Oh pra'jao, I am beyond impressed with Matt's acting in here! I already had goosebumps while watching the opening. I knew she was going to storm by like a hurricane. I think this is it. This will be her break through role. I really don't understand how she can be so underrated with this level of skills and talent. I love how she's able to portray Leela in a sexy, fierce, and mysterious way yet be subtle about it. She's displaying so many range of emotions in each scene. It's like a mixture of all the different characters she played combined in one: Naed, Wiwa, and Khem. But there's no trace of them being the same character because she plays Leela differently. Not to mention, her eye game is strong. I think that's one of her most prominent features, besides her booty. Lol. I like how she is able to exude lust, anger, sadness, worry, and sincerity through them. When she flirts with Kla and Naran, she comes off as believable. You know how Ploy does her eye tricks to attract p'eks when she plays rai? Matt's able to do that but she hasn't mastered it like Ploy. Lol.
I found the pranang's meeting a bit dramatic. They had trucks flipping and children's lives at risk just to showcase how fated they are to meet each other. Lol. Not complaining. It's a good way to keep us awake. I also love love love Matt's entrance at the fashion show. She bodied everyone there. It was definitely a wow moment. That's the difference between thinking you're hot and being hot. Matt did it right, unlike Taew in Lom Sorn Ruk. I couldn't stop laughing when she was gushing over how beautiful everyone thought she was when she really wasn't all that. Back to Matt. The way Matt walked the runway really showcased confidence at its best. She is really bringing her A game for Leela's character.
For the most part, I think everyone is doing exceptional in their roles. Matt will be playing all the men in that family so it'll be difficult to watch. I already know I won't favor her character too much. It doesn't help that Rome pulled out so I won't be looking forward to the romance between Narut and Leela. The weakest link in here is Boy, and I think we all predicted that because he was quite expressionless in the photos and he is the same onscreen. Like Meow said, he was not prepared to take on this role. My heart still aches because the thought of Rome as Narut still makes me sad. I kept picturing his portrayal each time Narut comes onscreen. At least they're reunited in Buang Nareumit so that puts me at ease.
Overall, I'm really excited for Matt's role. I originally tuned into this for the slap/kiss between RoMatt, but since that has changed, I look forward to seeing Matt's growth as an actress. Producers, please go after her after this. Especially you Anne! Can't you see how talented this girl is? If anything, she reminds me most of you because you both dominate the drama and comedy genres.
Oh yeahh, after seeing episode 1, I can't help but want to see Matt play Mootha and Moonin in Raeng Ngao. Oh my goodness, she really reminds me of how Anne played Moonin. Her sharp tongue and hidden reactions of satisfaction when the n'rai gets what she asked for is on point. Sia dai jang. Janie dai len bpai laew.
