in her car & drove off.

"Sithra... you are gonna be begging for your life when i'm done with you..." she lets out an evil laugh, "you better hold on tight... because i'm gonna take you for one hell of a ride..."

Chapter 25: Do As I Say

It's the first day of work for Sai & Sit. Sai was excited about working with him simply because she will finally be able to torture him & make him pay for all the things he has done to her. Sit, on the hand, just dreads working for Sai. He doesn't want to be around her, let alone speak to her.

"Man, I can't believe I have to work for Sai-glok... I mean, yeah, she's pretty now, underneath all that make up, she's still the same ugly annoying Sai-glok that i know. How am i gonna get out this..." Sit paces back & forth in his room. It's 7:30 a.m. & work starts at 8 a.m.

knock knock. "Sit... Sit... are you in there???" his mom called, "it's 7:30, you better hurry up & get going or else you'll be late!" his mom shouted.

"Damn..." Sit whisper, "yeah mom! i'm on my way, just fixing my hair." he lied.

He grabs his keys & wallet & left to work.

Sai was at work by 7:00. Her dad showed her around the hotel, introduced her to the workers & showed her, her office.

"This, office, pumpkin, is yours." Sai's dad waved his finger.

The office was huge, the view was beautiful. Sai could see the beach through her window.

"wow, dad... this is amazing! it's very gorgeous & it's got pink roses." Sai picks up the vest of roses.

“I told them that you like pink roses & the cleaners said they’ll put fresh ones every day for you.� He smiled at Sai.

“Thank you dad. I love the smell of roses.� She puts the roses back on her desk, “ Why are there 2 desks in this office?"

Her dad chuckles, "oh it's for Sithra, sweetie."

"What!? you mean, I have to see Sithra's face everyday when i work????" She shrieks.

"yes sweetie, is that a problem for you??" her dad's raises his eyebrow.

"well... uh... dad.... why??? why doesn't he work OUTSIDE my office like other secretaries??" Sai puts her hands on her hips.

"Because so he can help you out more with the work loads sweetie. It'll be a hassle to in & out the office. So me & Pongchit agreed to have the two of you share the same office. " he smiled.

"Dad...! Then why don't you give him his own office! why doesn't he have to share it with me?!" She throws her hand up in the air.

"It's not gonna be that bad sweetie, you'll be doing your part & he'll be doing his part."

Sai sits down on the chair & mops. "Fine..." she sighs.

"Sweetie, if you need anything, let Jane [ Aom P. plays her :)], my secretary take care of it for you."

"Hi, Ms. Saiphon, I'm Jane. If you need anything, don't be afraid to tell me, i'm here to help you."

Sai smiled at her, "she looks like she could be my age... & she's gorgeous too..." sai thought to herself.

"Well Sweetie, i gotta get back to work. If you need me, just dial number 1. Have a wonder first day at work. Let's go Jane, we got lots of work to do." her dad smiled at her & give her a kiss on the cheek.

"Okay dad... I'll try..." she forced a smile on her face & watches her dad & Jane walk out of the office.

"Stupid Sithra... I hate you... I'm stuck seeing your face for 8 hours..." she sank into her chair.

She looks at her watch, 8:15, it reads, "where the hell is he anyways! Work start at 8:00! He's gonna get it when he gets here..." she grits her teeth.

Knock knock.

"Come in, it's not locked." Sai shouted.

Sit walks in with a smile on her face. Sai crosses her arm, "Work starts at 8:00, asshole, it's 8:15 now..." she frowns at him.

"Sorry Sai-glok! I was doing some errands before this." Sit said.

Sai rolled her eyes at him.

"So where is my office space???" Sit asked with excitement.

Sai crosses her arms & points to the desk at the right, "there."

Sit turns his head & gasps. "This?! This is my desk???" he shouts.

"yes, you asshole, that is your desk, do you not see your name on the desk??" She replied.

"Why do i have to share an office with you?!?"

"How should I know? I didn’t agree to this!! "

"Please, i bet this was all your plan to try & get closer to me! I bet it was your plan to have me work for you!" Sit shouted, leaning closer over her desk.

"Oh please... there you go again thinking highly of your damn self! I wasn't the one who agreed to work with you! Seeing your face is torture enough, working with will be like hell, but i'm sure hell is better than this!" She gets out of her seat, moving closer towards Sit.

"Listen, Sai-glok, why don't you admit it, you still have feelings for me & the reason why you're doing all this is because you want to get back at me!" he shouts back at her.

"ha... ha... ha... you are just full of shit today. One thing it’s all about you, the second thing is you... the world doesn't revolve around you, you arrogant asshole! I'm over you & i've been over you ever since the day you left me beaten & alone on the beach on our prom! i never did get to thank you for that! You shithead!" she screamed back in his face.

Sit steps back & laughs, "ha... ha.. ha.. if i had a chance to do it again, i would do it again...like i told you back then, you are pathetic... you always have been & always will be...." he smiled at her.

Sai clinches her fist & walks over to him, "I'm pathetic huh? Pathetic huh? is this pathetic for you?!?"

Sai clinchs her fist, pulled her arm back & punches him in the face, hitting him on the jaw. Sit's head bouce back.

"How pathetic is that now & who's pathetic now!?!" she shouted, laughing in his face.

"Owww.. owww... my jaw... Sai... youu--" Sit holds his nose.

"I told you at the party, i'm not a person to be mess with... so if i were you, i'd be careful." she pointed a finger at her.

"You... youu...!" Sit shouted back.

"stop right there... i wouldn't if i were you... remember... i have to write a report on your behavior & give it to your dad..." she smiled, "so.. if anything happens to me, or if you do anything to me... you're dead." she laughs.

Sit tasted the blood in his mouth. he touched his lip & sure enough, it was blood.

Sai gave him a smirk & walked back to her desk. She dialed Jane's extension number, "Jane, It's Sai can you please bring a first aid kit to my office ASAP." Sai hung up the phone & looked at Sit.

"Awe... did I busted you in the lip? Better get that taken care of… i can't have you injuried at work now.." she smiled at him, happy to get her revenge.

"You.. you bitch.... I'll get you back Sai-glok..." Sit whispers to himself, he felt his face boiling up.

knock knock.

"Come in, it's not locked" sai shouted.

"Here's the first aid kit you asked for Ms. Saiphon."

"Oh thank you so much!" she smiled, "oh this is Mr. Sithra, my secretary."

Jane looked at him, wide eyed. "oh my... what happen to you??" looking at Sit wiped his nose.

Sit looked at Sai, who gave him a look that said "you better not say anything."

"oh uh... i'm a clumsy person, i accidently hit my chin on the chair when I was trying to grabbing a pen..." he chuckles nervously.

Sai smiled to herself.

"oh.. okay, let me help you with that." Jane replied, taking out some tissue to wipe his bloody nose.

Sai watches as Jane clean Sithra. She was pretty close to Sithra & Sai was feeling bothered by that. Sit noticed that she was getting annoyed by Jane getting close to him & he moved in closer to Jane.

Sai's eyes widen. "Ahem." Sai cleared her throat, "are you done yet Jane?" She asked impatiently.

"almost..." Jane replied, not looking at Sai.

"Hurry because i need to get back to work & so does Sithra." she folds her arms.

"Okay, i'm all done." she smiles at Sithra, "if you need anything else, you can call me. I'm number 5 on your extension." Sit smiles at her.

"Thank you so much & i will call you if i need anything." Sit smiles at her, "This girl is pretty. I wonder how old she is..." he thought to himself.

Jane leaves the office.

"Okay, it's time for work. It's 9:00 & I haven't done anything yet. You've wasted a lot of my time already." she scold him, "I want some coffee."

Sit's eyes widen, "and.. why are you telling me? " he shouted.

"Yes, i want coffee & you're gonna go buy me some. You’re my secretary aren’t you>" she smiled at him.

"Wait.. wait wait! buy it for you?? why do i have to buy it for you?! why can't you drink the coffee here???" he asked, feeling irratitated.

"because i don't like the coffee here. is that a good enough reason? I like & prefer the coffee at Ms. Kag's Bakery." she folds her arms.

He clinches his fist, he said, trying to keep his cool, "fine... would you like anything else to go with your coffee?!?"

"uhm.. now that you mention it.. i think i want some cookies to go with my coffee..." she smiled at him, "the cookies at Ms. Kag's Bakery... white chocolate only! I can't eat chocolate chip cookies, it gives me stomachs."

Sit's eyes widen, "Are you serious?!"

"you offered... you don't want to be a bad assistant now... not keeping to your words... that's not good... not good at all... i might have to report this..." she pulls out a paper & begins to write.

"hey.. wh... what are you doing?"

"writing a report... what does it look it???" she looks up.

"I said i was gonna go get them for you! don't need to bring my dad into this."

Sai laughed, "okay then, it's settled, i want my cookies & my coffee..."

Sit forced a smile, "okay Ms. I'll get your cookies & coffee..." he heads for the door.

"Wait...!" Sai shouted, "I want it here in 15 minutes. right now it's 9:10... so you have to be back by 9:20..." she smiles to herself.

"15 minutes?! it's not possible! Ms Kag's Bakery is on the other side of town! it already takes 10 minutes to get there!" he shouts.

"I don't care. you better find a way to bring them to me in 15 minutes. I don't care if you have to fly... bring me my cofffee!!" she slams her hand on the desk.

"Fine Fine!" he shouts back & left the office, "she's out of her mind!!! Dad why!?!" he thought to himself.

Sai looks at her watch, 9:20, he still not here.

BANG BANG. Someone was at the door.

"Come in, it's not locked."

Sit breathes heavily, trying to catch his breath, "here's... here's... your... coffee... coffee & cookies..." he puts them on her desk.

She crosses her arms & examines the coffee & cookies, " i can't drink this..." she said.

Sit's eyes widen, still trying to catch his breath, "wha... whattt?! wh.. why n-nnott??" he stuttered.

"I asked for cold coffee ..." Sai points to the coffee, "not hot."

Sit's face began to boil with anger, "Why didn't you tell me what kind of coffee you wanted!?" he shouted.

"Who said i didn't tell you?! I did tell you!!" she lied to him, "It's not my fault you didn't listen to my instruction."

"YOU said you wanted COFFEE & COOKIES! that was it! you didn't tell me anything about what kind of coffee!" Sit walks behind her desk.

Sai jumps out of her seat, "what.. what are you doing?!" she yelps.

"Getting scared...?" he asked, taking a step closer.

Sai takes a step back, "n-noo-nooo...." she stuttered.

"Then why are you backing up..?" he chuckled.

"w-wh--who said i was backing up..??" Sai turns around getting ready to run but he grabbed her hand & pulled her closer to him, til their bodies touched one another, her arms laid on his chest.

Their eyes meet for a split second.

Sai could smell the scent of his cologne, the one he wore since high school, she still remembers his scent. She inhaled deeply, taking in the familiar scent of his. She could hear him breathing softly.

Sit felt her warmth body onto his. He noticed she had a fresh scent of perfume, one he's never smelled before. He was quite fond of it. He could feel her heart beating against his body.

"Let me go Sithra!!" she tried to get away from his grip but he held her tight.

"Isn't this what you always wanted...? for me to hug you close like this? isn't this want you want???" he asked. she tried to push him away but he wouldn't let go.

"You are out of your mind! I don't want this!! You're the last person i want!" she shouted trying to push him away, but his muscular arms were wrapped so tight around hers, like a snake killing its prey.

Sit chuckles, "dont lie.. you know you want me... i can see it in your eyes.." he looks down at her, watching her fidget.

"Are you gonna let me go or not??" She asked.

"Read my lips... NO" he said, still holding on to her.

"Fine... then" Sai said. She tried to push him away one last time but he wouldn’t let go so she stomps on his foot.

"owww.... owww.. ouch!!" he screams.

Sai pushes him.

"Take that asshole!" Sai shouts laughing at him limp in pain.

"you crazy bitch!" he whisper.

"Go back to your desk! & if i ever catch you passing this trash can," sai place the trash can on the right side of her desk, "you will get it..." Sai grabs a pencil up & breaks it in half, "... just like this pencil... i promise you..." sai said.

Sit limps back to his desk, still angry at what she had done.

"Just you wait..." he thought to himself, clinching his fist.

Chapter 26: Jane, Panu


It's been 2 months since i've been working for stupid Sai-glok & everyday she makes it hell for me. She'll make me do her errands, from picking up her dry clean, to washing her car, to getting her coffee in the morning, to keeping me late at work, piling work on me at the last minute. She'll make me buy her food that she doesn't even eat! She is making me lose my mind! I can't take it! I’m going to die young because of her!

The more i see her the more i start to her & the more i am glad i made her life in high school miserable. She deserves it. I hate the way she talks, the way her voice sound, the way she laughs, the way she walks. I hate everything about her. I dread waking up in the moring, because i know i'm going to have to see her face, be in the same office as her & talk to her. I wish my life would end already!

I'm so glad Jane works there. She's such a nice person & she's pretty inside & out. Our conversations are always interesting, she keeps me excited & is always willing to listen to me vent. That's probably the only thing i look forward to when i work, seeing Jane. She brightens up my day when Sai-glok ruins it.

It's been 2 months on the job & I'm loving what it has done to me! It's helping me get my revenge on Sithra. I'm making him do whatever comes to mind, from picking up my dry clean, to keeping him late at work, to piling works on him, making him buy food i can't eat. Oh this is the life.

But i've noticed that Sit & Jane have been getting close in the past months. Whenever she comes to my office, her & Sithra are always conversating as if they're boyfriend & girlfriend. It makes me wonder what is going on between the two. I'm not jealous or anything, it's just i want to know why all the sudden they're close. What does she possibly have that i don't have? I'm pretty as her. I got the curves, the but, the boobies. what does he see in her?? She might be beautiful, but it seems that all she got! I don't know but i need to get in between the two of them. I can't let Sithra find happiness, i just can't.

"Sithra, where are the folders i told you to look at?" Sai was standing in front his his desk with her hands to her hips.

"What folders?" he asked, not turning away from the computer screen.

"the folder with the finances, the one i told you to look at." she replied.

"oh i gave them to Jane." Sai's eyes widen.

"oh.. jane..." Sai whispers under her breath.

"Why does she have it?" Sai asked, getting annoying.

"Because i gave them to give to your dad. After we're done looking at the folders i'm suppose to give to your dad." Sit said, not looking at her.

"Fine, i'll tell Jane to bring them to me." Sai walks back to her desk, "Jane, can you please bring me the finance folder from June? Thank you."

Sai looked at Sit, who was still busy typing up the documents.

knock knock.

"Come in Jane" Sai shouts.

"here are the folders you asked for." Jane smiled at her.

"Thank you Jane. you can go now." Sai points to the door.

"Hey Jane, Are you ready tonight?" Sit asked Jane.

Sai looked at Jane & Sit from the corner of her eyes.

"Oh yes I am, I can't wait! It's gonna be so much fun!" Jane Said.

"ready for tonight? wait for what? so much fun?? what is going on?" Sai pretended to read the documents in the folder.

"It will be fun, i promise you. I'll give you a call after i get off work okay." Sit smiled at Jane.

"Okay, I gotta go back to work. I'll see you tonight." Jane smiles & walked out the door.

Sit noticed that Sai was pretending to read & he just smiled to himself.

"where are they going?? What are they gonna do together??" Sai asked herself, feeling paranoid.

"Ahem.." Sit cleared his throat.

"huh? What..?" Sai asked.

"do you wanna know where I'm taking Jane tonight??" He asked Sai.

"No... I don't care where you take her. She's none of my business & so are you. You two can go get lost somewhere for all i care." Sai respond, trying to be cool.

"You sure you don't want to know??" Sit asked, smiling.

"yes, i'm sure" Sai replied not looking up at him.

"I'll tell you anyways. I'm taking her on a romantic date tonight on the ferry. Jane’s always wanted to go & I think it’s the best time to go. She’s never been on a ship before either." Sit replied.

Sai stop reading the documents & froze. Her heart dropped.

"What..? you like Jane or what? why are you taking her on a romantic date?" Sai asked, trying not to sound mad or jealous.

"Well you know.. it's been 2 months since me & May broke up & Jane has been real understanding & she's a nice person, unlike some people," sai looked at him, "So i'm taking her out." Sit smiled at Sai.

"& you're telling me because..?" Sai asked.

"Just letting you know. No particular reason really, just wanted you to know." he smiled.

"You stupid asshole, why are you telling me this? do you think you're gonna break me by going out with another chick? never!" sai thought to herself, not looking up at Sit.

"Okay, well you told me already now what? you want a cookie for your nice deed or what?" she asked him, gettting irritated.

"You sure you're not...jealous?" Sit asked her & he could see that she was avoiding eye contacts.

"Me? Jealous? yeah right... keep dreaming." Sai felt her heart beating faster.

"What's wrong with me?! Why is my heart beating all crazy!" she asked herself.

The phone rings & it surprised Sai.

Sit laughed.

"he.. hello? Saiphon speaking? oh... okay i'll be there in 10 minutes.

"We have a meeting in 10 minutes. So go get my coffee ready & meet in the meeting room when you're done." She said to Sit.

Sit heads out the door. After Sit left, Sai said to herself, "Me? Jealous? please.. never..." she grits her teeth & clinches her fist.

The meeting room was packed with people. This meeting was an important one. Dad said there’s going to be a new Vice President for the Hotel, which should help a lot. He's a wealthy man & the way he does business is amazing, so dad tells me.

"okay, okay settle down... Mr. Panu Rangit [Oil T is him :) ] should be here any minute. He's stuck in traffic." Sai's dad said.

Sai was siting next to her dad. To the left of her was Sit & sitting next to Sit was Jane. Sai noticed they were talking really close with one another. She was getting annoyed with the two of them.

Within a few minutes, a man in a black suit with & a blue tie walks through the meeting room door, Mr. Panu Rangit.

Mr. Rangit & Sai's eye met for a few second.

"That man... why does he look so familiar to me... it's like i've seen him somewhere before or know him from somewhere..." sai thought to herself, not taking her eyes off him.

Then he smiled to her. Her memories came rushing back to her, "Prom Night..." she whisper under her breath.

"What? did you say something?" Sit asked her.

"huh? oh no.. I didn’t say anything .." she said.

"we finally do meet again..." she said to herself, still staring at Mr. Rangit, "i wonder if he still remembers me..."

An hour later the meeting was finally over with. An agreement was reached & Mr. Rangit was going to becoming the Vice President of the Sai's dad's hotel.

Everybody was gathering their things & leaving the meeting room. Sit had left the meeting with Jane.

Sai stayed because her dad wanted to introduce the two of them.

"Mr. Rangit, this is my daughter, Saiphon" her dad introduced them.

"Hi, Mr Rangit, it's nice to finally meet you again." Sai held out her hand, still staring at him.

"Same goes to you Saiphon." He smiles.

"You two know each other?" her dad asked, looking confused.

"oh we met by accident a few years back" Mr. Rangit replied.

"ohh, i see. isn't it a small world!� her dad replied, chuckling loudly.

"Yes, it sure is... sure is dad." Sai was still smiling at Sikrit.

"Okay well then, i'll leave you two talk." her dad smiled at Sai & walked off.

"Wow... this is really a surprise, Mr. Rangit." Sai said, still smiling & feeling like a little girl again.

"Please, call me Panu & it really is a pleasant surprise. I didn't think i'll ever get to see you again." He smiled at Sai, feeling nervous, "So did you get inside your house safely after i drop you off?"

"Oh what?� Sai asked confusingly, “oh.. you mean, from that one night? Yes, yes I did, my parents were dead asleep! they still don't know what happen. I never told them… don't want them to get worry." She giggled.

"Don’t worry, your secret’s safe with me.� He held up 3 fingers as a boy scout honor . “

“I really do owe you for helping me out that night. if it weren't for you, i wouldn't be here." she looked down at her feet, "so i was wondering.... is it okay if treat you to dinner as a thank you treat?" She asked shyly.

He chuckles, "Sure, i have no problem with that. It will also give us a chance to catch up on the old days." he smiled.

"Okay, Let's meet at the ... Ahloy Resturant [Very Good Resturant] at around 7? is that okay?" Sai asked him.

"that's fine with me. Can i have your number so i can give you a call?" he chuckled, scratching his head.

"oh i'm sorry, i almost forget..." She takes out her phone & gives him her number & she got his number too.

They parted ways after shaking hands & saying goodbye.

Sai heads to her office, still smiling about Panu.

"I can't believe we finally meet again!" she smiled to herself as she sits back down at her desk.

Sit walks in a few moments after her, & Jane followed behind him.

Sai's smile turned into a frown, "these two again..." she whisper.

Jane was carrying some folders for him.

"thank you again Jane, you're a real helper" Sit said to him.

"No problem, I'm glad to help. Well i better get back to work. I'll see you tonight. Bye Sai" Jane walks out the door.

"So is Jane your girlfriend now?" Sai asked, not looking at him, pretending to read the finance documents.

"Huh? Me & Jane? No.. not yet..." Sit smiles.

"Not yet?!.." Sai said to herself

"So when are you planning to make her your girlfriend? So I can warn her about what an asshole you really are." She looked up at him & smiled.

"You jealous aren't you?" Sit chuckles

"Me? Jealous! No way! of Jane?! Never..." Sai said nervously.

"If you're jealous, no need to hide it..." he walks closer to her desk, "It's okay to be jealous..." he looked down at her, smiling.

Sai gets up from her chair, "Look, I have no reason to be jealous. I just want to warn her about what an ass you really are so she will know ahead of time & you won't break her heart."

"You asshole..." Sai said to herself. "you can't break me... I won't give in..."

"ha... ha... alright... alright... if you say so. You aren't jealous, then you aren't jealous. I can see it in your face though…. you're avoiding my eye contact. You're hiding the truth because you know that i will never get with you & you're jealous that i'm taking interest in Jane & when in reality, you want it to be you..." he said to her.

"There you ago again, being a cocky asshole. Look... I don't care who you date & for your information, I don't like you. I'm not jealous & i don't want you. Yes, I did like you at one point, but now... i can't stand you.. so whatever you do or whoever you do, that's all on you because i don't give a damn!" she shouted.

"That's fine with me! because i can't stand seeing your face! I can't stand working with you!" he shouted back at her, putting his hands on her desk & moving in closer.

"& one more thing... I will do things to Jane.... just watch... I'm gonna make you envy her because i know deep down, you really wish you were here right now. you wish i was giving you the attention i give to Jane... but let me tell you.. it will never happen... I promise..." Sai balled her hand up in to a fist.

Sit walks back to his desk & began finishing his work.

"Sit... you will get yours... once again i promise..."

Chapter 27: Dinner Night Out, Painful Memories


"Who does he think he is??" Sai paces back & forth in her room. "Thinking that i'm jealous! Psh... He just wish i was... Jane isn't all that pretty anyhow...." Sai crosses her arms.

"Ugh.. I"m not jealous... I'm not! I.. I.. I just don't want girl to get hurt like i did... that's all..." she sits on her bed.

" why am i stressing over this then...?" Sai lays down thinking of what Sithra said to her.

"Why am I still thinking about you!? Why??? I"m suppose to be getting you back but why are you always one step ahead...! ughhh.... I hate this!" She put a pillow over her face & screamed in it.

"Who cares if you're taking Jane on a stupid Ferry, I don't care! Take her! She's not all that pretty anymore! If you want her take! I don't care! I hate you!!" She screams in her pillow. Her heart began beating faster & faster.

She got up & open the drawer & took out the gift from Sithra. She held it in her hand.

Her phone rings, It's Panu calling. Sai's frustration suddenly went away.

"He.. hello?" Sai said, feeling her heart beating 10 times faster.

"Saiphon? It's Panu. Did you still want to go out to dinner?" He asked nervously.

"Oh of course, i still own you. I can't back out now!" she giggles, "I'll get ready & I'll meet you there, let's say around 8 at the Ahloy Resturant, is that okay?"

"Yesh that's fine. I'll give you a call when i'm on my way there."

"Okay then, i'll see you there." she smiled & hung up her cell.

"eekkkk! i can't believe we finally meet again! He's so sexy..." she lays back down, she had a smile from ear to ear.

"oh shoot! i gotta get ready!" she jumps out of bed, dropping the pink bracelet on the floor. She kicked it under her bed, unaware that she had dropped

"I'm gonna make her jealous... jealous out of her mind." Sit sits at his desk in his room. "So far it's working. I'm gonna make her wish she never messed with me."

He gets up & walks back & forth, "I'm gonna prove it to her... just watch. She wants me so badly, i can see it in her eyes. She was jealous of Jane today, how pathetic is that... She is a loser. So no wonder she doesn't have a boyfriend... she's a lame ass..."

His phone rings, startling him.

"he hello? Jane?" Sit said almost dropping his phone.

"Hi Sit, what time did you want to go to dinner?" Jane asked.

"uhm... it's 7:00 right now... let's go around 7:30." Sit said, checking his watch.

"Okay, that's fine."

"I'll give you a call when i'm done." Sit said hanging up on Jane.

"I'll worry about you later Sai-glok..."

It's 8:20

Sit & Jane ended up being late & missed the ferry ride. It was the last time the ferry was going out for a drive.

"I'm sorry Sithra, I didn't know my mom was coming over." Jane said, feeling guilty.

"It's okay... you're mom's really nice by the way. Don't worry about it, there's always next time." Sit said, feeling down because he really wanted to go on the ferry.

"We don't have to go on a ferry ride, we can just to a restaurant that's near the beach. How about Ahloy Restaurant, that restaurant is my favorite." Jane said smiling at him.

"We can do that." Sit drives to Ahloy Restaurant.

The place was beautiful, there was pianist & singer in the front of the stage. There was a small dance floor. It was very classic, old fashion, type of restaurant.

Sit helped Jane in her seat. He walks back to his seat when he looked up & saw Saiphon with some man. They had just arrived. He was handing her a bouquet of roses. She was smiling & he was too.

"Sithra...? are you gonna sit?" Jane interrupted Sit.

"huh? oh yeah, right." Sit pulls out his chair & takes a seat.

"who were you staring at?" Jane asked turning her head to see Saiphon, "hey, it's Saiphon with some guy…Who is he? he looks familiar.." Jane looked.

"I don't know & I don't care" Sithra said looking down at the table.

"hey wait! It's Mr. Panu Rangit! The guy from the meeting today! the new VP...� Jane said with a confused look on her face, “but why is she with him??" still looking at the two.

"Panu Rangit... why is she with him.?" Sit look over at Sai & Panu once more, "why are they together... oh i guess that's how he became the VP... but sleeping with the daughter... how sleezy of her..." he chuckles, "I should've known she was a little hoe..." he shook his head.

"Don't pay attention to them." Sithra said to Jane, as she turned back around to look at the menu.

Sit was looking at her from a distance.

Sai looked at the roses Panu gave to her, "these are gorgeous... how did you know pink was my favorite color?" she asked.

"I asked your dad..." he said shyly.

Sai smiled at him, still surprised that he's the guy who helped her out.

"So tell me," Sai said, "how are you & how have you been since we last met?" She looked at him, feeling the jitters in her stomach.

"I am 29 years old & I've been doing pretty good since we last met." he chuckles & gave her a smile.

"Oh... his smile just makes my heart melts..." Sai thought to herself.

"29 years old? oh wow, you're younger than i thought!" she said.

Panu's eyebrow raised, "oh? how old did you think i was when we first met?"

" i thought you were at least 29 then!" she laughs.

"i'm not that old now..." he laughs.

"Now you're turn," Panu said taking a sip of his wine, "on the night we met, what happen to you exactly?"

Sai froze when he heard those words. She looked up at him, hesitant to tell him the truth.

"Just tell him Sai! he's gonna be the VP for the hotel! he's a trustworthy guy! he saved your life!" She said to herself.

"Well, it's a long story... are you sure you want to hear it?" Sai asked. She hasn't told anyone this story, she's kept it inside for so long. She doesn't have any real friends. Her parents are the closest thing to being her friends.

"Yes, i would like to know. You were hurt pretty badly... I don't know who would be cruel enough to harm anyone to that extent." Panu said.

"Okay... here goes, that night you saved me I was at my senior prom. I went with a guy who had a girlfriend. Ky parents & my date's parents wanted us to go together so they agreed that we would go to prom together." Sai stop to catch her breath.

Panu just nodded his head.

"So i went to prom with another girl's boyfriend, who was also a family friend. She saw me at prom & she started to pick a fight. She told me she wanted to speak in private so i followed her down to the beach. She had her boyfriend, which was my date, with her & her friends & also my date's friend too. So once we got to the beach, she said i was stealing her boyfriend, & that's when she started attacking me." Sai looked down on the table.

"oh wow..." Panu replied.

"So she just started slapping me, pulling my hair. the whole time her friends were taking pictures & recording the whole incident."

"What did your date do?" Panu asked, very interested in the story.

" He didn't do anything, he just watched." Sai's heart sank thinking about the situation again.

"What?! That asshole..." Panu said clinching his fist.

"So the girlfriend was beating me up, & she had me beg for my life, while the cameras were rolling & just when they were gonna let me go, I attacked her from behind."

Panu smiled at the fact that she was defending herself, "There you go!" he said.

My date seen that i was attacking her & he got in the middle. He grabbed me by the waist & toss me in the sand & I ended up landing in a weird position, that was why i was limping when i tried to get out of bed at the hotel." she said, feeling sadness all over again.

"Wow... i'm really sorry about that... Your date’s a real asshole. If I find out who he is, I’ll kick his ass for you." he said, feeling her pain.

Sai chuckles nervously, “you already have... he’s my secretary…� she said to herself still smiling, "I'm getting past it though, i hardly think it about it now a days," she lied to him.

"That's good. You shouldn't be thinking about it anyhow. People can be so cruel." He shook his head.

"Tell me about it. Everybody hated me in high school..." Sai said, remembering her high school experience.

Panu's eyebrow raised, "You gotta be joking! You are too nice… & gorgeous… & loving… how could people not like you?"

Sai shrugs, "I really don't know. I was always teased in high school, i didn't have any friends in high school, the only person i actually knew was my prom date, i always stayed in the library & did my homework or read a book." Sai laughed.

"I find that hard to believe..." Panu stares at Sai, smiling.

"It's true... it's true... i was a joke to everybody. a nerd, a dork, a geek." she said, her sadness soon turned into anger.

"You wanna know something?" Panu asked, "I know how it feels to be teased in high school because i use to be teased in high school."

Sai's eyes widen, "you? teased? No way..."

Panu nodded his head, "it's true. I use to. I was nerd too, the geek & the dork. I didn't have much friends, I spend my days at school in the library & on prom, i was asked to prom by this gorgeous girl, she was the popular girls, she ended up embarrassing me at prom."

Sai's heart just melted, "wow... that is so crazy... we have so much in common..." she smiled at him, feeling the butterflies in her stomach kicking in.

"We are very much alike" he smiled at her.

"could he be the one i've been waiting for...?" sai asked herself.

Panu & Sai the next hour talking about anything & everything they could think about. Just then Sai heard her favorite song play: Mint - Ruk Ter Tee Soot. [love you the most]

"Awee.. this is my favorite song!" Sai's face lights up.

Panu looks at her, happy to see her smile again, "would you like to dance?" He gets up of his seat & held out one hand, gesturing her to go to the dance floor.

Sai smiled & placed her hand into his. They walk towards the dance floor. He wrapped his arms around her waist, Sai didn’t know what to or where to place her hands. Panu Took one of her hand & placed it around his neck. Sai then wrapped her arms around his neck, she was trying to avoid his eye contact. She felt a tingling sensation run down her spin, she was all smiles, her heart beating faster & faster.

"you know… this is the first time i've ever dance with a guy..." Sai said shyly.

Panu chuckles, "there's a first time for everything," he looks down at her & smiles.

"ahhhh… this can’t be happening… is this a dream??? His eyes are just dreamy " she said to herself.

Sai laid her head back down on his chest, still smiling.

From a distance, Sit was watching her.

"How lame... look at her dance with him... she doesn't even know the guy.." Sit said to himself, feeling his face get hotter & hotter.

"awe, they are dancing now," she was referring to Sai & Panu, "they sure do make a cute couple... Don’t you think so Sithra?� Jane asked without taking her eyes off Sai & Panu slow dance.

Sit looks away, not wanting to see Sai. He pours some more wine into his glass & began to drink.

Sit didn’t respond to Jane’s question, “What the hell is she doing? Dancing with him? Does she think I’ll get jealous??? Psh…. Keep dreaming Sai-glok!� Sit chugs down the rest of his wine & poor some more

"I don't care if you're with some other guy... i don't give a damn...!" he whispers under his breath, as he drank his wine.

“Sithra, maybe you should slow down on the wine... You’re drinking way too much...� Jane said with a worry tone.

Sit, however, didn’t hear Jane, he kept his eyes on Sai & Panu, watching them dance closely & smile at one another.

“You can’t win Saiphon… I won’t let you…� he whisper under his breath, he grip tighter & tighter onto the glass of wine, his throat became dry, his heart beating faster, his face feeling hot & red.
