[Ch3] Yah Leum Chun (LakornThai)

POPE's #1 MIA LUANG
Finished episode 1, finally! Haha.

JARRED THOUGHTS:

-First off, I must say this is quite an impressive first episode. They moved right into the central theme, but are slowly revealing the problem. Which I'm okay with. I usually like it when the central theme is introduced step by step, but it's okay. I'm still living. I'm impressed with the cast and how the writers chose to introduce each of them.

-The characters are pretty interesting thus far. They each have their own dilemma and I'm glad that the writers chose to focus on them at the very beginning letting us know that they are the four key characters in the lakorn.

-Khem is such an *ss, but I'm glad it's not only Su he's an *ss to. His relationship with Gaen kind of throws his personality off, however. Why is he so nice to her?  He did say he appreciates her for not deserting him, but why does he want to date her when he's suffering from a broken heart? Could there be a different drive in their relationship? What IS the capacity of their relationship? Anyway, Tik is doing a great job in expressing the sorrow within Khem. When I see him sad it makes me sad too. However, he is kind of stiff in certain scenes.

-I can see that Gaen is not really attached to Khem because she knows deep down he's got a hidden scar, and she doesn't want to push it. She's stopping her self from being indulged in a relationship that could end up indulged in water. Still not liking Rita's acting, but her character gets a point from me for pushing him away!

-Su is soft and tender, yet doesn't easily crumble. I like that she's mentally strong, and I love her comebacks against Khem. I just hope she doesn't become weak in front of her step-daughters. My only question now is what was her purpose for entering Khem's company knowing it was Khem's. The writers will need to explain, and I hope they do. Anne plays her beautifully, almost to the point that makes Su an unreal person.

-Eua is such a gentlemen. I'm loving him already! It's too bad he's Su's step-son or else I'd be rooting for him to get with her all the way. He's crushing on her obviously, but I can tell he's also stopping himself from going a step further. Kong is perfect for that role. He makes these subtle facial expressions that makes me feel for his character. PS, when Kong played the guitar I melted.

-Guy Ratchanon's wifee is also in here?! She plays Vivian the secretary of the character Boy plays.

-One of the songs in here is half Spanish. That is interesting. I'm not in love with the OST, but it's alright. I absolutely do not like the intense music they play though. TOO intense for this kind of romantic/revenge lakorn.

-What are the ratings? Anyone know yet? I wonder if it's explosive? HAHA.  Hopefully higher than 10?

-Last comment, Peter Tunistra is freak'n hot! HAHA. He speaks so perfectly in English and Thai. He's just oozing with hotness.  :spin:

I just got started on ep.1. trust me, I quickly skim through bc I was impatient and just wanted to know why tik was so cold to anne why anne does not remember him one bit. tik really is past his prime, or so did anne too but Tik's body and frame reminds me so much of nadech lol it's funny. and he talks like he has no teeth lol

Rita is so eye-refreshing. though i swear she reminds me of chalida. both are pretty.

I think they still got it. Hehe. AnnTik still got it all.

Same here, I was just skimming through it. Tik's acting has been deteriorating but it is much more tolerable than when he was in Wanida.

o has Ann? Or maybe I am just not into her character. Okay she lives in a nice house but drives a crappy car!!!

Kong has aged well, he actually looks better as he ages. When he was still in his prime, I didn't find him attractive at all. He's fortunate that he has a voice that could melt a fragile woman like me. I don't like love square so I hope Kong isn't crushing on her.

And definitely Rita is very eye catching.

Will watch it later thoroughly. And is it just me or all the dramas I have seen last month and this coming month deals with ex lovers!!! And it has to air the same two days as Cunning Single Lady. Great great great. I am going back and forth for several dramas. I think this is the most busiest I have ever become with watching dramas.

I think Tik's still got it, but yes he's stiff. Haha. I think Kong looks great as well. He doesn't look his age at all.
Haha. I'm laughing at your last comment. We pretty much watched the same thing. This season is becoming a very busy drama season. I'm currently committed to three Kdramas and one Tlakorn.

  Katelyn, nice to be here and glad to join you gals here too, this lakorn is just too good to stayed away. :bravo:  I'll be here checking in often.

:coverlaf:  5555555555 I know where you're getting that ideas   while watching I had the flashback too, then I had to reminded myself that 'ya leum chun' came first and stop thinking of our beloved Arshie or else I wouldn't be able to concentrate on this one without thinking of the other one. :loool: There was a bit of changed though, the 1st version she was on her knees on the floor instead of gone out and get the chair and in the 80's there wasn't any phone or iPad LOLz :faint: so yes ASR does comes to mind.

Yes Pete and Siriam version was just as beautiful, I enjoyed it as much too.  All 3 versions has their own spices and uniqueness, which it was good so the audiences has something new to enjoy and looking forward to see as each episode unfolding itself. :w-scene-pop-corn:  Can not wait to see more... 2 episodes per week is just too little. :w-scene-pop-corn:  I'm rewatching 1st episode again with subbed at Anonyblue's just for the heck of it.  hahahaha

Sitting here listing to the OST, P'Bird's voice is still very good and soothing, perfect song and meaning for the storyline.  The female/male version of the other song is very good too.  Too bad couldn't find P'Kong version, but I'll keep trying I'm sure GMM will come out with his version soon enough.

It's just me or those two kids has an "Isan accent" when they speak? :scratchchin:

Lots of versions. HAHA. I was quite surprised.

Yes, the majority of Khun ทมยันตี (Tamayanti) novels/stories will have remakes after remakes.  Look at "Koo Kum" for example, there were so many versions. :bhehe:  lolz.

^By the way if anyone can read Thai and want to read her books/novels you can check info on her and the lists,... etc... at... https://www.facebook.com/tamayanti/photos_stream

Yes, they have an Isan accent.  I love how we always wind up something with ASR in other serials lol

   I thought I was having a hearing problem when I first heard it, I had to rewind back and listen again. 555555 :loool:

Can't help it, because it seem like we(I) lives and breathe ASR.   I don't know when I will ever going to recovered, I can't even enjoy lakorn fully since it ended without nit-picking scenes, then comparing them to Arshie.
Call me crazy, but while watching YLC teaser 2  @20 second... Sirita's scene, I automatically thought of Khushi and her red sari. :yahoo:  :spin: :coverlaf: :faint:

Kong's character(bear with me, it takes me an episode or two to remember names) is so understanding, too bad he's Su's stepson.  :cry1: But he is not Su's soulmate so whatever.

It was his lose, he should have married her when he was given the chance, but instead she had to married his father.

But for sure my heart will breaks for P'Kong (Khun Eua) when he'll found out about Wadee and Khem in the later episode. :teary: :weep:

  OK I don't want to give the storyline away to those that have not seen the previous versions. :bopping:

Its scary when Khem said he will use his money to control his wife...
Its like he's treating her "I'll buy u and u must do whatever I want including sleep with me" :shock2: :shock2:

The rating for 1st episode is 8.37.

p'Eua is the perfect man to married to <3! So understanding and most important, not bipolar like Khem and ASR lol (however, we still wind up with bad guy in the end lol).

I like Pete and Siriam's version (I did not see the other version beside theirs).  Pete was a bit cold in there .. however, when I watched him in there, he reminded me of his character in TOMORROW I WILL LOVE YOU so it was quite hard for me to distinguish these two characters.

Are the ratings considered low or high? For a pilot episode it's good right? I thought it'd be higher since it's AnnTik, but I guess the Thai audience has other things to do instead. HAHA.
