I am trying hard to find one, this one is an old Chinese movie, I can't remember the title. But the main little girl in there is called Sao Ti, lives with a rich family, has a nanny to watch her, her mother is a cheater and doesn't love her and father is a high authority man, who is successful. But later on in the movie, her mother beats her up for telling her father of what she her mother did so she runs of to an old friend/who she calls Mrs. Wang, and this Mrs. Wang tries to confront her, but hten Mrs. Wang's son came in and told his mom to tell Sao Ti the truth, and Mrs. Wang didn't want to but Sao Ti begged and begged, so Mrs. Wang told her that those aren't her real parents, she told her that they brought her from rich dad's friend, bc they couldn't have children, so she then decides to go on a search for her real parents, she was in a red fancy long coat, and at the end found her real dad, but found out that she has a older sister, and a step mom and half little brother. Her older sister tells her that they're mom had passed away and the dad was very suprised to see her. There's more to the movie, I can remember it well, but I just can't seem to remember the title of the movie. If any of you guys know this movie that I am talking about, please PLEASE let me know. I have been on a search for it for a long long time.
Love this movie...the hmong title is "Lub Neej Tsis Muaj Niam"..i do have it on vhs wish i can share it but i dunno how to rip it onto a comp/laptop....

I dont' remember the hmong title but the thai title is Douy Rang Athitarn, there is a 2011 remake of his lakorn, but the version with Kob S. and Saranyu, it was dub by Bi-Vision, the voices werent the best but the voice-acting was great! Man, til this day I still bow down to the women who dubbed for Kob's stepmother in this version, she sounds so vicious. argh! it is so good!!! I don't see them selling this lakorn anymore either.
I think the Hmong title was called "Mam Hlub Lwm Tiam" or something like that...and the last time i check i think i still saw them for sell at LongCheng Market in Sacramento....I think i also saw them for sell at Phooj Ywj Lee's Market and Marysville, California as well (can't be sure). I love the movie but hated the dubbed voiced. Another good one also dubbed by Bi-Vision was Samee, "Kev Hlub Yuam Tau Meej Mom" or something like that.

and talking about hmong dubbed voices back in the days that are good....omg...I am so in love with the voice of the guy that always dubbed for the p'ek/leading guy with Sky Production....i think he has most sexiest voice ever...sucks that I don't hear/see that production dubbing dramas anymore...I also love the p'ek/leading guy dubbed for S.T. Universal back in the days, I think his name was Tua Lee or something like that, he dubbed for P'Lee in the drama P'Lee and N'Da.....LOL "Cog Lus Tseg" with Mam Jintara and Num Santisook...

I agree with you all, I do not want to meet the faces behind the voices. I prefer to just match that sexy voice with the faces of the p'ek they dubbed for...lol. Usually the face behind the voice will often end up being a disappointment and then it kills the voice for me..lol. I've seen many radio host that have great voices, but when i see them in person or see pictures of them, the face behind the voice just does not match the voice and then it kills the voice for me and I just can't enjoy the voice as much as I had before I knew what the individual behind the voice really looks like. I prefer to just live with my fantasy that the voice belongs to the actor that they are dubbing for ;-)

I have an all time favorite, it's either a japanese or chinese movie dubbed called Rooj Tshoob Teev Kua Muag. It's about a rich guy who owns a peach farm and he falls in love with a poor girl who works there. His dad dissapproves of this, so he and the girl ran away to have a life on their own. Until the end where the dad finally accepts the girl as his daughter in law, but she was really sick. She died at their wedding, just at the end, and I cried so much.

My all time favorite India movie is Qaug Rau Kev Hlub and this one with the main guy's name called Kaus Hnub, I love these so much. Qaug Rau Kev Hlub is about a guy and a girl who fell in love while they were in Europe because they missed the train. Kaus Hnub is about a boy who was born with the abilities of communicating with animals.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention Ntshaw Lub Tsev Sov Siab, about the main guy's mom being a b**** and he had to find someone to teach his mother a lesson which was main girl.

You guys pretty much named all those rare Hmong dubbed movies back in the days that I know of. I sincerely wish someone would sell them again on DVD because I for one would purchase them!

I'd say, out of ALL the dubbing productions, Txhais Lus Production and ST Universal Video are the TOP two. There are some other great ones too, but none can match the quality of words in these two. Ntuj Fwm Koob and Xub Thoj were awesome, in terms of voicing and producing dubbed movies.
