POPE's #1 MIA LUANG
Finished episode 1, finally! Haha.
JARRED THOUGHTS:
-First off, I must say this is quite an impressive first episode. They moved right into the central theme, but are slowly revealing the problem. Which I'm okay with. I usually like it when the central theme is introduced step by step, but it's okay. I'm still living. I'm impressed with the cast and how the writers chose to introduce each of them.
-The characters are pretty interesting thus far. They each have their own dilemma and I'm glad that the writers chose to focus on them at the very beginning letting us know that they are the four key characters in the lakorn.
-Khem is such an *ss, but I'm glad it's not only Su he's an *ss to. His relationship with Gaen kind of throws his personality off, however. Why is he so nice to her? He did say he appreciates her for not deserting him, but why does he want to date her when he's suffering from a broken heart? Could there be a different drive in their relationship? What IS the capacity of their relationship? Anyway, Tik is doing a great job in expressing the sorrow within Khem. When I see him sad it makes me sad too. However, he is kind of stiff in certain scenes.
-I can see that Gaen is not really attached to Khem because she knows deep down he's got a hidden scar, and she doesn't want to push it. She's stopping her self from being indulged in a relationship that could end up indulged in water. Still not liking Rita's acting, but her character gets a point from me for pushing him away!
-Su is soft and tender, yet doesn't easily crumble. I like that she's mentally strong, and I love her comebacks against Khem. I just hope she doesn't become weak in front of her step-daughters. My only question now is what was her purpose for entering Khem's company knowing it was Khem's. The writers will need to explain, and I hope they do. Anne plays her beautifully, almost to the point that makes Su an unreal person.
-Eua is such a gentlemen. I'm loving him already! It's too bad he's Su's step-son or else I'd be rooting for him to get with her all the way. He's crushing on her obviously, but I can tell he's also stopping himself from going a step further. Kong is perfect for that role. He makes these subtle facial expressions that makes me feel for his character. PS, when Kong played the guitar I melted.
-Guy Ratchanon's wifee is also in here?! She plays Vivian the secretary of the character Boy plays.
-One of the songs in here is half Spanish. That is interesting. I'm not in love with the OST, but it's alright. I absolutely do not like the intense music they play though. TOO intense for this kind of romantic/revenge lakorn.
-What are the ratings? Anyone know yet? I wonder if it's explosive? HAHA. Hopefully higher than 10?
-Last comment, Peter Tunistra is freak'n hot! HAHA. He speaks so perfectly in English and Thai. He's just oozing with hotness. :spin:
