They changed so much. Personally I prefer Pete and Mam's version since their chemistry was sizzling, the plot is more organized and their romance development was better. The first one was kind of jumpy and all over the place and the leads had so little scenes together. The best thing about Jakkrit and Jariya's version was a scene between the leads was when he would help tutor her while they were married.

There are two versions to this lakorn, the storylines differ.

First version is: P'ek pays n'ek to be his wife to keep women from chasing after him and n'ek needs a place to stay since her step father is always trying to rape her. N'ek tries to leave p'ek one day and p'ek rapes her to keep her with him. Things go south and n'ek still leaves him and p'ek is sleeping with the drug lord's daughter to get information about the drug trade going on and is kidnapped and turned into a drug addict one day. N'ek thinks her stepfather is her biological father but later finds out that he played a part in her father's death. Her sister who was constantly hounded by the stepfather becomes a successful actress and leaves the house. N'ek may or may not be pregnant and the lakorn never really elaborates on her symptoms. N'ek is named toilet by her stepfather who says that as a woman she is a like a toilet in front of the house. N'ek is taken in to be a spy for the drug trade.

Second version: P'ek handcuffs himself to n'ek and he loses the key which forces them to spend the night together. The villagers begin to gossip about p'ek and n'ek so p'ek has to marry her to save her from being victim to gossip. P'ek rapes n'ek when he gets jealous that n'ek's best friend's brother takes an interest in her and n'ek taunts him about the brother being a good lover. N'ek thinks she is pregnant but it turns out someone switched her urine sample and she really isn't. N'ek's sister is raped by the stepfather in this version and spends most of the lakorn pregnant with his baby as he beats her constantly to keep her mouth shut and accuse her of sleeping around. In this version they reveal that the n'ek is named toilet because her father was killed by her stepfather and his body was put in one and her mom names her that to remember that incident. N'ek is taken to be a spy for the drug trade.

Wow wtf so in both versions n'ek gets raped and the step-father is an abusive asshole to the family of the guy he murdered? Idk if I can handle that bs unless the n'ek makes p'ek suffer a lot after and the step dad dies by the end. Does he? Because that's the only way he's getting anything close to forgiveness from me.

Yeah, both versions has it’s flaws. I like the original version because of the actors, but yeah the leads didnt have much romance scenes and a few scenes wasn’t answered. I hope they take out the r scene and add in a willing scene to this remake.

It's 2018, I guarantee there is a 99.9% chance the rape will be turned into a willing. I think Maker J is attached to this project and considering they took out the rapes for all the remakes they've had, it's safe to say there will be none. Nowadays there is only rape if the p'ek is drunk. Plus, the rape scene totally doesn't fit into this lakorn, it always felt out of place in both the versions in the past since this is pretty much a comedy lakorn. I hope they make the p'ek less of a man whore in this remake, I hated how he slept with the evil chick just for the sake of gaining info during pillow talk.

Okay, so it was comedy? See that's what thought until I read the full the synopses and then I was thrown for a loop because everything seemed too sad for it to be a comedy. I imagine you're right and they'll do away with the rape scene. And yeah it'd be nice if the p'ek didn't use sex to get information lol

Yeah it's a comedy despite the dark sub plot with the step dad and the raping. The n'ek is hilarious because of her foul mouth and antics prevent her mom's gambling joint from getting caught by the police.

Literally what I was thinking too lol. If all "Maker" groups are the same then there will not be any sexual assault aspect in this remake (Thank God !!!).

Honestly I can't imagine Margie in any raeng/dark dramas. Haha. She is comedy to me. So her getting raped. . . ? I imagine her fighting back. Haha.

Kao & Great age difference kind of kills their pairing for me tbh.

I'm happy for Kao if she gets to be lead, but I agree the age difference would kind of kill it for me. It could go two ways, like Ken T and Namtarn (a pairing I heard people actually liked) or Great and Nychaa (which honestly just watching clips alone made me kinda cringe lol).

Ken and Namtarn were hawt! That is one pair I greatly approved, oddly. Hahahaha. Up until Noon, Namtarn was Ken's best nang'ek in terms of looks.
