I don’t think Kiew is leaving to give way for a Chaya to be with Peat but because she can’t stand the situation where Chaya’s (annoying) presence in Peat’s life is a torn on their side.

Well that's a more acceptable reason, although I still hate how Chaya is always in the picture. Kiew did tell her friend that she's unsure about Pete because he has wronged her so maybe that's the bigger reason, hopefully.
