I like the same lakorns as you Mannie so we are similar haha. I like lots of nam naos but not like the super extreme ones lol. I recently like actions a lot though and find them better than some dramas. ONLY sometimes though lolz. Dramas are still my go to.

Since I know lakorns, i dropped kdrama and chinese dramas haha. I always i get bored and ended dropping it.

Never like Kdrama nor Chinese ones except The heavenly sword and dragon slaying sabre. Zhang Wuji and Zhao Min. My favorite actors who played Wuji's role are Tony L; Alex, and the last one was Joseph Z.....

Chinese dramas are so cheesy, i can’t stand it. The only kdrama i’m watching now is Penthouse 2. It’s great, haha. But Lakorns are from me, haha.

I like nam nao to a certain extent....there is still that audiences but I feel the majority of people....thai ppl who aren't interested as much. Look at the ratings.

Action lakorns always does well...lakorn with pra nang Content usually does well too and If it a really good storyline along with it....that is when the rating comes in. I.e.

Bella pope BPS - double digit (good storyline)
their recent lakorn was nam nao...high in 4

I don't mind some cliche and trope.

I watched some older lakorns (that I haven't seen,) and I laugh because I know what will happens and dialogue

I seen enough lakorns to know the trope and cliche. If I already know the dialogue before it is spoke or happens ....at that point it is a joke ....

The thing is the audience isn't as big as we think....the rating isn't that high. I find the higher rating is on the good pra nang Interactions.

The thing is k and c drama has more variety of choices. I don't often watch the extreme long ones.

If you like nam nao then you'll like Chinese drama. Some costume one is nam nao as it can get. Especially when it involve the family and harem. They are always planning and scheming. Some of the scheming is fun to watch when it is done well.

Chinese and k drama has nam nao series to. It much longer and always involves the family. Makang = nam nao.

Pinoy drama is wicked nam nao

I don't find verbal and physical abuse appealing/romantic.....toxic relationship ....push and pull....fighting.....if I want that... I'll just watch 4 ep of club Friday and not a 16 ep lakorn of them repeating the same thing

I'm don't watch too much....but there's a few I enjoy. But currently I been enjoying it more than thai lakorns

Love...friendship...life...one of my favorite. I love how these characters just support each other.

One of my favorite scenes is about the 2 female. They address that not everyone's dream is the strong career women. That it is being a mother and that is is not devalued.

Save me - about a cult. It about friendships and manipulation of religious cult. Very interesting

Joy of Life
Longest day in Chang'an
New face
The rebel princess
Ancient detective
Dr Qin season 1
Tientsin Mystic etc...

I can't stand modern youth/school/slice of life cdramas tho. All of the heroines got the same vibe with annoying voices and bob hairstyles. Modern cdramas are for the most unwatchable. Im

Autumn concerto (I don't like angst but this was really good)

Good bye my princess....again I don't like angst and tragedies....but this 1 hurt soo good.

Modern cdramas are just a pain for me unless this a drama like "Dr Qin". Otherwise 99% of them are the SAME ! I have just seen the teaser of one that is going to air soon and yeah I already know how things gonna infold

70% ....are... sometimes those..familiar tropes/cliches will click


But I feel k&c drama has more variety.....crimes...mystery...fantasy

Thai are remaking... the crimes thrillers...signal...voice...

So I enjoy k/c dramas better because they offer more for me to pick from
