Actors/actresses that should quit acting

Personally for me if I had to choose I’d choose a less attractive nang ek with good acting skills that can actually bring their character to life, like you just shouldn’t be nang ek if you can’t even get in touch with your character. To me when they’re pretty theres only so long you can watch until they become hecka cringe and start to lose their charm.
Plus the longer I look the uglier most of them get so now im just stuck with an ugly gal with bad acting.

Usually when their character is great and they nailed it I instantly am into them. But if they can’t nail it they become pretty forgettable to me.

Example: Bella Ranee, never cared about her, looks eh okay. Watched some Padiwarada, thought she was really good then I liked her a bit more. Then Karakade comes along and is perfect in every way plus is played by someone who can act so now she’s my girl crush and I think she’s one of the most beautiful thai actress. Plus i love how charming she is. Lol her bts on BPS are sooo cute.

For anne I don’t think she’s the prettiest but her charm and acting definitely won me over it made her look more beautiful in my opinion. But dang now that she’s older she definitely don’t look as pretty now plus she almost never gets glam like back then when it was her prime time.

I loved Aom in RLSR too, definitely a great actress, Kob was okay, i feel like she had more of a bitchy aura more than anyone. Aump, never watched her dramas except Mia Luang which she was good in and her movie with Oil. For me I understand why she’s popular.

Noon, I watched most of Rahut Rissaya but dang she has this elegance about her that i admire plus she got the acting chops and everything. I think she’s the whole package.

Anyways I just don’t get why i would be into a pretty actress who can’t do her job like I might well just watch their IG feed. Like you are an actress who’s suppose to be a certain character but if you just come and read lines like Gtfo, go to modeling or something.

I think everyone just have different taste.

But girl can't act. She is sexy as hell, though for an odd reason she can't act sexy or be seductive toward her pra'ek to save her life. I remembered watching her lakorn with Om. She was so bad in there, she made Om came to her level. I was baffled as to how she went backward with her acting but she did.

i wish i was like you guys but i just can't someone that i don't think is visually appealing. I get really annoyed with myself sometimes but if they aren't pretty or good-looking, i can't get into the drama or lakorn.

@AnnTfan I can totally see what you’re saying but I think the chances of someone not attractive and doing really really well comes in a 1 of a million chances eg pope has been acting since a century ago too lol he didn’t just start up in 2018 55 he just happened to do so well in bps. Bella is actually the exception! She’s appealing from the start and her acting has always been on point but I was just never a fan. it’s her attitude or too much exaggeration that I don’t find appealing. Watching her with Mark for the first time, she’s got so much attitude I didn’t like her. Lol. Plus, she seems like she’s got that cocky/stuck up attitude in real life to me 55

Now between Kob and Anne about who’s got the bitchier or meaner look. Here’s my breakdown

I was never a Kob fan, but after her prime was slowly dying and looking back, she’s actually one of the more stable actresses. But yes, I do agree with you that she comes off very stuck up and inconsiderate with her personality. I never liked her attitude much but she always has GREAT and awesome chemistry with her handsome p’ek like Andrew, Oil T, even Por and her were good. I’m sure there’s more guys to name.

Then there’s Anne, who is just so mean and has so much attitude, like a very mean/bitchy face/attitude in most of her lakorn. I think that’s why I was never drawn to her. Plus she’s one that I don’t find have chemistry with any of her p’ek, even I don’t care for her and Ken lol but people are crazy about SB so kudos to that!

Looking back Aum is the sweetest but she sucks so bad! She’s a horrible actress in all areas. Lacks chemistry in everything, acting is not realistic. But she’s SEXY, at least according to the Thais lol her face isn’t sexy to me, she’s more like dorky cute but her body and big boobs are def scene stealer! Lol

Noon was best in her prime but she’s aging the worst. She’s looking so weird, not digging it.

Well, I’m not all about looks alone, but I do find it to be very important for the fame, success, and flowing of the characters I’m watching. I know people think Mark’s acting sucks LOL but to me, I always identify with his character very well like he plays a lot of his characters with emotions and it makes you feel remorseful by drawing you in. Haha. So to me, he’s very aligned with his character and I can relate to each character quite well so that’s how I’m drawn to him besides his totally perfect face LOL

Okay— I just realized I have a few more pointers to add 55. As much as I adore Chalida, I think her acting is not good. I think she’s one actress that I cannot relate to her character, despite which character she plays. Maybe cuz shes been replaying the same character for so long that it’s just not relevant but even so, I don’t connect with her characters much. It’s just doesn’t stand out to me.

And I have more to say about the other famous people but I’m scared people can’t handle the truth 555 so I’ll end here lol

So many Hollywood people are not that attractive but they are pretty solid in their craft that I tolerate them and enjoy their acting. I think I apply it to other industry in how I view them.

Gosh I remember ally Mcbeal (kind of mature show I would say) I remember seeing one or two episodes as a child lol but then I was such a kid and I didn’t know it’s name and never knew when it was exactly airing so I lost track and lost the show!! Hahahahaha

Decades later I’m grown, I finally saw the actress playing it again. Much older now did I know the show was called ally mcbeal lmbo!!!!

The thing with american/western tv shows is that the actors do not need to be totally eye candy cuz their craft and work is 100% quality. They don’t air choppy or shitty things out.. seriously.. Thai people and their editing are like elementary level compared to western lol so maybe that’s why we’re so picky about who should be lead or not and who should we watch cuz they’re just so low budget.

When I watch American/western stuff it never crosses my mind that the lead people must be eye candy lol but I do get drawn to the more beautiful people in the series, show or movie that I watch lol

funny because for me when i was younger i used to watch a lot of bollywood movies and a lot of the actors and actresses in the movies were not pretty or good-looking but it didn't bother me cause i was younger and didn't really care about looks at the time. but because the movies were part of my childhood i can still watch them without being irritated or bothered by their appearance. but for me the only time i care about appearance is if the genre of the drama or movie is romance. if romance is not in the picture, i don't care about how the leads look.

I love Poo! She has such a sexy vibe without trying. And I don’t cringe looking at her trying to be “sexy”. But I agree she’s not a talented actress. Modeling is good for her! Lol but when I see Bella or Yaya trying to be “sexy” I cringe. These two I never associate sexy with! Same for Taew and Mew. These two are just super adorable!

As opposed to actors/actresses who should quit, I'm more inclined in wanting to tell the higher ups to promote talent more than anything else. Stop pushing people into lead roles when they can barely do more than one facial expression and are dull as can be on-screen. If they're newcomers make them work for it through workshops, classes and supporting roles.

Talking about Bomb...I was was watching the Chinese version, it started with a kiss. Holy crap, the pra'ek was so one dimensional it was hard to watch. When he was jealous, mad, happy, he basically gave one face. It was like Bomb in cubic. You have to guess what he was going through because his face ain't telling you. Anyway, when he was sad the only thing that made me aware of it was his tears falling down yet his face still the same lol. I wanted to see if he improved, I skipped all the way to the last episode like 29. Yeah, he didn't hahahha.

Lol I peeked at his lakorn with Preem and wasn’t impressed. He looks refreshing and cute but Preem is stiff along with Bomb. Krit looked kind of old in there but ok. Krit is a good actor since he’s been around much longer! Lol.

Lol...there are a few out there that suck limes with their expressions but Vill would take the cake. Her crying is also not convincing. She cries but them tears are so stubborn. And I feel like she knows that too that is why she is squeezing real hard.

When someone try to act cute and innocent calculating the movements will not be a smooth transition because one can see it. The acting has to flow to make it work. I am neutral with Bella, I can watch a few episodes here and there but if I don't ever finish her lakorns I am Ok. I think the process of the industry as to who gets the pranangs roles suck anyway. That to me, plays a big part to how we get so many dispassionate actors/actresses.

Lol vill has been getting praised for her role as pananid in her current lakorn with Pong. The trouble with her previously was bad scripts so she could not deliver her a game
