CHAPTER 1
“Ann are your ready.” The man in his late 50's came out of his office in a black suit and tie, old enough to be my father.
I nervously took a deep breath and nodded. “Where are we going?.”
“Call me Akarin.” He smiled at her. “Just follow my lead, and put on the same smile as last night.”
I followed him down the hall into this bigger room, the conference room. I've been here many times before, but not like now.
Inside, I saw there was about 10 people, all staring at me, I began to feel nervous and my palms were sweaty my forehead was dripping like I was rained on.
He then pull out a chair for me next his.
I was scared to look at everyone, they made me so nervous you could tell they were all of Akarin
asocciates. “Isn’t she the girl who cleans the office at night.” The third lady sitting from me whispers to the other lady.
' How rude of her, i could here everything she says' Then as I looks around, word gets all the way to the other end, by this time
everyone knows who I am.
“I would like all of you to meet my new…....................(you fill in the blanks)” Akarin pause as he looks at the expression on their faces.
What is her position Mr. Pholdee?, the highest percentage holder for this company?, and why is she in here?.
All these questions started to flow at him like a raging river, they demanded to know and know now. With one sterned word he
replied “Secretary.” I looked at him with surprised Akarin never mention this. After last night he told me to meet him here this morning but i had no idea
l could tell from the look on everyone, they didn’t like what they heard,
After that being said Akarin stood up and i follow him outside.
how can a girl who cleans office last night become Mr. Pholdee in one night, there must be something behind this all. ,
“There must something more to the story.” I heard one say as i was leaving.
“I think those two are more than just secretary and boss.” I heard another. Even though that made me felt uneasy, I just have to
keep my head held high and ignore them and continue walk.
I followed Akarin back into his office. He handed me an envelope, "what is this" i said
"Just open it "
I took out two keys along with a credit card. “I cant accept this?”
Akarin move forward to explain to me. “One key is for the new house where you will be staying and the other one is for your car in the parking lot."
Akarin gave me a job i cannot accept this from him, this is too much already how am i supose to pay him back so i handed it back to him "
Mr. Pholdee I cant accept this, youve done so much for me "

“ I don’t want to tell you this, but today is not good at all, you have to come back to Thailand right away,” Sasit replied on the other line.
“What is Aunt Sasit, why do I have to go back, you know my father and I are not on good terms.”
“I know that you don’t want anything from him, but you have to understand that he’s giving it away.” she didnt get in to detail.
“What do you mean giving all away?”
“His money, Tik he’s giving it all to his mistress.”
“What you are saying he’s is involve with a woman.”
”Yes, honey, he’s under her spell.”
“ what ever he does I don’t’ care, the money he has means nothing to me. I have a great life here I don’t need a penny from him.”
Tik had set his mind straight, not a penny from his father, He was mad that his father sent him away to study in America, after graduating
from college his father wanted him to go back, but Tik refuse he says that he love his life here, so his father have declared not to send
him anymore money, until he come back to Thailand and work in his company.
“ Tik he’s letting her live in the house also, the house you loved so much.” May is doing and saying everything in her power to convince
him to come back, There is no way she’s allowing her brother in law in giving everything away the little tramp. She has to build fire in Tik,
so he could return and kick that mistress out of the mansion.
“What house, you’re saying he’s letting her stays in my mother's house.” Tik was in flames once he heard this, How can his father do this.
This house was the only memory he had when he was in Thailand with his mom when she was still alive. How can he just give
it away to this tramp.
“Yes honey, I was more surprise than you were when I saw her there.”
“I can’t believe he would do this especially to my mom, how could he had forgotten, Aunt Sasit don’t worry I will be on the next flight out
Tik hangs up the phone and begins to pack.
