I don't understand why they don't just try to translate the Thai Title of the lakorn into English. Why give it a whole different title from the Thai one.

I've seen lengthy titles that aren't even translated. For example Oak Keub Hak Ab Rak Khun Samee. For this one, I actually like the translated title more.

Have you seen the actual book cover? The english title is already mentioned on the book cover "My Husband in Law".

Thong ent maintained the english title as well as the original thai title. English speaking viewers would refer to MHIL while Thai speaking ones would refer to the full thai title. Same goes to Thrab Fah. English viewers would use My Forever Sunshine while locals would uses Thrab Fah Mee Tawan

The trend nowadays with ch3 lakorns, they have english title to cater to non thai viewers. Unlike ch7 for example

I am a fan of Kao and Mark individually but their pictures together and even their scenes in the trailer don't produce enough chemistry for my liking. I didn't feel any excitement on this compared to their previous projects (MSB and MHIL).

Been a fan of Mark since KC and I've seen his wonderful chemistry with Yaya, Taew, Mew, and even Kim. I don't know if I should blame this feeling on Sonix Boom's lack of post production promotion or what?

Hopefully all of these are just bad first impressions and I will grow more love towards their pairing once I see their lakorn in full and not just snippets. I can see the lakorn's story potential more than mhil just coz it came from a better production house. Haha.

Agree.. They didn't promote much while the lakorn was being shot. That's why the hype is a little less. But I think they will make up for it from now onwards. For me the trailer looked interesting.. Hopefully it will turn out to be better made.

I remember Mario and Kim's lakorn last year. Sonix Boom had all-out promotions for their lakorn a month before its premiere date. They were also secretive during Thong Aek's filming process but used various of platforms for promos when its about to air. Really crossing my fingers for them to do the same on TFMT amidst the limitations of the pandemic. Thong Aek was a huge hit last year.

About the trailer, since I've read the book (roughly translated by google lol), I was able to interconnect the little snippets of it to the novel and I'm excited on how Mark and Kao will execute Arthit and Paeng into motion! I have this strong hopes inside me that this will turn out good because its from Sonix Boom and both actors are well-versed on the roles that were given to them. Kao being a scandalous nang'ek and Mark being a mean pra'ek.

It’s definitely Sonix Boom. They are VERY lowkey and it sucks. The good thing about them is they usually produce good lakorns.

This is the reason why I have faith in this lakorn. Though SB is pretty lowkey but I enjoyed their previous works, Thong Aek and Two Spirits Love.

Isn't this lakorn going to have a live simulcast airing in foreign countries through WeTV along with Roy Leh Marnya and Song Sanaeha? It was announced a week ago. By the news of it, I think the live simulcast airing will have eng subs 'coz it will cater foreign viewers?

Though I am not sure whether they'll have subs ready during the live simulcast but since its purpose is to cater foreign viewers it must have eng subs then?

Anyway, what I'm waiting right now is the list of countries that bought the rights for My Forever Sunshine's WETV Live Broadcast. In Roy Leh Marnya, there are 10 foreign countries who can view it with Thailand's broadcast.
