I just went on the author's FB and she is pretty upset about the changes. That's so messed up. You can make all the changes you want but don't change the original ending along with the main characters. The author told fans to don't go and bash Tono. If they want to blame someone, blame her for giving the rights of her work to them. Right now, two lakorns based off her novels are on air: Hua Jai Mee Ngao and Roy Ruk Raeng Kaeng from Ch.7. The author praises Tua Saranyu, the producer, director, and script writer for lakorn Roy Ruk Raeng Kaen, for turning her work into a fun lakorn. I guess that's an indirect burn to Da Chadaporn, the producer for this lakorn.
 
In addition, part two to this called Hua Jai Tee Rai Ngao will be turned into a lakorn. It won't be by this channel for sure. Someone just bought the rights to it after the author announced having secretly worked on the unreleased novel yesterday. She didn't say who has the rights yet. Some fans were like can Fair be casted in that version so Yotha and Amawasee can have a happy ending? Lol. In this version, Hua Jai Mee Ngao translates into "The Heart has a Shadow." Hua Jai Tee Rai Ngao translates into "The Heart Lacks a Shadow." So it'll be based on Yotha and Laweng's life after coming to terms with her not being Amawasee. Someone who can read Thai can double check my translations for this news. The author posted it herself on FB. This is her announcement of someone buying the copyrights.

Awe. I kind of don't want a part two, but I guess that's fine too. Can they have Pat and Ning comeback for that one. Haha. Since this one will have a different ending anyway.

if they're change the plot and  why  do they call it remake  if it's like you guys said that's sucks .ok no more thinking just make my mine that fair is the main one that's it and end up with wasee in the end

The drama surrounding the lakorn is better than the actual lakorn itself. I'm pretty sure they did change the ending based on how "raeng" the producer's response was. Now I don't know if her reply came after the author's and she's really pissed cause of that or if she gave this repsonse first.

Basically she said if the story was "classic" and good, she wouldn't have to change it in the first place. But it's not a classic so she felt like she needed to change it. She said it's not like this story is a classic like Ban Sai Thong that's untouchable.

I'm laughing even though I dislike her changes, cause it was such a bitchy response. Would love to see the interview to see her face and tone when she said this.

Part of me is cynical enough to believe that they did this on purpose to get people all worked up and get krasae.

That would be awsome if Pat and Ning would be in part 2. I didn't even know there's a part2 to this. Lol

Not as classic as BST?? Haha. That is a slap in the face to the author. Though I don't agree nor disagree with that statement, I think it's so wrong. Oh well...she definitely on the authors blacklist now.

Wow, lol Exact is on crack, you know, they should've changed the ending to Koo Kum that'll make some fans happy, better than this one. I wanted to tune I because of Fair, but now I guess not.

Tono's is the p'ek. Confirmed from the author's interview from Manager ja. The producer made this change without her consent. Tono's character is actually the villain in the book. At first, the producer wanted to change n'ek's name but the author didn't allow it. The producer is so shady. Basically, she asked the author to make some changes so the lakorn can be more modern. The author agreed that minor changes can be done but the producer twist her words and took it as she can do whatever she wants with the story. She said it's not a classic story so changing it won't be a big deal. The author said this is the first time this has ever happened to her. If she would've known beforehand that she viewed her work that way, she wouldn't have given her the rights to remake it to save her the headache of changing things she didn't like. I'm anti-ing her as a producer. That's straight up disrespect. No longer watching this.

Wow.....and to think that I was enjoying this. Wow........that's so shady of the producer of this version. I rooted for Tono from the start however after watching the actual drama, Fair should be the pra'ek.

Wtf???!!! Nooo! I want Fair to be pek. If they changed the roles of characters and pek/nek, then it's bit even the same lakorn. Shouldn't even be the same title. I will stop with this lakorn. The heck!! I'm so piss. I was so excited for this remake. Now I have no more interest and that producer bitchy attitude and rude response too. Oh hell no! Sorry for my rant. I'm just done with this. I want my poor Fair to be happy too. :'(
