Thank you everyone for your warm welcome. An interesting conversation pops up between my mum and I while we were watching RP. She said “Lust will die quickly, love that is not nourish will fade away over time, but the bond and the sense of responsibility that one has for another will tie you down forever”. This is quite true here; we see how Puwandon lust after Tae, Pit and Rawee relationship, the bond between Tae and Pit (which always bring them back together).
What I like most about this Lakorn is the wise word that Khun Nop delivers so far, to Tae he said something along the line of “…we are wanting (pratana) more and more as we grow older, it would be good if we get what we pratana. But if not, surely it will leave a scar but that won’t kill us…smart people will not let what we want and desire take over and destroy our life … it will hurt at first because the wound is new but the pain will fade away with time …” ---this is a strong message and we have already see Tae starting to follow his advice, she is letting go and is dealing with the pain. While we see on the other hand Rawee got taught differently, she was told to fight for what she want even though what she pratana is no longer rightfully hers (a married man (soon), he has made a choice and she is not it). Puwadon is a large part that turns Rawee rai, the torture and heartache that he will cause her in the upcoming episodes will lead her to blame Tae even more and seek her revenge.
Parson’s character?…Many of his action have me doubting …he seems to be scare of the past between him and Pit’s mum. Pit did said: “what he don’t understand is why Parson hate his mum so much”. In the flashback of Pit mum with Pit’s grandma, Pit’s mum seems to show, somewhat, disgust in Parson also and she seems to be very prideful like Pit. It is hard to believe that she would fall in love with a man like Parson whom already has a fiancé, let a lone give herself to him. I could not help but to wonder whether what Puwadon did to Tae in epi 6 is somewhat a reflection of what Parson did to Pit’s mum. Except, Parson got the home run while Puwadon only got to first base (as Pit save the day of course). After all, Parson seems like the person whose will not take rejection easily and will do anything to get what he wants (same characteristic as Puwadon of course). Hope the Lakorn will also explain that … so many layers to the complicated relationship in RP to keep viewers tune in.
