after the engagement party as they went home already. Aum drives her home, then... Aum gave Ann a peck kiss on the cheek... which gave her a surprise.


Aum: i... i... im sorry... i didnt mean-
Ann: no... its ok... we are already engaged...
Aum: yeah... is that mean... i can kiss you?
Ann: huh? (she didnt know what to say... "how could this man is in such a hurry?", she thought.)
Aum: im sorry... i was just kidding... (he smiled.) anyways, i'll see you tomorrow?
Ann: yeah... im going to check out the wedding dress...
Aum: i cant wait to see it...
Ann: dont you believe that the groom doesnt have to see the bride wearing a gown not until the wedding day?
Aum: its just a superstition... why? do you believe in that?
Ann: a little... (she giggle.)
Aum: so you dont want me see wearing that gown tomorrow?

Aum: ok then... i'll go and drop by here at 10am?

Aum finally said goodbye to her as he got inside to his car. then Ann went inside. she saw Pat and Ploy was talking seriously, they talked about Rita again. the fact that she didnt really know what happened awhile ago at the engagement party.

Ann: hey...
Ploy: Ann...
Ann: what were you two talking about?
Pat: its about our bitch sis-
Ann: Pat... dont talk like that.
Pat: im sorry... but she's such a bi-
Ann: Pat...
Pat: okay... okay...
Ploy: this is such a reveal to our family... all these years... we didnt even knew that dad had an affair with someone.
Pat: i just knew that Rita is not mom's real daughter...

Ann was just silent. she knew about it, she knew about her father's affair along time ago... but it was already in the past and her father choose their mother to be with. she was turning 6 years old that time and Aff was still a baby... when another baby just came into their mansion, brought by their father. she couldn't forget the times that their mother cried and always argued with their father at night. months later, their mother finally accept the baby and giving her love equally with Aff. Aff then was a year older from Rita, though their mother always take care of the two babies that time... she never saw her father cared for the baby he brought. even herself accept the baby as her own sister... but she never understand her father that time... until now.

she was silent for a moment, think about the past... until she realize that Ploy was asking something about her.

Ann: what's that again?
Ploy: do you know something about Rita's past?
Ann: i dont know so well...
Pat: but you know something?
Ann: i was 5 years old that time... how can i remember?
Ploy: i see...
Pat: no wonder why she's different to us. maybe her mother is a slut.
Ann: Pat...
Pat: im sorry...
Ann: anyway, she's still our sister... even though she has a different mom... she's still our sister because she has a blood of Thabchumpon, just like us. so dont ever talk to her like that again... also she's older than you two...
Ploy: but im more matured than her...
Pat: i still dont like her...
Ann: dont forsaken Rita. the reason why she's like this... is also because of us.
Ploy: she never learn and she has a man whore... (thinking about Chakrit.)
Ann: Ploy...
Ploy: Ann, why are you so calm? dont you even remember that Rita did something to you...
Ann: it was already in the past... i already forgave her and no matter what happens... nothing can change... because she's our sister afterall.

"that's enough already...", Anchali, their mother just butt in. she heard them talking about their sister Rita.

Pat: mom...
Anchali: its already late... you gotta go to sleep now.

the sisters finally went to their designated rooms, but before Ann could enter to her room... Anchali approach her.

Ann: mom...
Anchali: thank you for standing on Rita...
Ann: its nothing mom...
Anchali: i must be a bad mom to her... i just realize that im worrying right now. i dont even know when she'll come back here.
Ann: dont worry mom... she'll come back.
Anchali: i think i better talk to her... once she's already back. i want to clear up some things to her.
Ann: mom... that's enough... i know that Rita doesnt really hate our family. i dont think she hate you at all... its just... its just that there's a problem that she couldn't even tell to us.
Anchali: i know... your father never understands her... i hope she's fine right now.
Ann: dont worry... she's fine.
Anchali: i hope so... go to sleep now... you'll still meet Aum tomorrow.
Ann: yeah... goodnight, mom...
Anchali: goodnight, dear... (they hugged each other, then finally Ann got inside of her room.)

Aum got out from his car, he was in a casual wear. he dont feel excited afterall, but he thinks that nothing's wrong if he gets to know Ann more and more. today, he wanted to see his future wife fit the gown for their wedding.


as he got inside, Ploy was about to go. he already know where she'll go. she was wearing a business attire and her usually updo hairstyle as he sees her in the office.

Aum: Ploy... where are you going? (he asked, pretending that he didnt know where will she go.)
Ploy: obviously, where do i really go? (she said while smiling at him.)
Aum: i see... well, then business is good... and you're on a roll.
Ploy: i always do... i gotta go now. (she was already late.)
Aum: ok... i'll just see you when i see you...
Ploy: ok... (she opened the door of her car, but Aum forgot to ask something.)
Aum: mmm.... have you seen Aff lately? i didnt see her last night at the engagement...
Ploy: actually, i didnt know where she go... but she always keep herself busy lately.
Aum: i see...
Ploy: gotta go (then she got inside of her car and finally start it.)


as Aum went inside, he greeted Anchali and Pat.

Aum: good morning, Aunt Anchali... Pat...
Pat: why are you still calling my mom 'aunt'... you're going to be part of our family soon...
Anchali: that's right... call me "mom" from now on. okay?
Aum: (he smiled cheerfully. he can feel the warm welcome of Thabchumpon family to him.) okay.... mom. (he change the topic...) where is "dad"? (he also started to call on Ratsami as 'dad'.)
Anchali: he's already in the office.
Aum: i see...
Pat: my sister is still upstairs... dont worry, she'll come out soon.
Anchali: why dont you join our breakfast first...
Aum: its okay, mom... i've already to-
Anchali: i insist. (Aum didnt refuse anymore, since he's going to be part of the family soon.)


at the dining room. while Anchali and Pat started to eat, Aum was still waiting for Ann.

Anchali: Aum... what are you waiting for... eat now...
Aum: i better wait for Ann first...
Pat: awwww... you're so sweet.
Aum: by the way... where is Aff?
Pat: speaking of her... i didnt see her last night.
Anchali: where did she probably go?
Aum: did something happened?
Pat: i dont think so... she was still at the engagement party last night... but after that... i havent seen her.
Anchali: dont worry... she'll text me later. she usually text me where she is...
Aum: i see

then finally Ann came in, as Aum looked at his future wife. she was wearing a simple dress, simple but elegant. he was amaze by her beauty, innocent and so fine.

Ann: good morning...
Aum: (he stand up, he gave her way and let her sit beside her.) good morning.
Pat: geez... i cant wait for Aum to be part of our family soon...
Anchali: he's already part of our family eversince. the Atichart and Thabchumpon has a great bond all these years. (she smiled to her children.)
Ann: mom, do i have to quit to my job?
Anchali: i dont know, dear... we havent even talk about that to your dad yet.
Pat: you should quit, a lot of opportunities waiting. you'll be Aum's wife soon...
Aum: its no problem if Ann doesnt want to quit to her job. besides, that's her line...
Pat: Ann... actually, you can use your art skills in creative department. a lot of companies hires an artist for their business to grow.
Aum: you speak as if you're convincing your sister to work in the company... when will you start working in the company?
Pat: after i finish my master's degree.
Aum: i see... keep it up. im looking forward to work with you...
Ann: i guess, i should take it as a suggestion. mom, can you help me to talk about it with dad?
Anchali: dont worry... i'll help you. right now, im not just worried about your sister Rita... but also Aff. she didnt call or text yet. but im sure she's fine.
Ann: i've just notice that i didnt see Aff since last night... but im glad you're being positive, mom.
Pat: mmm... mom, i'll go hangout with my friends today. we're going to watch a movie.
Anchali: ok... did you already ask permission to your father?
Pat: yeah... i already told him last night.

after their breakfast... Aum and Ann went ahead to the shop, where her wedding gown awaits to fit. Aum told Ann that after the fitting, he was inviting her to hang around. at first, Ann was hesitant of his invitation... but in the end she accept it. besides, Aum is going to be her husband soon, also she wants to know Aum better.

Aff just woke up, as she woke up... got outside of the guest room and she saw Joy was sleeping at the living room. she remember that she got so many things to do, so she just wrote a letter and leave at the top of the center table. she didnt have time to change her clothes, but glad she got extra clothes in her office.

aside from so many things to do, today she was expecting to meet Ken Wongrutiyan. if he's not coming, he rather ask Por about his brother's whereabouts. she want to pour all her attention from work eversince Aum always seeing her sister everyday. she doesnt hangout anymore with him, nor to their friends. she just want keep herself busy.... her reason? is to forget him.

she received a message to her intercom, the secretary was telling that there's someone wanted to see her and meet him at the ground floor, restaurant. well then, she already guess if who was it... and besides, she didnt even took breakfast at Joy's pad yet.

just as she thought, a man who was sitting at afar... last night, she cant hardly recognized Ken Wongrutiyan because it was dark then. right now, she sees him clearly. Ken Wongrutiyan is not a well-groomed man, having mustache and a hair until shoulder. he's not like what she imagine as President of this hotel, he just look like a mob boss or a drug lord because of his whole appearance. he was wearing all black suit, yes, he's wearing formal attire like businessmen do... but he still doesnt look like a businessman. "what are you thinking Aff? you're being judgemental... you didnt even know him yet...", she thought. she took a deep breath and she went to where he was sitting.

"how do i look?", Ann just got out of the fitting room, wearing the gown for their wedding. Aum smiled as he saw his future wife wearing the wedding gown. in a week, their grand wedding will be one of the exclusive wedding of the year.

Aum: you.... you look great... (he was speechless, he just realize that how come he just met her. knowing that Ann will be his wife soon.)
Ann: we'll be back here this weekend... because they still have to finish the bead work of this gown.
Aum: ok... mmm.... where do you wanna go after this?
Ann: we better go see the wedding planner, at least, we have to know if how's everything.
Aum: ok... (the way he sees Ann right now, he was overwhelmed that she's excited about their wedding.)

honestly telling; he was the one who is more excited about it... he just knew Ann for a month only... but it seems he started to like her. she was graceful and all, he havent feel this way before... he was simply stunned of her beauty and innocence. in a short time of getting to know her... he always do his duty, like picking her up at the university and always dining out. he's already admitting to himself that he likes this woman. "Aum, why dont we go for a lunch first... i wanted to visit Aff at the hotel", she said. that must be a great idea, to let Aum see Aff if how's she doing... he was wondering if what keeps her busy, that would make him not to see her.

"it seems like business is good.... Ms. Aff Thabchumpon", Ken was just being formal, sipping his coffee. Aff seated at the opposite side to face and make things clear to Ken Wongrutiyan. "i still cant forget what you asked me last time... being mysterious???", he continued.

Aff: i already know why you're being mysterious...
Ken: oh, really? can you please tell me... Ms. Aff Thabchumpon?
Aff: tell me Mr. Ken Wongrutiyan... why are you in that kind of place? i cant believe a person like you has illegal business. seeing you just now, makes me regret to be a business partner of this hotel.
Ken: i see... (he paused of a moment.) you see, you dont know me at all, Ms. Aff Thabchumpon. tell me, why did you went to that place last night? i never expected you to come.
Aff: it doesnt matter if how did i went to that place... all i know and all this time, you were only hiding in that place... and its because you were more busy doing illegal business... how can you leave your work to me and to your brother?
Ken: dont ever talk to me like that... because i know what's happening here. even though im not here... im always updated.
Aff: updated? oh yeah, Por mentioned that you know what's going on here. but you never cared to come and check if how's everything here.
Ken: so you're mad at me only because of that?
Aff: yes!...
Ken: well then, how about this... once i finish my business in Japan.... i'll be back here to work with you from now on.
Aff: you're just saying that but in fact... you're just leaving your work.
Ken: no... i keep my word Ms. Aff Thabchumpon. in two days time... i'll be back here to start working with you. tomorrow is my flight to Japan. (before they end up their conversation... he wanted to ask last time.) by the way, Ms. Aff Thabchumpon... do you know where Joy is?
Aff: she's at her pad... why?
Ken: it seems like i cant reach her phone.
Aff: maybe she turn it off...
Ken: i see...
Aff: can you come by to my office after this? i need to show you some documents.
Ken: ok.

after their conversation, they went ahead to her office.

Rita spend the whole night at Chakrit's pad, after what happened last night. as usual, they spend the night together. but Rita woke up early to make him a delightful breakfast in bed, she still owe Chakrit a lot... she realize that Chakrit love her after all. she thought that they only have this kind of affair, the thought that their only bedmates. but just now, she realize one thing... she want their relationship to be serious, after all... she defend him because she knew that he care about her. "breakfast in bed, hun...", she said sweetly, sitting beside him at the bed. she gave him a kiss, just like lovers do.

Chakrit: so...mmmm... when will you go home?
Rita: (she was stunned for a moment. what about? "does he want me to go home?", her mind was asking.) what do you mean...
Chakrit: i was just asking...
Rita: i will not go home anymore... i want to stay here with you. (that's she felt right now, she doesnt want to go home and rather stay with Chakrit forever.) why? dont you want me to stay here?
Chakrit: that's not what im saying. i just thought that you should at least reconcile with them. they're your family.
Rita: but i wanna stay here with you... i dont wanna come back there anymore.
Chakrit: there's no problem with if you stay here... stay as long as you want here.
Rita: really? (she hugged him so tight...) i love you...(she'll never get tired of saying those words to him. she loved him. even they make love, she always whisper those words.)
Chakrit: (but everytime she say those words to him, he doesnt know how to reply to her, he just cant say it and he doesnt know why. he dont wanna get serious.)but there's something else i want to say...
Rita: (she looked at him again. they were having a serious conversation.) what?
Chakrit: you can do whatever you want here... and i'll do mine. no strings attach. ok?
Rita: ok (being dismay. she just heard from him that he's still the same at all. he doesnt want to get in serious relationship.)

"so what are we? what kind of relationship do we really have?", her heart was shouting at him. she wanted to ask him so badly but its already clear that they're only having an affair. bedmates... playmates...

"i'll just see you in two days time...", Ken finally walk out to her office, bringing with him the documents that Aff gave him. she cant believe that a person like him is such a busy person, he got businesses outside the country. but yes, today she's being judgemental. the Ken Wongrutiyan is the person she always picture out, he looks different in person and just like she said... very mysterious.

when Ken got out of the hotel, he accidentally bumped on a woman. it was like slow motion that time as her eyes locked into him, he also cant take off his eyes of her. "i... i... im sorry...", he said and was trying to help her. but it was already late when her man helped her. he apologize to the man. just looking at them, he realize that they're a couple. "its alright... im sorry too... because i wasnt looking at my way", she said. her voice reminds of his past, he doesnt understand why. he hurriedly went outside of the hotel and get into his car.

as he got inside of his car, his past was started show up in his mind.

"Mae!!!! Mae!!!....", he cried, while hugging the woman he loved. he didnt understand why his fiance committed suicide. he called an ambulance, but it was already too late when they got in the hospital. dead on arrival. he just lost the person he loved most....


"Ahhhhhhhhh....!!!!", he was holding his head while remembering his past. he cant take it anymore, he thought he could forget her. but he cant. its been 3 years... but he's still mourning, he's still suffering from his past.

they're going to visit Aff, she wanted to know why her sister didnt went home last night. Aum was holding Ann as they got inside of the elevator.

Aum: are you alright? (he was caressing her, because of the accident awhile ago at the entrance of the hotel.)
Ann: yeah... im fine.
Aum: that man... he doesnt even looking his way...
Ann: its okay... he didnt mean it. besides, its my fault at the same time. i wasnt paying attention.
Aum: well, next time you should be careful. that guy is such a weirdo, he looks like a bad guy...

she just smile at him, but she doesnt understand her feelings awhile ago... she didnt even know why their eyes lock with each other. as they finally reach the top floor, they went to see Aff in the office.

"Ma'am, Ms. Ann Thabchumpon and Mr. Aum Atichart is here to see you", her secretary excuse herself right away, she didnt expect her sister to visit her together with Aum. "what are they trying to show? why do they have to show up on me?", she was asking herself. she let out a big sigh, she has to act up again.

Ann: Aff...
Aff: Ann... (then Aum came in. her heart beats faster again.) Aum... what are you two doing here?
Ann: nothing... we just came to visit, i was just hoping that you could join us for lunch.
Aff: im already finish... i ate with someone... (she thinks about Ken Wongrutiyan.)
Aum: what makes you busy... when i visit at your house... you're always not around.
Aff: i've got lot of things to do...
Ann: why didnt you go home last night? where did you sleep last night?
Aff: are you two just came here to ask me that?
Ann: no. we just want to see how are you recently. Aum here is also looking for you...
Aff: ("he does?", her heart was asking, looking at him.) im just busy. besides, i really dont have time for HANGING OUT.
Ann: i see... are you going home tonight?
Aff: of course... i just went to see Joy last night. that's all. (then, she change the topic...) so... how's everything? are you two done with wedding preparations?
Ann: yeah... i think everything is settled.
Aum: arent you coming with us for lunch?
Aff: i cant Aum... you see, im really busy right now.
Ann: well then, we're going now. i'll just call mom to tell her that we visit you.
Aff: ok.

Ann and Aum finally leave. she wanted to cry again but no tears falling from her cheek at all. her heart was crying silently. maybe she needs to go somewhere to accept everything and forget this feeling. once she's back, maybe she's already fine.

Ploy just received a message from the other company, that they're President Rome Patchata just come back from the States.

"finally, i could get a chance to negotiate with him.", she said. she waited long enough, Rome Patchata is the president and owner Patchata Architecture Firm. her father told her to contact this person 3 months ago but Rome Pachata is in the States and the company didnt know when he'll come back. but finally, he's back and she has to set an appointment to meet him. her father bought an island and plan to build a resort... he want Rome Patchata to be the architect and design the whole concept of the resort.


Rome just got out of the airport. he's finally back, lately he didnt get some sleep after his project in US. he wanted to take some rest for awhile, but he believe that he cant. his secretary, faxed him the project list that he will have once he's back. one of the list is the Thabchumpon's new project business.

"a resort...", he count his fingers if how he'll estimate his time work of this project. he knows that Thabchumpon in business circle is very meticulous and perfectionist. also he remembered that Mr. Ratsami Thabchumpon has five daughters, one of them is an interior designer. he was wondering if he could work one of the five daughters. besides, this is the first time work to with Thabchumpon's project.

meanwhile, Por was strolling inside the mall. after what happened last night, he already made up his mind. he decided to go back in Paris and continue his master's degree. he missed out half-year of his masteral. he didnt continue his six months left of his degree because his brother told him to manage the hotel as soon as possible. hotel management is even not his line, so why should he manage it. besides, he's graduate of music and arts.

eversince their mom died, he's the one who continue the dream of his mom. he use to play different kinds of instruments because of their mom. but because of their father, they have to give up their dreams. one of the reasons why his brother runaway along time ago... it's because of their father.

he's out of his mind already... he just keeps walking and walking inside the mall.


Pat was concentrating eating her ice cream while strolling at the mall, she was almost waiting for an hour to meet her friends. she's already pissed off, so rather standing... she decided to stroll around while walking.

BAM~!

Por: what the-! (he looked at his shirt, having a chocolate ice cream stain. when he look at the person who bumped him and the one stained his shirt.) You~!....
Pat: my ice cream.... (then she looked at him, realizing that he was one he got bumped a month ago... and they meet again!) You again~!
Por: look, what have you done to my shirt!
Pat: you're not looking to your way!
Por: im not looking??? maybe you're the one who's not looking your way. you stained my shirt.... grrrr.... why with all places-!
Pat: huh, just serves you right! because you harassed me last time!
Por: hey! i didnt harassed you! it was your fault that time and now its your fault again!
Pat: my fault! hey, i can still remember what happened last time. im not that stupid... you're the arrogant one!
Por: and what about you!... you're the clumsy one! you owe me this time... i cant walk like this inside the mall.... having stain on my shirt!
Pat: no way! (she ignored him, she started to walk away but he caught her hand.) get off your hands off me~! you're harassing me again!
Por: shut up! im not harassing you!... you owe me this time and you have to buy me a shirt!
Pat: what!?! no!!!! no way! let me go! (she cant get away from him no matter how much force she was putting.)

she finally gave up and give what he wanted. she bought him a shirt, but she was thinking that if ever she sees him again... she'll make sure that he'll lose from her.

Por: huh~! now, i hope you learn your lesson...
Pat: what lesson!?! i will not lose to you next time... i'll tell my dad that you harass me...
Por: why dont you stop that already... i didnt harass you, it was an attempt...
Pat: its still the same~! (she get her phone inside her bag. then she took a picture of him.)
Por: what was that about!???! delete it!
Pat: why should i??? i told you... i wont lose the next time i see you... (she showed her phone to him, having his picture.) this is just a warning... i will report you to the police next time~! i will tell my dad that you harass me! (then she leave him.)

"that girl has something... she's the worst...", he said, while watching her leaving.

I feel bad for Rita... Ploy and Pat didn't have to treat her like such an outsider, just cause she has a different Mom! And I feel bad for her cause Chakrit isn't reciprocating the feelings that she has for him.

i know... actually, when i first post this... i had the names assigned on them. but someone suggested me to rather use the real names. because its kinda confusing with that though. except only, i have to use a last name for "the sisters" and the brothers "ken and por". but anyways, like i said before im trying to achieve like having 7-8 scenes each chapter. that's why expect for upcoming long chapters this time. the longer, the better to understand the situation of each character.

at around 8 in the evening Aff finally went home, she also received a text from Joy that she'll leave for a couple of days. her father was sitting at living room when she came in.


Ratsami: where have you been? why you didnt go home last night?
Aff: im sorry, dad... i didnt text last night.
Ratsami: we were worried about you last night...
Aff: i went to see Joy last night.
Ratsami: i see... i thought you went to chase your sister... (he was referring to Rita.)
Aff: huh? who?
Ratsami: your great sister Rita.
Aff: why what happened?
Anchali: (as her mother approach her.) she and your father had a big fight... (then Aff gave her mom a kiss.) and she choose to be with her boyfriend.
Aff: (a flashback just came through her, she remembered that Rita and the guy was making up.) i... i see...
Anchali: Aff, dear... if you happen to see your sister. please tell her to come back.
Ratsami: no... she'll never come back here anymore. i dont wanna see her anymore! she chose that guy, so let it-
Anchali: Ratsami! she's still your daughter... (Aff was just looking at her parents who's starts arguing again because of her sister Rita.)
Aff: mom... dad...
Achali: Aff, get inside to your room now. me and your dad will just talk.
Aff: okay...

then Aff finally went upstairs, leaving her parents to have a private talk. she went straight to their study room, where her sisters are all there. as she opened the door, she saw Ploy is surfing on the net and Pat was helping Ploy to do some of the documents at the other computer, while her sister Ann was reading a book.

Pat: Aff...
Ploy: where have you been?
Aff: i went to see Joy last night...
Ann: i thought you're not going home today.
Aff: no... like i said awhile ago, i will go home today. i just spent a night on Joy's pad only. (then Ann went back to read the book that she's reading.)

"Ah... so this is Rome Pachata...", Ploy said while looking at the screen of the monitor. she had just search on the web if what Rome Patchata look like.

Pat: let me see... (then Pat look at it.) whoah... he's looks handsome.
Ploy: i know. i just read his profile, he's single... and one of the most eligible bachelors in town.
Pat: hey, Ploy... you're blushing right??? (she started to tease her sister again...)
Ploy: of course not... look here, he said... he got no time for relationships... he's a workaholic.
Pat: just like you, sis! you're also workaholic... see you're compatible with each other.
Ploy: will you just shut up... just continue what you're doing!
Ann: hey... will you stop that now?

she notice that her sisters were busy on what they're doing. unlike her, she's already done with her works, she let herself overtime in the hotel and to bring her work once she's at home.

Aff: i'll change my clothes now.
Ann: did you already eat?... we left you some food.
Aff: im finish.
Ann: i was hoping that you havent eat yet, because Aum cooked some delicious food.
Aff: ("Aum again???", her mind said.) no, thanks... i already ate dinner with someone.
Pat: with someone??? is that mean you're dating someone?
Aff: Pat... it doesnt mean that i ate with someone... means a date. now, excuse me. i need to change. (then she got out of the room.)
Pat: what's wrong with her???
Ploy: maybe she's tired from work.
Ann: yeah... and Pat... stop teasing already.
Pat: im not teasing... im just curious... because everyone seems busy with their own lives.

Pat: hey... i always go home early to spend time with my family. while you guys are busy...
Ann: (she just smile, she cant believe that Pat still needs attention.) once you work... you'll see... you'll get yourself busy from different things.

then she gave the document to Ploy.

"i believe this is it...", he looked at the piece of paper, yesterday he just knew that Chakrit transfer to this new condominium. his cousin told him that its near to his hospital. Rome wonder if his cousin is at home, his cousin didnt even get a chance to fetch him at the airport. he was planning that he'll hangout with him just for a night and then by tomorrow he's going back to his company to work.

meanwhile, Rita was just alone at Chakrit's pad. since her "FuBu Lover" have a night shift, she's always alone at night. right now, she's just doing some sketches of new furniture designs. she recently received a project from other company, the company loves her design so much and wanted to hire her. but she refuse to, she wants to be a freelance interior designer. she didnt even accept her sister Ploy's proposal for the upcoming business project of their family. because she knows that her sister is very perfectionist and very meticulous... plus, Ploy never appreciate her work before when one time she was given a chance to interior decorate the whole main store of textile silk.

Rita just heard a doorbell, she wasnt expecting Chakrit to come back this early. "maybe he left something...", she said. as she open the door.

[slow motion mode, when Rita opened the door and Rome was standing...]

the man was stunning with his gorgeous look, very manly and sophisticated. their eyes locked with each other, Rita felt like she might melt anytime if she cant take away her eyes off him.

Rita: uh... uh... uh.... ye-yes? (she doesnt know why she's trembling and her beats faster.)
Rome: is this Mr. Chakrit Yamnam's pad?
Rita: ("mmm... he's very formal", she thought.) mmm... yes... why? who are you?
Rome: im his cousin... Rome Pachata.
Rita: ohh.... you're the one whom Chakrit's telling about. co-come in. (she smiled as she's welcoming him.)


she let him sit at the living room, she was rattled for a moment, didnt know what to do... maybe because she was just simply stunned with this guy, at first she cant believe that Chakrit's cousin would be look handsome. everytime Chakrit talks about his cousin, this man wasnt the one whom she's picturing out. she was thinking that "Rome" is an old man, the kind of old man who's very arrogant. because like Chakrit said... as he describes him "Rome is very workaholic and often scolds his people because of its laziness....". but as she looked at him, she thinks that Chakrit's wrong... very wrong. "he doesnt even look like what he said", she thought again.

Rome notice that this woman keeps looking at him, he knew already that this woman is one of Chakrit's girl. he never met someone who's staying at his cousin's pad before, because he usually meet Chakrit's girl at the bar if they hangout or if not in the bar... sometimes in the hospital. he knew his cousin as "player", never wanted to commit serious relationship... but this one is different, its the first time to see someone in his pad. maybe they're....

Rome: where's Chakrit?
Rita: he's in the hospital. he'll be home tomorrow morning.... (Rita sit at other sofa.) do you want me to call him?
Rome: yes, please...
Rita: ok.

she got her phone to call Chakrit. but no one's answering, maybe Chakrit has an appointment for an operation. then, she notice that Rome was looking at her sketches. she put down the phone.

Rita: uh... no one's answering. (then she hurriedly pick up her sketches at the table. she wanted to get the other sketch but Rome was still looking at it.)
Rome: did you sketched this? (he asked, still looking at her sketch.)
Rita: mmm... yeah. (she notice that he was interested to her sketches. so she decided to put down her sketches at the top of the center table.) do you want something to eat or drink? juice? coffee? uh... water?
Rome: you know what... there's still something missing here... and the design seems so old. (did she just heard it right? he just criticize her work.)
Rita: we-well.... it's not final yet. im just doodling...
Rome: doodle? you call this doodle? (as he looked at her sketches, he was just simply amaze by her sketches.)
Rita: (she started to feel irritated. maybe Chakrit was right. she wanted to change the topic.) do you want something? uh... water??? (because he criticized her work, she doesnt want to offer something. she really felt bad because no one criticize her work before.)
Rome: didnt you offer some coffee before?
Rita: oh... okay then...
Rome: black coffee, please... no sugar.

she went to the kitchen and she just realize that Chakrit was right. yes, he's right. this man... he maybe be good looking... but she can feel his arrogant attitude and she never experience criticizing her works... just him only. even Chakrit likes her works, its her first time for someone to criticize her work. she started to hate him. "no sugar, huh???", she put a lot of sugar to the coffee.

"this woman... she simply amaze me", he said. he kept one of her works, while she's at the kitchen. because he might need her help someday. he knew that this woman could help him with some future projects... and speaking of Thabchumpon's project, he might recommend her for that project.

Rita: here's your coffee... (she just came out of the kitchen and gave him what he asked for.)
Rome: so... your a furniture designer? (he took the coffee and put at the top of the center table.)
Rita: im just freelance interior designer...
Rome: i see... that is why... (then he tried to sip the coffee.)
Rita: that is why, what?... (there must be some missing words.)

but as Rome sipped the coffee, he just spit it out. Rita silently giggled as she looked at him. then Rome had hard cough because of the coffee. he just taste the worst coffee in the world, worst than his secretary's coffee.

Rome: didnt i told you that 'no sugar'???
Rita: i... i... forgot it. im sorry (she laugh silently "serves you right... that is for criticizing my work!", she said to herself... while looking at him.)
Rome: i think i better go... i'll just call Chakrit later.
Rita: okay... ("you better go now before i'll poison you...", she said to herself. then they both reach the doorway.)
Rome: its nice meeting you...???? (he was asking for her name and offering her a handshake.)
Rita: mmmm.... "Sugar"... (she was trying to tease him because of the sugar she put in the coffee.)
Rome: ok... Sugar... nice meeting you.
Rita: you too... (she smiled sarcastically.)
Rome: by the way, just keep practicing... then if you get better... there are lot of companies will hire you. goodbye, Sugar... its nice meeting you again... (she gave her last smile to say goodbye to this guy, then she close the door.)


"are you crazy??? i dont need to practice anymore because im over qualified, you damn ass!", she said as close the door. a lot of companies wanted her talent, but this man doesnt know her at all. if she didnt decide to be a freelancer designer and accept to work in a company... maybe she's always in tv and newspaper. but she decided to keep her profile low, but a lot of hi-so people and businessmen wants her to hire... because aside from being talented, she carries the last name and one of the "five daughters" of Ratsami Thabchumpon.

he assigned a private dective to look for their lost sister, even though he hasnt told Por yet, but definitely someday he'll tell him. Alak Chatichai is his private detective to find his lost sister and now he just gave him the result.

they were in his private room, when he made an appointment to Alak to see him there. Alak gave him the piece of envelop that contains some pictures and profile of his sister.

Ken: so this is my sister??? (he looked at the picture.)
Alak: yes... we've been search all over her profile. she's your lost sister.
Ken: (then he read the whole profile of her lost sister.) ANN THABCHUMPON....
Alak: this might be a big reveal in the media if the eldest daughter of the "five daughters" of Ratsami Thabchumpon knew this...
Ken: of course he knew this... he's the only person kept this secret for years.
Alak: what i mean is... if the media will know about this... this news will spread all over. i was just wondering if what will you do next...

the next morning, Ploy felt excited to meet their architect for their business project. she thinks that, she'll might get a chance to meet him more... aside from meeting him personally today.

because of her work and got no time to check her car's condition, while on the driveway she just notice that no matter how many times she stepped on the brake padel, she cant stop it. "what's happening!???! shit!", she keeps stepping on the brake padel but it doesnt work.

she turned right but she end up a bump crash at the post light. she hit her head of the steering wheel, the blood on her head was dripping all over her face.

[faded scene, sound of an ambulance.]

she was brought in the hospital, she was still unconscious. Doctor Chakrit Yamnam was about to go, he had a successful operation and he was tired already... when he saw an unconscious woman head towards the ER. he then want to take a look. he was shock when he saw Rita's sister.

Chakrit: what happened!?! (he felt the panic at the same time, he asked one of the nurses.)
Nurse: there was a car crash at the driveway and this woman got serious injury...
Chakrit: what!?! (he look at the ER room where she was brought.) let me handle this... (then he got his phone and trace Rita's number, he gave it to the nurse.) here... please call this number and tell that her sister got accident!
Nurse: yes, doc...
Chakrit: hurry!

he hurriedly went ahead to the ER, while the nurse call the person whom Doctor Chakrit Yamnam's referring. Rita.

Rita: what!?!
Nurse: your sister is still at the ER and Doctor Yamnam's is handling right now.
Rita: okay-okay... just tell him, that i'll go there now!

she put down the phone and dress up hurriedly. but she forgot to call her parents, so she picked up the phone and called her mother.


"what!?! how's your sister now.... okay-okay... we'll go there now!", Anchali almost got nervous break-down because she just got a call from Rita saying that Ploy got accident. Ann and Pat wonder what's happening. then she looked at her daughters and say "Ploy got accident. Rita just called...", she didnt dare to dress anymore and hurriedly went to the car. Ann and Pat go with their mother head to the hospital right away.

when they finally reach the hospital, they saw Rita was sitting and waiting for the result. Rita hugged her mom, while Ann and Pat was just watching at them. they saw Rita was crying and was panicking at the same time.

Anchali: how's your sister???
Rita: i dont know... she's still at the emergency room, Chakrit's working on it... (both Ann and Pat can see that Rita is worrying so much about their sister.)

finally, Chakrit came out of the emergency room...

Anchali: how's my daughter???
Chakrit: she's already fine. she'll be transfer at the private room.
Ann: thank you so much... (Rita hugged Chakrit and still crying.)

Pat was just silent, she's worried about her sister but she cant believe that HE'S A DOCTOR and the one saved her sister's life. she's really pissed off because he was the one whom she saw making up with Rita at the engagement party.

Anchali: wait... i'll just call your father...
Ann: ok, mom... i think i better call Aff too...
Anchali: ok...

Anchali excuse herself to call their father to know about what just happened to Ploy.

Por just received a call from his brother Ken, his brother wants to see him because there's something important that he wanted to say, but he wonder what it is. so get up on his chair and went out from his office, he saw Aff was going too and was in hurry.

Por: Aff... where are you going?
Aff: i gotta go... my sister is in the hospital.
Por: i see... (then he watch her walking away.)

he went to the place where his brother always hangs out. as he got inside of the restaurant, he was about to go at the underground but Ken was sitting and eating his lunch at the restaurant. he wasnt in the underground place, Ken called him as he waved his right hand at him.

Por: what do you want? (he sit at the opposite side to face his brother.)
Ken: why dont you order some food first...
Por: im already finish... what do you want? (he want his brother to get straight to the point.)
Ken: i just wanna say sorry about what happened last time. (Por just sigh, he doesnt want to listen to him anymore.) look, you dont want me to keep secrets from you anymore, right?... the reason why i called you is because i want to tell you that the only secret that im keeping from you all these years... is that father had request for me before he died.
Por: a request?
Ken: yes... i know... you're still blaming about our father's death. but actually... it was only your way of thinking... i didnt cause dad's death. in fact, he already accept us.
Por: i dont understand you...
Ken: just listen to me first.... (Por knew that his brother is being serious now.) if you want to continue your masteral degree, that is no big problem for me... but i was hoping that you could set aside that first help me to look for OUR SISTER...
Por: what???
Ken: yes, Por... we have a sister. this was our father's last request before he died.
Por: wait... father's last request is to find our sister??? you mean father had an affair with someone along time ago?
Ken: no... it was mother's... he didnt explain it to me anymore about mom's affair a long time ago, but father said that he cant forgive himself if he cant find mom's daughter....

there were silence for a moment. Por, himself, just knew about this. all this time his brother keep this secret for years... but he realize that he didnt have time to tell him because he ran away that time.

Por: so, what do you want me to do?
Ken: im just requesting you to set aside your plans on going back to Paris. i want you to help to find our sister...

he was just only looking at his brother, he can see in his brother's eyes that he eagerly wanted to find their sister. besides, he just realize that he wanted to have someone to be part of their family. its been years since only them, his brother living alone. maybe his brother was missing their mother so much and so he was. maybe once they saw their sister, it just resembles their mother.

Por: fine... okay, i will help you to find our sister. (he slight smile to cheer up his brother a little.)
Ken: thanks, bro! (he tried to reach him and tapped his shoulder.)

when Ratsami received a call from Anchali, he went straight to the hospital to see his daughter's condition. but when he arrived at the hospital, aside from Ann, Aff, Pat and Anchali... he also saw Rita. they were all worried.

Ratsami: how's Ploy!?! (worried in his eyes while he was holding Anchali's hand.)
Anchali: she's already fine. she's resting right now. the doctor said that we can visit her tomorrow...
Pat: dad... (she gave her father a hugged. but Ratsami's attention was on Rita, that made him mad.)
Ratsami: what are you doing here!?!
Ann: dad...
Ratsami: what are you doing here!?! why are you showing up your face to us!?! you're not part of our family-! (he was pointing on Rita and Rita started to cry.)
Anchali: Ratsami! stop that already! Rita was the one who called us to get here! if not because of her... we didnt know what happened to Ploy!
Ratsami: maybe she's the reason why Ploy got accident! (he attempted to slap Rita for no reason but Ann resist him.)
Ann: dad! what the hell are you doing~! (for the first time Ann raise her voice to her father.) you're not suppose to do that to your own daughter~! (Ratsami was a bit shocked of what Ann said and for the first he heard his daughter raise some voice on him.)
Pat: dad... we're in the hospital (she then for the first time defend on Rita. as she stared at Rita who's still crying.)

then Chakrit appeared to see what's happening, Ratsami didnt care at all and was even getting mad at her when he saw her man.

Ratsami: what are you doing!?! why you two have to show up here!?! (he was referring to Rita and Chakrit.)
Anchali: Ratsami! stop that already! he's the one who save our daughter's life~!

he just stared at him silently, why with all people... he dont want this guy to show up on him together with Rita, but he hardly made a big mistake right now... this time, he cant blame them and have no right to scold them at all.

Rita cant take it anymore and runaway, Chakrit followed her. Aff looked at the two who runaway. Ann gave Aff a signal to follow the two, so Aff went to follow them.

", she cried over his shoulders. she doesnt know why her father hates her so much, she didnt even do anything wrong. even though Ploy hates her, because of what happened... she was the first one to feel worried. but her father blamed her of Ploy's accident. "shh...shhh.... hush now...", Chakrit whispered to her and he gave her a warm hugged and kiss her forehead.

Aff silently envy Rita... despite of their father hates her. she was watching the two hugging each other. yes, she felt jealous at the same time. how she wish that someone could love her like that. how she wish it was Aum.... "what was i thinking again??? i shouldn't have thinking of him again... he's going to marry her sister and i have no chance anymore...", she thought. she was about to approach them but her phone rang. as she dig in to her bag and get her phone, it was unregistered number... but she still answer it.

Aff: hello?
???: Ms. Aff Thabchumpon...
Aff: who's this?
???: Ken.
Aff: how did you get my number?
Ken: from Por...
Aff: what do you want? didnt you said that you'll come back tomorrow and meet me?
Ken: actually, i need to meet you right now. its really important.
Aff: i cant... im in the hospital... my sister got accident.
Ken: what!?! (he wanted to know if what happened to her sister, but at the same time... he wanted to know if who got accident. he wanted to know if his sister got accident.) wha-what happened to you sister???

Aff: (she looked at her phone, she was wondering why Ken Wongrutiyan eagerly wanted to know.) anyway, what do you really want from me?

she wanted to refuse to meet him today, but he still insist and wanted her to meet, so she decided to meet him. she approach the two before she could go. she wanted to convince Rita to talk to their father.

Rita: Aff... (Chakrit and her both looked at Aff.)
Aff: i advice you to talk to dad personally. if you'll just ask forgiveness to him, im sure he'll forgive-

Aff: Rita... i believe he doesnt really hate you... he's just treating you like this... because you never follow what he says eversince...
Chakrit: i believe that... you should talk to your dad...

Aff: Rita... dad loves us. he doesnt have the favorite ones nor he hates... all you just have to do is to ask forgiveness. that's it.
Rita: Chakrit... (she was looking at him, she's afraid to talk to her father... because it might end up that he hates her after all.)
Chakrit: your sister is right... dont worry, it'll be fine. (he gave her another kiss to encourage her more.)
Aff: (she doesnt want to be on that kind of sweet again. "how come this guy loves her so much?", her mind asked again.) i... i... i gotta go now.
Rita: where are you going?
Aff: i have to meet someone... its really urgent. can you just tell mom and dad that i have business meeting with someone?

Rita just nod and Aff finally left.

he was just waiting at the same place, at his private room. awhile ago, when he talked to his brother Por... half of it is lie. he didnt told him that he already found their sister, because she was planning something to get close with the Thabchumpon family. while waiting for Aff to see him, he went to the resto-bar and decided unwind around at the bar. he went to the small stage and decided to play the white grand piano.

the people who were sitting and unwinding at the same, looked at him as he plays the piano piece that he composed two years ago. for some reason, he didnt know why he wanted to play the piece that he always wanted to dedicate to the person he loved. its been a year since he didnt play the piano, after mother died.... he just only wanted to play and didnt care about his father wants from him. as the music goes, he just cant stop it now and was continue playing and playing. memories flashback to his mind again, but as he finish the piece. he just realize that he cant control his feelings right now, tears fall down to his eyes and the people at the resto-bar clap their hands for the amazing piece he just played.

when he came down the stage, he just realize that Aff was standing at the bar side and just saw him playing the piano awhile ago.

Ken: im sorry, i was not in my room... i didnt notice you-
Aff: i didnt know that you know how play a piano. i like the piece tha you were playing... my sister always listening to that piece.
Ken: your sister?
Aff: my sister ANN likes to listen in instrumentals.
Ken: uh.... i... i see.... ("my sister likes to listen to my compositions???", his heart jumped with happiness for some reason. he cant believe that his sister likes some instrumentals just like him and his brother Por.)

Ken: oh, yeah... let's talk about it at my room.

Ken: there's something i have to show you... follow me. (he cleared his throat and started to be serious again.)

as they finally reached his private room, he went to his table and get the document file. it was the file that she signed the day before yesterday.

Ken: this is the document you signed when Joy borrowed some money.
Aff: then?
Ken: since i cant contact your friend... I WANT YOU PAY OF WHAT SHE OWES ME....

Ken: look here... you've signed this document as a witnessed and THE ONE WHO HAS TO PAY FOR IT... IF YOUR DEAR FRIEND WILL NOT PAY IN TWO DAYS TIME...

he turned his chair to not to talk her anymore. he knew what's going to happen next...

Aff: wait... please dont do anything to Joy...
Ken: you may go now.... you're not involve here anymore.
Aff: Ken Wongrutiyan! why do you have to do this???
Ken: i said... you may go now!
Aff: please dont do anything to Joy! fine... i'll pay for it. (then Ken turn around again to face her.) bu-but... i dont have the money yet...
Ken: you can ask that to your father right? im sure... he'll-
Aff: no! he will not give it to me not unless... if there's some reason.
Ken: but this is a good reason... you can tell your father that you come to this-
Aff: i said i cant! i didnt mean to get in here in this place... but please.... just dont do anything to Joy.
Ken: then what do you want me to suppose to do?
Aff: i'll pay for it... but i still have to look way on how to ask on my father.
Ken: i have a suggestion... which is a lot more easier.... we'll just play a little game in a short time....

Aff was frighten and all... she cant believe that Ken Wongrutiyan, her business partner and the owner of the Lilium Hotel can threat her like this. she went back to the hospital to see if her family is still there, she's worrying too much now... aside from her sister who got accident... now, her friend Joy put her in this kind of situation... "where are you Joy?", she murmured while driving. she still cant forget of Ken of what he said "a kidnap for ransom... we'll just pretend that you were kidnap... and once your father gave the money... i will release you...". the words keep repeating to her mind. "how come she got involve in this?", she thought... she was thinking about her friend again.

*As Aff went back to the hospital, she saw Ann and Aum hugging each other. that's when the time she called Ken again.
*Postponing the wedding because Ploy got accident.
*Rita was finally forgiven. But it turns out that Chakrit broke up with her. but she accept her father's offer to work with them.
*Ploy woke up in the hospital, she can still remember about what happened to her. Ann was there to take care of her, then Ann called some nurse and the doctor to check on Ploy's condition.
*Rome didnt get the chance to meet the person he has to meet, he got some message that one of Thabchumpon's daughter got accident. but Ratsami Thabchumpon will personally meet him.
*Ann got kidnap... it was dark then when she woke up, she didnt know where she is.... until she saw a man was standing at the dark and was only looking at her laying on the floor.
