Yongyut is the kind of person who will neither treat his lover bad nor good. He knew Rath was already his. He thought that since she was already at his side, he didn't need to make sure she stayed there. He didn't realize that she needed attention, love and affection. His grandmother was always the one that provided everything for him. His disposition was to always receive but he never learned how to give.

The sad thing is that I actually teared when EYam died. She never repent, never realized her sins and that her hatred was so petty. It saddens me that she went to meet her maker in the underworld

International lakorn fans may not like this lakorn but Thai people love it. The ratings for SKSR are very good and it has passed Bang Rajan as the highest rating lakorn for CH3 this year.
Thai viewers said they have more compassion and empathy for Yongyut's character - the guy who had never been raised in a warm and loving family, the guy who had lost everything: his father, mother, grandmother, and girlfriend.
Thai viewers also think the actor who plays Yongyut did an excellent job; on the other hand, they said Thana's acting is the weakest among the new generation. He couldn't even cry and no tears came out.

Yeah I don't get it. I think Yut is an annoying character and the actor who plays him is a block of wood with no energy, no personality, no nothing. There is no accounting for taste.
But yeah I took a look at the ratings and it is absolutely killing it. Ep. 16 was 9.9 and I don't think any Ch. 3 Lakorn has gotten that high since the SJ series days and Tong Neur Gao. But ep 17 was 6.3 so something was a huge turn off for them in ep16. And you know that entire episode was basically Yut crying and whining everywhere so....
As a comparison, the Mon-Tues slot with the Mafia series seem to be stuck in the 5s. And Kol Kimono on Wed-Thurs crashed and burned horribly. I saw 2s for some of the recent episodes.

I disagree with saying Thana is the weakest but i agree that this lakorn is very good. We're just bored with the last 3 episode.

Unfortunately, there seemed to always be something like political speeches or sports that kept interrupting SKSR airing. Episodes 11, 12, and 15 were short and episode 17 was the shortest only 40+ minutes. Read somewhere that there was a football/soccer game so people thought SKSR didn't air that day and probably didn't tune in.
I've tried to watch it live a couple of times but run into political speeches so I gave up and wait for Youtube.

Yeah, I thought Thana or (Ahpo) is a decent actor for his first lakorn. He shows more emotions throughout than Yongyut's character ever did. Yongyut's only emotion was... blank, stiffly getting angry and awkwardly being happy... lol

I totally understand why the majority like Thana's character and why not. He is charming, playful, attentive and everything Yongyut is not. This is the first time I watch these young actors and I think they did a good job portraying their characters. Going by Thai comments, they said they finally understood why the producer and director picked the actor who played Yongyut. Yongyut's character may be aloof, vague, and emotionless, but when it came down to drama, Yongyut nailed it. They cried with him without knowing it and they felt his pain. They said when the camera moved from Yongyut to Thana, they just lost that feeling.

I like the ending and I'm glad Yongyut didn't end up with Raht. It's good that he becomes a monk to pay respect to his mom and dad and to pay the sin/send the blessing to his grandmother.

Well they shouldn't feel any pain, suffering, and drama with Thana because his character is not supposed to portray that. Thana had a better life with families who loved him and support him. They taught him to be happy and to give. Yongyut got the exact opposite. I think they both did well in their roles. If the viewers are to fell pain and drama while they're watching Thana, then he wasn't doing his job

I want to feel sorry for Yut but I don't. E Yam has a lot to answer for, for what she did to Yut and Amporn but a lot of his losses and suffering were from his own actions. I could not care less about his (not)manpain.
E Yam fed him lies about his mom and I don't blame a kid for believing the adult you grew up with but once he became an adult? Then he should've grown a brain and some balls. Adults think for themselves. Even his aunt tried to tell him not to listen to everything E Yam said. He never gave his mom a chance. Even when she was on her deathbed, he still didn't. Rath had to blackmail him to go see his dying mom.
He lost Rath all on his own. He ignored her for months until he saw her with Thana. The woman spent like over 10 years devoted to his worthless butt and he couldn't even call her. He has plenty of people who care for him, as much as Thana or anybody, but he rejects them. That's all on him.

The ending was really good. I like that they didn't rush it and yongyut's ending made sense. He chose the right path because that was the path that brought him back. His acting was on point, he really looked like he let go of everything. Him and alpo will have one bright future.
