The first lakorn version of Ubatheehed had Ann Siriam and Likit in it actually. So there's been 3 lakorn versions.
I'm willing to give Yaya a chance in this. It's about time she took on a different role so good for her. If she pulls it off then maybe they won't typecast her anymore in just cutesy roles.

I don't think there will be real kiss. Game Rai Game Rak is also a slap kiss lakorn under Lakorn Thai and directed by P'Aew and there was no real kiss if I'm not mistaken.
:cry1: :cry1:If you count the accidental kiss on the swing and the one at the end then there were real kisses in GRGR lol. I'm really counting on P'Da and P'Aew to really push them to their fullest potential and bring something new to the table. If they don't end up doing real kisses then at least have a lot of sexual tension going on.

Haha which is why I keep saying I want Yaya out of her comfort zone. If the script calls for real kisses, I think she'll do it. In DJA, they were going to use camera techniques for the water kiss but they had difficulties and Yaya was the one who said she'll do a real a kiss. I don't mind if that doesn't happen either because sometimes, lakorns don't need a lot of intimacy for it to be sizzling. It all depends on the how the lakorn is executed.

Mark has improved so much in Abb Ruk Online. He did a great job with crying scenes and made the viewers feel the pain he suffered thanks to P'Aew. That's why I said earlier in this thread that if P'Aew directs Kluen Cheewit, I have faith it will turn out good. She's a superb director.

Actually there has been 5 lakorn versions... the 1st television version of Ubatheehed was in 1974 played by Num Sornram's father and Siripon. The 2nd was in 1983 by Monrudee and Pon Plagon. The 3rd was in 1990 by Siriam and Likit. The 4th was in 1998 by Pete T. and Katrena(sp), and lastly the 5th was in 2012 with Aum P. and Aom.

I believe Yaya will do well in here, I think she was good in Dao Ruang, so she probably can pulled this roles off well too.
I think her role in Dao Ruang and the role in here are two completely opposite roles. One is a stubborn and hot-headed girl similar to Jeed in DJA while the n'ek in here is a troubled woman who deals with her adult problems through drinking heavily. This role will be a challenge for her and I think she will be able to pull it off because Yaya does her research well. Many people think she can't pull off raeng roles because they're so used to her cutesy image, but I see talent in Yaya since her beginning years. If she can transition from Nuch from Kularb Rai Narm into Jeed from DJA flawlessly, I believe she can play a troubled alcoholic n'ek. I can't wait to see how she delivers it. I've been waiting to see her challenge herself for years. Thank goodness the producer had the same faith in her and casted her.
