Later that night they had dinner with King Pin and Soap to discuss about the up coming wedding . Lavadee wore a pink Chinese traditional short sleeve jacket with three bow button fasten to the left and a matching brocade fabric pant that reaches to her ankle . Jame was handsomely dress in a navy oriental jacket with roll up cuff , the collar was button up to the left from the top to the hem and he wore a black silk pant . His hair was slick back , shoulder square and jaw tighten , he was a vision of Bruce Lee until King Pin turn to shout at him , “EAT!!”. Jame loosen his composure and bend his head down to eat slowly . Lavadee held her amusement at the cowardly man sitting across from her and turn her attention to the delicious meal on the table . There was at least ten bodyguards surrounding the table as their master and guest dinn. The men was large and muscular , build to destroy anything in sight . They stood with their leg part and arm cross like a human shield.
“Your cousin beat me in poker a couple weeks back at the Asian Poker Competition ” said the King Pin , breaking the silent .
“Yes , I heard” said Jame while laying his chopstick down and turn his attention to the mafia of China . The man was intimating! His shiny bald head was huge on his shoulder and his body was round with excessive fat , just his arm itself is bigger than Jame’s thighs . The bushy eyebrow was like a hay stack and his lip was swollen with greasy chap stick .
“Hiya!! Girl there he wife!” Soap added while pointing to Lavadee .
King Pin took a moment to absorb the profile of the lovely woman sitting next to his daughter . Stun by the beauty in front of him , he let out a loud laugh that shook his heavy set body into a massive jello on the edge of collapse. Lavadee was in tremor by the sound of his laugher and turn to look at Jame with question eye .
“Such a pretty girl ! You want to be my mistress ? I have lots of money ! Just name it and your wish is my command ” the King Pin grin seductively as his eye burn with unmistakable lust that send chill down her spine . Jame could not guess the expression on her face , he wasn’t sure if she was happy or frighten by the offer but for sure he know she thinking hard about the ordeal .
“I’m a marry woman and very loyal to their husband” Lavadee said calmly , trying to hold the anger in her voice but the bitterness was very direct when she assure him again , “very ..very loyal” gritting her teeth and turn away to continue her meal .
“actually , you’re not quite marry yet---” Jame close his mouth as he felt the pain on his feet from under the table . Lavadee glare at him and he immediately shut up.
“if you change your mind , my door is always open” said the King Pin
“me no care about you father ! Talk about me wed!!” Soap giggle and rest her head on her father huge shoulder like a cat purring .
“The wedding will be the biggest event of the year ! My youngest daughter getting marry for the first time and I will see to it that everyone is invited !” he laugh heartily as the servant refill his glass of wine and he swallow it down in one gulp .
Jame shifted in his chair , “I would like a wedding with just friend and family---”
“NO” the King Pin cut him off abruptly and demanded “Your job is to be there at the wedding . Don’t insult me with your cheap idea”
Jame didn’t say another word . The infuriated expression on King Pin’s face was enough for him to understand what this man will do if he voice his opinion . Marriage had never cross his mind and to be force into one by a gang of mafia was not his idea of how his bachelorhood will goes down . Even though Soap is an attractive woman but her over hyper personality and dominant trait can kill a man within a few years of marriage ! Also, he can not accept the illegal business the family operate here at the Hotel! Life in the mafia world isn’t a trip to Disney Land , there will be death at gun point! Jame shook his head and shudder at the very gruesome picture that someday he will laid in a pool of blood. Thru out the whole dinner Soap goes on and on about the wedding . She want lots of firecracker and firework to shoot nonstop on that day , there will be traditional lion dancer performing outside , musical of Chinese melody will be play thru out the day and onto their wedding night . The ceremony will be held at King Pin’s mansion located along the cost of China . Soap squeal in delight and her eye glitter with happiness .
Lavadee listen to the Chinese girl yapping away her wedding plan and realize how plain her own was . She didn’t complain when Rome wanted a small peaceful wedding and that was how it were on that day . She remember dressing in a Thai traditional outfit with her hair pin up and walking down the stair to meet the groom family. She was nervous and her stomach wouldn’t stop quivering but she kept her expression intact , nobody notice how frighten the bride was . She dread the thought of marrying someone without love and turn around to use him for her own benefit . Now , everything she plan is ruin . When she get back to Thailand there will be rumor flying around how she magically disappear on her own wedding day ! If only the kidnapper got to Jame first , before he got a chance to kidnap her --- then all this could had been avoid !
They were escorted upstairs and the two men stand at the end of the hall guarding the exit while watching them walk to their room . Jame lean over her shoulder and whisper “we have to escape !”
“Why? You will be marry in a couple days and then I’ll be free to go back to Thailand then” she reply back with a satisfying grin that irritate the living hell out of him . She was mocking him!
“You think they will let’s me go after I marry Soap ? Hell, I will be stuck here for life !”
“That’s your problem not mine. It’s karma for kidnapping me”

! Fine! I’ll escape by myself . You think they will treat you kindly after I left ? They might punish you or better yet …kill you out of anger and then send those men after me later”
“I hate you! You can’t escape ! I would not allow it! You need to stay and marry that FOB girl ! I have to return to Thailand ! My father need me!” she angrily halt and turn to glare at him .
He had the tendency to smile at her inflamed face and calmly said “you have two choice . One , we come up with a plan together and escape or two …be left behind in a hotel full of mafia , who drool at the very sight of your tight Chinese cloth”
She clench her fist at her side and mummer “fine!” then turn on her heel and goes into her room , slamming the door . Jame retreated to his room and drop on the bed to rethink of a plan to escape.
Later that night , the hotel took on it’s illegal operation. The sound of woman screaming and men laughing shook the whole room. The hallway constantly walk on by heavy footstep of drunken men and lady bird of the night under their arm . The wall was being bang by their clumsy stumbling and the sound of woman giggling or rapidly talking in Chinese language was heard thru out the night . Lavadee try her best to cover her ear and play innocent to the activity that was obviously a bed squeaking behind the wall of her room or the fast thudding on the ceiling above her head. It was no difference than standing in a porn studio -- the sound effect was about the same as if she were in the same room with them! She want to get out of this filthy place ! Suddenly she heard the door to her room open and close . She move off the bed and open the light .
“W-Who goes there!” she shouted shakily
“It me ! Jame” he step into the bed room and cross his arm , “get dress ! We getting out of here!”
“Now ? You can’t be serious ? How are we going get pass the guard ?! Do you even have a plan ?” she look at him doubtfully
“Yes and No . But I been thinking” he pause as a sound of a woman screaming in ecstasy and the banging on the ceiling stop . Lavadee ’s cheek flame in the knowledge what had happen while Jame remain his serious composure and continue where he left off “there must be hundred of customer walking up and down the hall at ever hour . I was thinking if we disgust ourselves as one of the customer ..perhaps ..”
“it’s risky -- w-what if we get caught ?” she said.
“Well , I’m sure the most they will do to me is lock me in the room and throw the key into the ocean . Because after all …I’m the groom . The wedding can’t go on without the groom”
“what about me?”
“I guess ..we will find out when we get caught” he said it matter of fact and without a lack of care .
She was tense. Not sure if they will escape successfully or get caught halfway down the stair ! The plan sound good but the risk !! O’ the risk! He the groom there nothing for him to fear but ..she is just an in law!! “Thank you for offering to help me out of his hell hole you got me ..into! But I decline . Good night” she didn’t get to finish the rest of her sentence when Jame suddenly walk out of the room and return second later with some kind of clothing .
“wear this” he toss the outfit on the bed and left the room
Lavadee gather the cloth and notice the outfit was outrageously provocative ! She protest hotly , “I’m not wearing this fish net !!!”
“It’s the kind of outfit those girl wore . I convince this one Chinese girl to sell me one of her work cloth a few hours ago” said Jame after returning back into the room with another dress in his hand that look similar to the one he just given to her “Unless you want this one ? I found it on the floor in the hallway , one couple couldn’t wait to get to their room and …you know the rest” he grinned once he saw the blush on her cheek .
She stare at him and back to the tiny outfit in his hand , infant cloth perhaps ? She decided , “I’ll take the fish net”
