I'm enjoying this lakorn so much! The last production I watched of Off was some of the Mafia Mungkorn Series, but fully was acting Tong Neua Gao which is my absolute favorite. I really love the storyline, production, acting, wardrobe, MUSIC, and overall lakorn. I have never finished a Ken lakorn, so hopefully I make it to the end. He's great in here but I can see some room for improvement haha, but I don't think I'd want another actor. I also agree he plays the quirky but determined student very well. As for Taew, she's always been a versatile and great actress to me. I can't imagine anyone else speaking greatly as her dialect wise. I can't quite see a talented enough actress out there to portray all the above along with the dialect. She's so good at it and she plays KamKaew smoothly.
I love the lakorn because I'm really into the whole folklore and mythology of Payanak. This lakorn kind of resembles Kasanaka and I really loved that one. Just the forbidden love and serpent goddess just does it for me, it's so appealing. Taew is so gorgeous dressed up as Mae Nakee. I really think she suits the role.
Another thing I love is the language. I'm Lao myself so I understand both the dialect and the Thai. Off is spot on with the jokes and all and how the language is spoken through the scripts. I feel like I'm at home listening to my father and uncles speak. I love when Lumgiet's dad speaks to her, especially when he mentioned she acted just like her mom. I was laughing a ton!
Ken and Taew are so compatible and I see chemistry. I like the pairing and so far, every aspect of the lakorn is doing it for me. I'm hooked!
By the way, I found myself loving the OST so much and one main reason is because the singer is the same guy who sings "Sai Wa See Bor Thim Gun". That songs such a hit and him singing for the OST... chills.
Can't wait for next week!
