Who cares about the ratings? I never cared or wanted to know about ratings. It's a matter of opinions, one may like it and the other may not. As long as I enjoy what I'm watching that's all that matter

i just hate it when people just judge a lakorn after watching only 1 episode. in my opinion, usually most story & pace don't start off great in the 1st ep. it takes like the 2nd or 3rd to pick up. what frustrating me even more is that a lot of people compare this lakorn to jam luey rak because of the two titles are similar and JLK having a little scene of harit & soraya. :wacko: gosh can't they see that these two lakorns are different?! :angry: about not liking the n'ek, i guess majority of those are the ones that think cherry is too old & big for her p'eks, so they are really judgmental toward her. it makes me sad to hear this kind of comments.

WOW - Thanks for the insights, Jib! So basically it's almost like in America. If a certain show only airs on cable and for people who don't have cable, they are not able to watch the show. Where as in Thailand there is a signal quality differences between ch.3 and ch.7, I never knew such thing! But it makes sense though. Why not watch the channel you can a signal, instead of watching a channel you can't see clearly and can't get any signal.

OMG Jib! - I was so young when I watched this lakorn. I can barely remember the entire storyline. But when I was that young, any storyline that had rape in it, I always enjoyed it...LMAO...I know, I am such a freak!! LOL - But it's going to be great if they remake this lakorn.
I totally agree with you. Peoples have to give it more chance to grow and watch the lakorn for the lakorn itself not comparing with some other lakorn. I'm also a big fan of both cherry and Chakrit, and love all their works. I even got myself a little collection of Cherry old lakorn ^_^

i totally agreed with you Kayla. i really dislike all those naive people too that likes to judge before giving the lakorn a try. those people already disliked JLK before watching it for so many reasons such as aum/aff are better looking than chakrit/cherry; this lakorn is a copycat of jam luey rak; the storyline is boring & not interesting enough in the 1st episode; etc. when people already make up their mind before even seeing it, it's hard for them to be open minded to try to like the lakorn/actor/actress for what it is. well, all i know is they're missing out on a very cute/sweet/funny lakorn. its their lost, not ours.

yup, many people don't get JLK a try because they are still stuck to the JLR bandwagon. you are so right that some people just watch lakorns just to watch but disregard the concept altogether. that's one of the reasons why some great lakorns with good storyline but not really appealing leads are not appreciated much by majority of fans because the appeal is not as great as some lakorns with beautiful actors/actresses with lame storyline.
Yigu - I'm a big fan of TVB series also. I've been a big fan since god knows how old I was, probably eight years old. I haven't been watching much of it lately though. But I do agree, that the old actors and actresses are the best. Like what Joey said I love the sword fighting and the love story. As depressing as a lot of those series were at least it teaches you true love and what it means to make the ultimate sacrifice for what you believe in, your love, or your country. Such warriors!!!

i felt the same way like you Kayla. i just love the theme of the ancient series more than the modern ones. love how those people fight for their true love & country. yup, such warriors!!!! i'm just fascinated by everything in ancient series: the houses, how they sleep (eps. on those hard pillows), their wardrobes, their hair style (eps. the women), riding horses, the way they fight, and so much more. watching it, help takes me to another world instead of the modern world i see & live everyday. i think this is another reason why i love to read historical romance novels too that takes place in 1700s & earlier. the heroes in there also fight for their country & their true love. i love to have my own knight in shining armor someday.
