found a clip of mini press conference about the "The Barkada" movie (barkada: is a street language in Filipino meaning circle of friends/group of friends) this is actually the movie that Erich declined last year and it was confirmed during the new year from JP Abellera that she declined this project movie together with this set of cast.

the director shares about the story plot of this movie: it's about this 4 guys, about their friendship who can't move on because of what they did in the past. that it's been years since they meet again and as they look back to their past, they did something bad and it was one of the reasons why even years later they're still not happy. and what they wanted to achieve is the happiness that they were looking for all this time.
the press ask the director about the leading ladies of these actors and the director revealed that they're still working on it. some declined because of their schedules and some were just finishing their other commitments before they can start working with the project.
(i believe Erich who is Enchong's leading lady declined the project because of her upcoming film with Mario. meanwhile, Kim who is Xian's leading lady 'i believe' also declined the project as well because she has an upcoming horror film and she'll be with the veteran actress to shoot their movie. Enrique and Kean's love interest... i'm stil not sure but no doubt and i have a feeling that Kathyrn Bernado who is Enrique's love interest in their upcoming drama... if this movie will be offered to her, i think she'll accept it. and even Jessy Mendiola who is also Enrique's love interest in his current drama "Budoy".)
with Kean (he's a ch5 actor and most of his dramas are in ch5 but he's a freelance actor when it comes to movies. he accepts any movie that has been offer to him whether it's star cinema production or other movie production.
though tv5 in the philippines is handled by Viva Entertainment productions and most of the artists are from Viva. Viva works w/ different productions such as Star Cinema and OctoArts Film except ch7's GMA Films. Viva Entertainment is also an independent company who produced a lot of movies since 80's. so it's only natural that they're not new already when it comes to movies.
but in dramas... their company partners with TV5 network and it's only natural that most of their artists like their singers and dancers who debuted in acting, automatically has drama projects. but other than that, they got bunch of veteran actors and actresses.
though Kean's a freelance actor/singer (vocalist of Callalily), he was never a Viva artist or Star Cinema. he can also work with GMA7 if the network offers something to him. but his entire drama projects is still in TV5 though. but in movies, it's YES... he can be part of any production film.

i also think that Kean's role is supposed to be JM de Guzman. but JM declined the project just like i've mentioned not so long time ago. anyways, Kean's still cutie in his own way. his looks like wild and hardcore at many times because of his tattoos but he's still looking good whenever he dress so nice like other actors.

don't mind the interview of Enchong and Xian... they're just repeating what the director says. the presscon is more likely nothing interest to dig in for now because their leading ladies hasn't been confirm yet.
