I’m seeing on social media that Nat has spoken to media & confirmed that her relationship with Aum is over. They’re just good friends now. She didn’t elaborate on the reasons.
Come to think of it… I feel like Ch3 only knows 2 n’ek types: polite, gentle one who’s downtrodden, or emotional/headstrong one who’s constantly fighting. The first type is the prev gen of n’ek, the second type is the current gen. Matt, Kim, Bella are all known to play the 2nd type.
I didn’t watch it cos the plot is not my thing. But I think that‘s the type of role that she’s typecast in. She emotes well but man, I feel like every role she’s been in is emotional/headstrong/fierce n’ek. Like that’s all of her roles except for that period drama with James Ma.

I wish she came across fierce and strong instead it's more annoying and cringe. I had to turn it off.
First rumour was Aum was seen going out with someone here … and of course in typical ET both said they were fine. Then Aum went on his finding Buddha mission and stay away from social media.
Then came the Janie story which I find funny, it’s just that they said she started going out with Aum since they got similar interest now as in spiritual matter. Don’t think it had anything to do with her divorce since it ended so long ago.. she just kept it low.
Now Natt confirm they both had ended their relationship.
Thai celebs is always lets tell the world we date, then when things go south, let’s just tell people it’s private matter between 2 people…

Yeah I heard about their Nat & Aum relationship having problems but then they denied it. The Janie thing came out of nowhere to me though.
to me that sounds like a script/direction problem.
Sigh Ch3… they dunno what to do with their experienced dara whom people still wanna watch. they wanna try to push new actors by pairing them with senior actors like this in plots and characters that completely don’t make sense.
This is what happens when for years all you do is remakes. You completely lose the capacity of developing new dramas.

I saw P’Nong, Nok Chatchai & Nok Jariya appearing at recent event for mono. I think the reporters are as curious as myself wondering why these Ch3 producers are appearing at the event of another channel.
My Thai isn’t that good but I feel like they are all speaking in generalities? instead of specifics? They seem to be saying that they haven’t left Ch3 but are now working to produce dramas for mono. Basically I think they’re saying like they are just producers producing dramas and they will work with all channels.
I saw other clips where I think reporters seem to be repeating their questions so Nok C also seemed to be repeating his answers, LOL. I think the problem is the reporter was looking for sensationalist replies like as if these producers and Ch3 are now on bad terms. But what I inferred from their answers is productions are no longer locked to channels. Ch3 hasn’t been giving approval to their projects so as producers that can’t wait around doing nothing anymore. They are doing this with full understanding and approval from Ch3. They are all giving very diplomatic answers cos they are highly experienced industry professionals who don’t want to burn any bridges (understandably) so the reporters are dumb in their questioning. lol
P’Aof and his wife has launched mono for a while but I still can’t see their shows? Is it cos they’re not on streaming services ? Or they aren’t exporting their shows?
It’s good that the industry is opening up this way (but if the same kinds of dramas get made, then, shrugs) but what is CH3 doing??? The contracted actors seem to still remain exclusive to them but they are doing nothing? Are they just going to wait until their contract expires?

Dang, there was always rumors of Aum stepping out on Nat but never thought I'd see the day where they'd actually leave one another. Didn't they become adoptive type surrogate parents to a friend's daughter? Or did that stop? He'll probably pop out with someone younger, get married asap, try again to see if he can have a child. Unfortunately, i think his rumored unfaithfulness and their inability to have a child together prob was the straw that broke the camels back
Hopefully, the rumors about him and Janie ain't true. If so, that woman can never escape the "other woman" title. You'd think she'd just want to rid herself of relationships with men atp after so many failed relationships. I'm not necessarily hating on her wants to move on and continue dating others, but when you've had as many failed public relationships as she had--i can't help but speculate is she is part of the issue. Like woman, have you don't enough growing and healing? Lol

So I’m reading on social media that the situation is quite dire. seems like ch5/8 will or have stop producing dramas. Ch7 will not produce new dramas, but just run reruns next year. The problem is industry-wide: falling revenue from advertising. So in comparison, Ch3 is struggling but looks better. they do have new dramas coming out next year. I guess they are still producing dramas but less.
Honestly, Ch3 is best-placed to overcome this crisis. Because unlike other channels, they have the stars who people will still want to watch. Just glancing at IG pages focusing on Thai ent news, you can roughly see what they think will pull views: Ch3 stars, and then BL & GL stars. And perception is that BL & GL is aren’t really big ratings either. They just get a lot of international hype & therefore think it’s easier to attract viewers & advertisers using BL&GL dramas.
Ch3 needs make content that can travel further. You cannot make the same kind of drama that people are not watching to attract them to watch. Put your old dramas online and sub it.. to try and benefit from online trends. Have social media managers who know how social media trends work and react fast. Make shorter series. Or mini-series. Or telemovies. Wouldn’t those cost less, and benefit more from audience shorter attention?

I think the only one who got it right at the moment is Khun Boy with OneHD they really up the par with their production work and most of their story now is guaranteed Netflix deal.

So they got vision.

@bit agreed. Also, if the producers continue making the same type of dramas, I’m not sure they’ll be more successful elsewhere. But they have production companies.. they need to produce to earn money.

I think one31 has the most potential going forward. At least they are putting subtitles in some of their dramas. And their lakorns have different variations of plots. Channel 7 is quiet, channel 3 is a mess. Though, lakorns in general aren't gaining much viewership. I think if done right, lakorn can stretch themselves. But unfortunately, it seems stuck and nowhere to go.
Oh yes… didn’t expect it to be this fast, I mean Taew got engage earlier yet has not walk the isle , but probably JJ do it very simple so they don’t have to prepare much.

JJ’s proposal was around September, I believe.. cos I vaguely recall it was around his birthday? then I saw the pre-wedding pix last month and suddenly there’s a wedding. I love simple intimate affairs like this. but I know a lot of people don’t agree with me.
Mint & Mookda did a movie together or something maybe a couple of years ago? And they seemed to be close for a bit then. I didn’t realize they remained close since then. Mookda has left CH7 so I guess will be choosing projects next?
