EP 6 - 45 : 47 – Kade falling on the floor outside the house

Kate poked Date’s shoulder, he was startled turning to her suddenly. That made Kade nearly fall down if he didn’t hold her in time. But then he released his hand at once. She fell on the floor. He turned his back to her, clasped his hands behind his back and stood still.

Kade said “Te Dai Jai Loey Na” (เต๊ะได้ใจเลยนะ)

The English subtitle is “Happy to be so mean”. I don’t know what it means.

Te = เต๊ะ = to strike a handsome pose
Dai = ได้ = get
Jai = (ใจ) = heart
Loey Na = เลยนะ = a particle usually tacked onto the end of a sentence to make the sentence more polite or softer.

“Te Dai Jai” is a slang means

= To strike a pose so handsome that get heart.
= You strike a pose so handsome that you get (my/our) heart (s).”
= Te so much = Te mak

There are 4 more words mean the same or similar :

Te (เต๊ะ) = Te Jouy (เต๊ะจุ๊ย) = Khi Te (ขี้เต๊ะ) = Gayk (เก๊ก) = Khi Gayk

Te, Te Jouy, Gayk come from Chinese words.

With my limited exposure and knowledge of the lakorn world... I would dance around a bonfire if Pope is pair (beside the obvious Bella of course) with the following and not necessarily in this sequential order.

1) Warrataya Nilkuha (Jui) - the sizzles chemistry in STT
2) Matt Peranee - this would be a hoot....cause I feel like Matt has Ploy vibes and sassiness
3) Ploy Chermarn Boonyasak - love another zaap reaction from this coupling.
4) Sawitree Samipak - this actress can't be the nang ek obviously, but I would love to see Pope and her team again. These two have great chemistry in Sapai Jao. While the leads... there was chemistry but somehow I don't see the nang ek elevation into the romance ether the sexy/comfortable or mature companion instead just as friends. The nang rai has the looks and chemistry with Pope but her actions in the drama... too much slithering thus remind me either of a snake or worm in a hot sun.

For Pope, I see his potential to play psychopath character , the chilling character...soft spoken manipulative type. He has tough time playing the aggressive e.g., slap and kiss character which is plain vanilla in Thai drama and I am not keen on this as well.

Very much an artist hand... he has lovely calves and feet as well... one thing I notice a lot of Thai actresses tend to have a wide feet as compared to other Asian counterparts - Korean and Chinese.

Pin, Yam and Kade were talking about the long-tailed boat race. Pin told Kade that the race was held every year when “Nam Larg (น้ำหลาก)”
The English subtitle is “There is a competition every year when the current is low”. It wouldn’t be correct.

In the rainy season there is a lot of water in the river and some water flows from the northern part of Thailand. That makes the level of the water in the river high enough for boat race.

Thai people sometimes call rainy season (Ru Doo Fon) as “Ru Doo Nam Larg”. (Pin used this word - Nam Larg) But these two words, Ru Doo Fon and Ru Doo Nam Larg have a little different meaning.

Ru Doo Fon means Ru Doo Fon without any indication about the quantity of the water but Ru Doo Nam Larg refers the quantity of the water flowing that can make the river overflow or flood.

Nam (น้ำ).............= water
Larg (หลาก).........= overflow, flood

About seasons in Thailand :

Season ………….=.....ฤดู / หน้า....= Ru Doo / Na

I thought it was odd as well... especially when I saw there were courtesans with flowers tuck in their hair. As for the long boat race, I don't think it could be done during low tide... as explained during the conversation between Kade and P Yam. It should be during high tide...but not monsoon or until the river really overflow.

Lol!! We need more couples in Ch3! I think Aff and Pope have very mature looks! I was a part of the JLR Team too and forever believe Aum & Aff had one of the best chemistry onscreen I hope Ch3 does make a PopeAff Lakorn one day!! Please please please! I miss Aff so much onscreen! I’m still praying for a Bella/Nadech lakorn too! Lol so I’m praying for a lot of couples who I don’t think a lot of people want in a lakorn.

For my Bell... I would love her to have the chance to pit against:

1) Ananda Everingham - the drama needs to be gritty though.
2) Jesdaporn Pholdee (Tik) - he has the suparburoot thing.. down to a pat

The smiles just come naturally by looking at these pix, the feels still there... even after 10x watching. I plan to rewatch during my leave at the end of December. Just love this character individually (Date and Kade) and both of them as OTP. Each just fit in perfectly, very difficult to find these type of drama characters and plot.

Khun Nong accepts that the new lakorn is Puyai Lee Gub Nang Ma but there isn’t much prepared yet because there are still other 2 lakorn, Rang Ngao 2 (will be completed soon) and Li Kit Rak Kaam Daung Dao.

For the lead actress for Puyai Lee Gub Nang Ma, many would like to be Bella but Bella has 2 lakorn, Nok Jariya’s Roy Le Maanya and Song Sa Ne Ha. If the 2 lakorn are finished, it would be Khun Nong’s queue but both lakorn haven’t started yet. They may be completed in 2019.

Khun Nong says it depends on the queue. If get it we have to talk together again. Now she really know nothing and has to wait until the beginning of next year. She can confirm only Pope as the lead actor and P’ Mai is the director.

Asked that there is another lead actress who her look would be suitable for the character of Nang Ma, Matt Peeranee.
The answer is Matt maybe too tall. Bella has the right height and beautiful when being with Pope.

Its ok, I've checked Pope still have a few centimeters over Matt... so need to ensure Matt wears flats all the time and scenery or background shots... with Pope on higher level land, hill, stairs... director make them work!!!!

I'm not going to touch on Yaya just because......since what lure me to watch Kluen Cheewit was these two pictures of Prin Suparat

But plot wise for Kluen Cheewit, tbh there was no plot at all. The characterizations of the actors and actresses , seems like everyone had lobotomy because it was so sudden that everyone change . Leads chemistry is there....but I have seen better interactions between leads and the casts. Overall, I was only indulge in that lakorn I would say.... the first 20 mins of episode 1 and scenes with Louis Scott but the ending for Chaiyan and his wife....it should and could have been better not when the last 1 hour of episode 15th, the drama kind of display that Chaiyan was in a way wrong in his treatment towards his wife just because she was pregnant.
Not to be biased but I would say Kharm See Tan Dorn at least has a plot....it was just the execution went south.

I agree that Sathit pretty much had a lobotomy at the end, but I still enjoyed it. The plot was there, it was just different from other dramas because it was focused on one character, rather than having external stuff like thieves and druggies and all that. The plot was about Sathit seeking justice against Jee after she accidentally ran over his girlfriend, and whether he was even right to seek justice. That's probably why I enjoyed it so much; I like plots involving people because I find them more realistic, depending on the plot.
I thought Jee was well developed as a character. Yaya did a great job of showing how Jee acts mean and tough on the outside, but deep down is actually a sensitive person.
KSTD's problem was it had ten different plots going on simultaneously and couldn't decide on one.
