Matt will be fine because she's set to take a break soon, so that's her own doing. She might not be the most popular among the girls but she has established herself against popularity and doing Ok. She might not get 2-3 lakorns like she used to but I'm OK with that. It seemed better that way as if she's easing herself in prepping for her marriage.

Mai will be swoop in to channel 3...if one thinks otherwise they are kidding themselves. And then the fan war begins lol. Imagine Mai with Nadech and they become popular in their own right, can ya'll even think just how bad Yadech's fans would be annoyed by that. Mai is a bigger star than Pat/Taew...if they feel threatened by them, then they got a bigger headache with Mai.

Mint and Mario is on the rise but if Mai works with Mario...then they will probably overpowered Chario...because Mai/Mario already has fans from their movie which was a mega blockbuster, so that's that.

She will be a threat to all the girls...Yaya, Kim, Taew, and those in between them. She will get some projects and producers are going to want to work with her because she's already popular. Though, Yaya as an individual will survive Mai's wave at the channel. She has too many side jobs and a big fan base. But it'll be fun to watch the koo-jins fans go against each other. Mai might be stepping on some unwanted feet lol

It all depends on fate, too. Noon was the bigger star at Ch. 7 versus Chom, yet when they both worked for Ch. 3 in raeng lakorns, it was Chom who rose. It's all about the right opportunity and right timing that meets talent and preparation.
I'm happy that Mai and Pancake are switching things up in the entertainment industry. I'm not going to comment on their loyalty because that's their issue but with them being freelance, it should honestly be a good lesson to Ch. 7 to improve on the quality of their lakorns because they have been slipping for the last decade or so. If Ch. 7 wants to keep their stars, they need to change some of their ways. They have very few veterans left. It's so sad.
As for threats to Ch. 3 actresses, HELL YEAH! Haha. I adore my Ch. 3 girls but put that adoration to the side and talk about true acting chops, they need to STEP it up! Actresses from Ch. 3 need to stop hiding behind their koojins and seriously act like they mean it.
Ch. 7 lead actresses have a certain aura about them. It's quite intimidating. I know. Lol

Everyone knew what Noon is capable of since she was a front runner at ch7 for many years but Chom was basically supporting so when she went to ch3, she got her own drama and everyone was surprised at what she was capable of. So there's the surprised rigth there. Also Chom signed with the channel, she didn't go freelance so that gave her more of a leverage.

I also agree about ch3 girls needing to step it up. Ch3 has lots of girls but what alot of them lack is the talent and the aura.

I honestly think it ultimately comes down to fate, too. You can compete in anything, but you can't compete in fate. There are underrated actors/actresses/lakorns everywhere. The most popular celebrities at the top are not the most skilled; we all know that. There's no explaining why such talented actors/actresses/lakorns are below or don't receive the fame and success they truly deserve, so it all comes down to fate.
 
Noon's age compared to Chom's could be it, too. However, Chom went out of Ch. 7 with a bang in Dao Bpeuan Din, though. The ratings were great and the buzz was, too. This role was similar to Fah in Dok Som See Thong, which was years later and became the peak of her career at Ch. 3. I honestly think that it was the right role, the right lakorn, at the right time, that made Chom into who she is today. Of course, Chom nailed the role, too. But we all know that skills or effort may not always be the recipe for success or popularity. Dok Som See Thong struck a chord with the audience and propelled Chom up. If the role had been given to Noon, there's no telling if it would have been as big of a hit or not, as everyone's fate is different. If there is a role that everyone can recall for Chom, it's Fah from Dok Som See Thong. Look at Sai See Plerng. The lakorn had everything right, but it wasn't a hit.
 
Aum's acting has seriously sucked for years now whereas Noon is still constantly challenging herself and taking on raeng roles, but Noon is still no where near Aum's popularity. Aum was always higher than Noon when they were together at Ch. 7. Likewise for Yaya and Kim. (No offense to all fans.) To me, I think Kim is the better actress, for now; however, Yaya was just fated to be the Princess and at the top. It doesn't matter what Kim does or even if Kim didn't have any scandals, it would be hard to exceed Yaya in Kim's fate. (Yes, competition is not everything, both girls are famous and awesome in their own rights, but a tiny comparison won't hurt. Haha.) No one could have predicted that Nadech and Yaya would ever create such a powerful storm of koojin fever together. If it happens, it just happens. There's no preparation good enough for life. Lol Same thing with Sean and Esther. A lot of people don't think they have the aura to be leads, that's why they were supporting, but with Leh Ratee, they hit it big. Leh Ratee was a good lakorn, but really? The buzz was surprisingly huge. It took 2015 by storm, too. People still don't think they are pra'ake and nang'ake material.
 
That's why I'm interested in Mai and Pancake's transitions. Sometimes, all the right opportunities can be given to someone but if it's not in their fate or not their time or passed their time, they won't shine or cannot shine to their maximum capacity. I mean, a lot of people think Mai is overrated or that Pancake should have never been nang'ake. Despite the recent rift between Ch. 7 and breaking up with her koo kwan a long time ago, there's no denying that Pancake still stands her grounds in popularity, as we still see her commercials, magazines, and events everywhere. Likewise for Mai. Mai has stood her grounds in a koojin-ver world. Hahah.
 
It's hard to predict anything. Mai may not have any impact on the Ch. 3 actresses like we're saying or she may change everything up over there. Who knows until it happens. Lol
 
A little talent and a lot of luck takes you far.

If tsl had at LEAST 1 real kiss, I would be so much crazier over them. No one wants to see fake kisses or not even kiss at all. I hope Mai and Pan the best as freelance though.

I've already seen Mai with Nadech and James in photoshoots. The chemistry just isn't there or perhaps they just didn't care to generate much for a mere magazine, so I'm hoping to see Mario and Mai. Goshhh, they were adorable in Pee Mak. Hahah. Both can do comedy quite well.
 
For Mai, I want to see her pair up with Mario, Ken P., Push, and Lek and then Nadech and James. Lol
 
Too bad, didn't get to see Mai with Michael.

Wow. Thanks for all the in-depth discussions. I am quite a newbie in the Lakorn world so I didn't realize it was this complex. I think with Ch3, they have too many newbie actors so despite the sheer number of actresses that they have they need more relatively experienced actresses to kind of pull up and train the newbie actors. I think with the girls it seems tougher to stay on top than with guys

IMO, ch7 have better looking actors. Yes, they're not that bad either.

Noon did really well in Tong Neur Gao. I think she exceeded Chom in Dok Som See Thong. It was just that Ch3 didn't bother promoting her cause she's freelance whereas Chom signed with Ch.3. Chom was pushed hard at Ch.3.
 
Since Mai is freelance I don't know if Ch.3 will go all out for her. They might. They've got good incentive to do it, even if she didn't sign with them, unlike Noon who sad to say is past her peak for the n'ek roles. I could see them doing it for Mai but not Pancake though. So I think Pan will lose out if she doesn't sign with them.
 
As for who she'll push out in Ch3? I think Yaya will honestly get affected the most, not by the lakorns she get, but as the top dawg of Ch.3  She might have to be co-top dawg. It's always the one at the top with the most to lose.
 
The other actresses aren't at the very top but they have their own niche. Taew is Act Art's child and Mai isn't going to change that even though I think P'Off likes her too. I mean P'Daeng straight up said it, that Taew was her "look rak." Kim is Anne's kid, Preem and Matt are Makers. Namtarn is Broadcast's. The up and comers weren't going to be in Mai's league anyway and the roles they would've gotten wouldn't have gone to Mai.
 
I too want her with Mario first then James Ma. I want Panjan too but that might be a pipe dream.
 
I also want her with Nadech just to see the explosions. It might start WWIII, especially if they have chemistry and a good script lol.

This is a little O/T, but for some reason relevant to what I'm feeling. I dislike when people assume when two nang'eks are feuding you should pick one and dislike the other. I remember Pan vs Kwan days, people went bat shit if you defended both girls. I liked Kwan and Pan in those days, but both girls were rather immature back then lol. Nowadays if you like either Kim or Mint you can't like the other one, well all I have to say is back off.. I will like whoever I want and favor both equally, does it annoy you? You see that invisible bridge right there? Oh you don't? Well the invisibility of that bridge is how much I care about your opinion. Like that supposed feud between Mai and Min, there was no real evidence they were actually feuding and fans were all "You can't like Mai if you like Min." Lol.

Well, that's the mentality of most fans nowadays that if you like one you can't like the other because in their mind one is better. Some actresses are on the same level where they both need improvement lol.
 
Fans war are funny sometimes because they say some hilarious stuff. Some fans will defend the actress/actor saying the acting is way better, cry better. Then some of us that looks at both would think...get out of here, they both are the same :bhehe:

I mean I do favor Mint more, but I still see Kim's potential and won't unreasonably hate her, I actually only watch her lakorns where she isn't paired up with Mark because MK is overrated (not because I hold a grudge for my MTeam hear) that is just my opinion, no hate or anything, and my opinions change all the time. Lol, I might sound like a hypocrite since I like Ken P, and Namtarn together, but they've been independent and not using their koojin status to gain profits and also they don't over do it.

I focus on actors I like. ..I don't waste energy on actors I'm not interested in...but I always try to give em a try... that y I'm able to enjoy Matt... never liked her until recently. ...too much energy to waste on something u don't care for. ..
