my favorite graphic novel of all time is "ranma 1/2" ....i was so obsess over it during my early teen. i spend $$ on vhs , graphic novel , t-shirt, poster, scroll, toys...love my collection of it...so crazy over it ...love it..ranma&akane forever

I love ranma 1/2 too! I've seen the anime for countless times already...^_^ can't get enough of ranma and akane! I think it would be nice if they would make a live-action drama of this one...

it really is LADYOFDARKNESS~! i collect shounen-ai mangas... i wanna see beautiful men on mangas than reading shojo-ai mangas.

shounen= boy
shojo= girl

if you put bi on shounen [BISHOUNEN] it means beautiful boy/pretty boy... same goes with putting bi on shojo [bishojo] means beautiful girl/ pretty girl. "midnight secretary" is a shojo-ai story type...

I love ranma 1/2 too! I've seen the anime for countless times already...^_^ can't get enough of ranma and akane! I think it would be nice if they would make a live-action drama of this one...

ahhhh..SarN dont tell me you have the complete set of ranma 1/2...this was the anime that i told you that i never got to finish..back in my high school years..please tell me you do...i would watch it all over again starting from the beginning..since i dont remember where i had left off at...

i cant wait to read bout this "midnight secretary" one...from the drawings you showed me about a week ago...i fell in love with the guy in the drawing LMAO the girl is pretty too.

bellefire the pictures of the guys in the tuxes are all so mesmerizing esp the one in the glasses...there is something bout that pic ... so mysterious!!!

u can find it ebay . but during my time was VHS hahaha ...i got the dvd later and back den i was buying the graphic novel ( it wasn't call manga in American back then LMAO ...feel old ) ...gosh , soo many collected item of them ...

lol... Hideaki is a bitch guy in that story... but to all of them i like so much.

yup, the japanese comics label their anime as "manga" because it simply mean "manga" means comics. then they branded it and so the whole world is familiar with MANGA... heeheehee.... im collecting anime too (FA students rockz~!)... and i have my own artwork of shounen...

this is one is one of my artworks last year... he's name is EDA (means a branch of a tree)

dont get confuse, its a guy.... and one of the characteristics of shounen animes are the reason why they are called BIshounen is because the pretty boys of the anime has androgynous looks...

i used to draw them anime pics too..too bad after i drew em..i would hang it..and now its like gone...its been over ten yrs...
hmm...if i ever happen to stumble upon it..i will scan it later..but i doubt i will find it..i will prolly just have to draw some new ones..like of the director guy in midnight secretary... gosh i still cant believed we can fall for the animated guys too...

cool! i cant' draw . actually most anime guy look pretty HHAHAHHA ! They all skinnny and super tall than the girls . I think around 99' is when i start calling the graphic novel i read "manga" . But during my pre-teen it had alway been graphic novel and anime . American start importing more anime&manga in 2000 cuz before that i get all my Japaneses thing thru those catalog booklet that advertise in those anime vhs and Media Play was probable the first America store that carry anime&manga i was excited back than and spend $$$ untill the world of internet explode and we have fan sub & scan translate ..my history in a nutshell

I wish I could also draw like that... T_T I've tried drawing anime before but the outcome would always look weird so I stopped... I'm still collecting anime stuff until now...especially action figures... I've been so addicted to Fushigi Yuugi before and I've even turned my room into a Fushigi Yuugi mini-shrine! my room was filled of posters and wall scrolls but my mom got mad at me 'coz most of the pictures that I hung in my room are almost nude pictures of Miaka and Tamahome so I have to take it all off... -_-

omg donna ur a fan of fushigi yugi.. eeeeeeeeeeeek me too .. im freaken waitin for the genbu kaiden volumes atm .. hahaha.. i got my sis addicrted kekeke n last nite we watched the first ep after so many years n im just like DAMN... the good memories hehehe ... xp .. lalalalaa..

fushigi yuugi !! yes, i like dat anime ! That was soo in the late 90's hahaha . I love adventure/comedy type of manga/anime . When Pokemon came out i was crazy over it and i LOVE the collectible card game ..play it all the time with the kids ...alway beat their little butt ( i was 20 years old & they were 13 lmao...) ... I even went to a Pokemon Card Game Tournament and the 10th Anniversary Pokemon in 2006 . Humm...o' at the Anime Convention i dress up as Sailor Mar...soo funnie this year .. i think i want to be Shampoo from Ramna 1/2 haha

oh, yes.... the shounen features are always like that... actually, this is not the only anime i've drew... i have 4 portfolios of my anime version. i think i adapt the anime style of Ai Yazawa (famous manga animator, the one who made the NANA, PARADISE KISS and so on) i have her mangas and i always read it and watch some of them... maybe because Ai was a fashionista, she applies her being fashionista in her anime. but i get upset through her ending stories of her anime... she always leave it hanging, but i still admire her animes. the one thing i adapt from her is her drawing has always long-pointed chin and slender body... lol.... and im always a fan of gothic animes. thats why i love ai yazawa's art so much. btw, i never stop liking anime... i always like it and prefer to watch it with my friends and we imitate them, in our freehand drawing class (because im a fine arts student) all of us are like not listening to our professor anymore... because we are busy talking about animes. asian series is my own pleasure because i wanna watch different kinds of asian dramas, my friends dont quite appreciate it... because they're bunch of OTAKUS. so im just having my own desires in asian series.

yup yup!! I've seen ayashi no ceres... Touya was sooooo HOT!!! and also Yuuhi and Aki.. but I love Touya more... :wub: fushigi yuugi and ayashi no ceres were both made by Yuu Watase, right?

my brother is also addicted to pokemon esp the card game! I was only addicted to anime but him, his addicted to everything related to pokemon!! he's actually watching pokemon right now...I can hear it from his room...
