Only a chapter or two left of Poo Dee Gammalor. Going to put Soi Haeng Rak on a hold because I find it kinda hard to write because the storyline involves time traveling. Like most of you here, I miss Ann/Ken and ATEAM in action so it inspired me to write this fanfiction. Hope you enjoy it!

Chapter One

“We should break up,” said Cherry.
That’s all it took for tears to stream down Ken’s handsome face. He was trembling all over and lost in words. He couldn’t accept a sudden break up without valid reason. Ken shook his head and gazed into Cherry’s eyes.
“Why?” he asked. “You can’t do this to me.”
Cherry turned her face aside and tried her best to hold back her tears. She had no other choice but to do this. It wasn’t what she wanted. It was what her parents expected. She didn’t want to be an unfilial daughter.
“Just forget me,” she said, walking away.
She grabbed the doorknob but Ken hugged her from behind. He held her tightly in his arms and let his tears soak her shoulders. She struggled out of his embrace and left without turning to look back.
Ken backed into the wall and slumped onto the floor. He couldn’t believe this would happen to him. His heart was officially shattered.

Cherry cried all the way home. She broke his heart and she broke her own heart.
“Did you explain clearly to him?” asked her father, as soon as she stepped into the house.
“Ka,” replied Cherry sadly.
She made her way towards the stairs only to be stopped by her mother.
“You’ve made the right decision,” said her mother. “You have to let him go.”
Her father smirked.
“If you stay with him, there will be no happiness in your future,” added her father. “You must understand that you’re too far beyond his reach. You’re hi-so and he’s a poor kid. There will only be suffering if you end up with him.”
“Even though he’s poor, he has a pure heart that is rich in love,” said Cherry.
She went up the stairs without saying another word and disappeared into her room. She collapsed on her bed and cried herself to sleep.

“Another drink, please.”
Ken waved his hand at the bartender for more liquor.
“Hey, that’s enough alcohol for you,” said Aum.
“I want to be drunk,” said Ken.
He was already drunk. His eyes were halfway open.
“You’re already drunk man,” said Aum. “If you keep drinking, I might have to escort you to the hospital.”
“Aow loey,” said Ken. “My heart is broken anyway.”
Aum shook his head and put an arm around his best friend.
“I feel so sorry for you man,” he said. “I can’t believe Cherry did that to you.”
Ken began to cry again.
“Why?” he wailed. “I loved her so much but she dumped me.”
Aum looked around them. People in the bar were staring at them.
“Hey, lower your voice,” he told Ken. “People are looking at us.”
“Let them look,” said Ken loudly. “Have they ever seen a broken hearted guy before?”
“Alright, it’s time to go,” said Aum. “I’m taking you home. Your mother is probably worried sick right now.”
“I’m not going anywhere,” said Ken. “If I’m not drunk tonight, I’m not going home.”
Aum paid for the drinks and pulled Ken up from his seat. He helped his best friend to the car and safely drove him home.

“How is he?” asked Aff.
“He’s heartbroken,” replied Aum, changing his shirt.
He smelled like alcohol all over although he only had one drink.
“Poor guy,” said Aff. “Do you think he’ll be okay?”
“Don’t worry,” said Aum. “I’m going to make sure he’s going to be okay.”
Aum kissed Aff on the forehead and climbed onto the bed to sleep. Shaking her head, Aff turned off the bedside lamp and cuddled next to Aum.

“Congratulations man.”
Tik thanked his best friend, Om and patted him on the shoulder. Om handed him a drink and they toasted to Tik’s upcoming wedding.
“Finally you get to marry the woman of your dreams,” said Om.
“A person like me, when I want something, I get it,” said Tik. “That poor guy Ken can’t compete with me.”
Om laughed and took a sip of his drink.
“How about Ann?” asked Om. “What are you going to tell her?”
“What else can I tell her?” asked Tik. “I’ll just say that my parents forced me to marry.”
“Smooth,” said Om.
“How about you?” asked Tik. “When are you going to find yourself a woman?”
“Oy, you don’t have to worry about that,” answered Om. “When I meet the right one, you’ll be the first to know.”
The guys laughed again and drank their night away.

Finally, it was the day to try on their wedding gown and suit. The big day was approaching fast but each day that passed by, Cherry felt it was like hundreds of years. She missed Ken dearly.
“You need to stop thinking about him,” said Jui.
She must’ve read Cherry’s mind.
“I can’t,” said Cherry. “I think of him every day and I miss him more and more each day.”
“I know how you feel but now that you’ve came this far, there’s no turning back,” said Jui. “Perhaps, Tik could be the right one. He’s always loved you.”
“I know that but I’ve always regarded him as an elder brother figure,” said Cherry. “Our families have been friends for as long as I can remember and P’Tik and I grew up together. Even though that’s the case, I have no feelings for him as I do for Ken.”
“This must be destiny,” said Jui.
“No,” said Cherry. “It’s fate.”

Jui promised to accompany Cherry for the bridal fitting. Even though it would feel really awkward to go out with the to be bride and groom, Jui agreed anyway because when her best friend asked for favors, she didn’t want to let her down.
After the trying on the wedding attire, the three had lunch at a nearby fancy café. Tik boasted that the food there was very delicious and seemed delighted to have lunch with the two women.
“You look very beautiful in that bridal gown,” Tik told Cherry.
“Khob jai ka,” said Cherry.
There wasn’t much enthusiasm in her.
“Is something wrong?” asked Tik.
“Uh…nothing’s wrong,” replied Jui quickly. “Everything is fine. My friend here is just a little too happy about this wedding.”
“Oh,” said Tik. “That’s normal. I was just making sure.”
“Well now that we’ve brought this subject up, can I ask a favor from you?” Jui asked Tik.
Tik nodded.
“Of course,” replied Tik.
“Very well,” said Jui. “Will you promise to take very good care of my friend?”
Tik smiled.
“I promise you that I will take very good care of your friend,” said Tik, with confidence. “She’s my breath, my heart, and soul. She’s my life. Does that make you feel better now?”
Jui looked at Cherry and nodded.
“I was just making sure,” said Jui.
“Krub,” said Tik. “Now let’s eat.”

Crying and feeling sad wasn’t the best idea anymore. Ken decided to put his past with Cherry behind and move forward. He made up his mind that he would move to America with his mother.
“Are you sure about this?” asked his mother.
“Krub,” answered Ken. “I want to go continue my education over there but I don’t want to leave you here alone. Will you go with me mother?”
“Okay,” she replied.
She looked at her son and smiled.
“Whatever makes you happy makes me happy,” she said.
Ken hugged his mother and kissed her on the cheek.
“I love you mother.”

Mr. Pholdee flipped through his old photo album and pulled out a picture under the last page. It was a photograph of himself in his younger years and another woman whom he loved very much. He wished he knew where she was now. He wanted to see her and their son. Mr. Pholdee wondered what he looked like and what she named him. His son, Tik was getting married soon and more than anything else, Mr. Pholdee wished his family was together for the big day. Sadly, Tik was unaware that he has a younger brother and step mother. In addition, Mr. Pholdee didn’t even know where his second wife and youngest son were at the moment.

Two years later, Ken’s mother was happily married to a wonderful American businessman. He loved Ken like his own son and provided the mother and son with everything they wanted and needed. Ken was happy to see his mother happy. He now had a father and a good life. Even better, Ken had the perfect girlfriend. Ann was much more than he could ever ask for and he was thankful that he met her. It felt as though she revived him from his dark dead past.
Aff and Aum, Ken’s best friends were happy for him. Similarly, he was also happy for them as they were now blessed with an adorable one year old son. Many times Aff and Aum asked Ken to visit them but Ken had been so busy with his daddy’s diamond company. His daddy was currently in the process of doing business with the infamous Elegant Thai Jewelry Co. and it was up to Ken to do the communicating and work with the agreement. Ken now had the chance to visit Thailand after two whole years.

Chapter Two

Aff and Aum were thrilled to learn that Ken was finally coming back to Thailand. It had been two years since they departed and they missed their best friend very much. He was no longer the poor old Ken but now a handsome businessman at the age of 26.
“These two years have passed by quite fast,” said Aff. “Now, Ken has a happy family and a wonderful girlfriend by his side.”
Aum hugged Aff from behind and smiled.
“I have wonderful woman and great family by my side too,” he said.
Aff smiled and turned around to face him.
“I couldn’t ask for more,” said Aff.
She picked up her precious one year old son from his high chair and cradled him in her arms.
“Techit ka, aren’t you happy?” Aff asked her little boy. “Your uncle Ken is coming to visit you for the first time.”
“This time he isn’t just coming to visit us,” said Aum. “He’s coming down here for business too. I heard Bradley Diamond Co. wants to do business with Elegant Thai Jewelry and Ken’s dad put him in charge of this.”
“I’m pretty sure he can do it,” said Aff. “Ken is a smart guy and hard worker.”
Aum nodded. He took one last sip from his coffee and kissed Aff and his son goodbye before setting off to work.
“I have to arrange Ken’s room today,” said Aum.
“Ka,” said Aff. “Don’t work too hard.”
Aum was the next heir of the Morakot Hotels & Resorts. His father, Nirut is the current CEO of the hotel company and he had high hopes on his only son, Aum. Working hard wasn’t an option for Aum because no matter what, he would always give his all in work. He actually enjoyed it anyway so whenever Aff told him not to work too hard, he took it as a joke.

Mr. Pholdee of Elegant Thai Jewelry Co. very much looked forward to doing business with Bradley Diamond Co. After the confirmation from William Bradley, the CEO of Bradley Diamond Co., Mr. Pholdee decided to hold a meeting to share the exciting news. As he predicted, everyone was also overjoyed to hear about their upcoming business deal.

“What?” asked Ken, a little surprised. “You want to come with me?”
Ann had already packed and by the sight of her things, it seemed as though she was moving there. Ken laughed.
“What are you laughing for?” asked Ann. “Are you going to let me go or not?”
“I…
“Even if you say no, I will still go,” said Ann.
“I wasn’t going to say no,” said Ken. “You can go but don’t you think you’ve packed a little too much?”
“No,” replied Ann, flatly. “I’m a model, remember? All of these things are necessary for a model slash actress like me. This is actually too little.”
Ken held up one hand for her to stop and shook his head.
“This is plenty,” he told her.
“Fine, I’ll listen to you this time,” said Ann. “Oh, I forgot to tell you. This time when we go to Thailand, I’d like to visit an old friend of mine.”
“I never knew you had an old friend there,” said Ken.
“Of course I do,” said Ann. “I used to date him but…
“What?!” gasped Ken.
“Will you let me finish?” asked Ann. “I used to date him but we broke up two years ago. He got married and I moved to America to live with my father. I thought I’d might drop by and visit him.”
“You’re still on good terms?” asked Ken. “And why are you even telling me this?”
“Yes we’re still on good terms,” replied Ann. “I’m telling you because I have nothing to hide from you.”
She leaned in closer to him and rubbed her nose against his nose.
“Rak na ja, joob joob,” she said.
That’s what he liked about her. The fact that she had nothing to hide from him made him feel really special. He didn’t care who she used to date as it didn’t matter to him because now, she was his.

Their flight was scheduled to take off early next morning. Before departing the plane, Ken’s mother hugged him tightly and kissed him on the cheek.
“I love you mom,” he told her.
He looked onto this dad.
“Take care dad,” said Ken.
“I love you son,” said Mr. Bradley. “Have a safe trip and keep in touch.”
“Yes sir,” said Ken.
Then it was Ann’s turn to say goodbye to Ken’s parents. Finally, it was time to board the plane. Take off followed shortly afterwards.

Cherry’s marriage life was not what she had envisioned. It seemed as if Tik was two different people. Sometimes, he was all sweet and caring but most of the time, he was a playboy. Deep down, Cherry still harbored feelings for Ken but she knew that it was wrong. She tried to love Tik but his bad boy personality was just too much for her to handle. Nevertheless, she had to put up with him to make both sides of their family happy.
Tik adjusted his tie and pulled on his jacket. Then, he looked at his reflection in the mirror and winked.
“Oh how handsome,” he said.
He twirled once and winked again. Then, he turned around to look at his wife, who was sitting on the bed.
“How do look ja tee rak?” he asked her.
“Good,” answered Cherry.
Tik made a face and went over to her. He bent down and kissed her on the cheek.
“I’m to work now,” he told her. “I’ll be home late tonight.”
This wasn’t a first. Eight out of ten times he returned home late and as his true character unfolded, Cherry adapted and got used to it. In fact, she didn’t care either way.

“You’re going to have to do something about it,” said Jui, later that day at lunch.
“What can I do?” asked Cherry. “We’ve been married for two years now and nothing has changed.”
“He seems like he really loves you but then he has other women,” said Jui. “I can’t predict his character sometimes. He never hurt or raises his voice at you but he acts like you’re just one out of his many women.”
Cherry sighed and continued cutting up her grilled fish steak.
“I’m used to it,” she said. “I don’t care anyway.”
Jui put her fork and knife down and stared at Cherry.
“Don’t tell me you still have feelings for Ken,” said Jui, eyeing Cherry suspiciously.
“He was my first love,” said Cherry. “I can’t forget him and never will.”
“I know how you feel but you must take care of the problems in front of you,” said Jui. “Ken is no longer in your life. You need to focus on your relationship with Tik.”
“Oy, let’s just eat,” said Cherry. “I don’t want to talk about this anymore.”
“Aow,” said Jui. “I was just trying to help.”

She pursed her lips and shook her head. She continued to eat but then her attention shifted to a guy sitting across from them a few tables away. Actually Jui was surprised to see the photo on the front cover on the magazine the guy was holding. It was a picture of Ken!
“Hey!”
Cherry nearly spit out her food.
“What’s wrong with you?” she asked.
Jui pointed to the cover on the newspaper.
“Do you see what I see?” asked Jui. “That right there is a picture of Ken!”
“Jing duay!” exclaimed Cherry.
She got up from her seat immediately and charged towards the guy with the newspaper.
“Excuse me,” said Cherry, in an urgent tone. “May I borrow your newspaper for a few minutes?”
The guy seemed confused and scared at the same time. He nodded slowly.
“Uh…sure,” he replied, handing Cherry the newspaper.
Cherry and Jui returned to their table and spread out the newspaper flat on the table so that both of them could read the article about Ken.

“Twenty six year old, Kenneth Bradley, a native of Thailand and the sole heir of Bradley Diamond Company has announced to the media that he will be visiting Thailand soon to do business with the infamous Elegant Thai Jewelry Company. Elegant Thai has informed the media that this project will be a big one and is expected to worth millions.”

After reading the article and gawking at Ken’s handsome photo above, Cherry and Jui looked at each in amazement and disbelief.
“Oho,” said Jui. “This is unbelievable. Within two years, he has become the heir of a multimillion dollar company based in America! How is it possible?”
“You’re asking me like I know,” said Cherry.
She looked at his picture again and smiled.
“I’m happy for him.”

Aff, Aum and their one year old son, Techit, awaited Ken’s arrival at the airport. They immediately recognized the guy as he walked through the gates, arm in arm with his girlfriend, Ann. Aff smiled and threw her arms around Ken.
“It’s so nice to see you again,” said Aff.
She looked on over to the smiling Ann.
“You must be Miss Ann,” said Aff.
“Oh, please don’t call me Miss Ann,” said Ann. “Just call me Ann.”
“Ken has told us a lot about you,” said Aff. “You’re so much prettier in person.”
“Thank you ka,” said Ann.
Ken and Aum happily shook hands. Little Techit grasped Ken’s attention. He scooped the baby from Aum and held his adorable nephew in his arms.
“Aw, you must be Techit,” said Ken, smiling broadly. “You’re handsome just like your daddy.”
“He’s so precious,” said Ann, stepping closer to Ken.
Ken handed Techit to her and looked onto Aum.
“So how’s your hotel business going? he asked.
“Gaw dee,” replied Aum. “How is your diamond company?”
“Pretty good,” answered Ken.
Aff cleared her throat.
“Shall we go now?” she asked. “Standing here talking isn’t the best idea, you know.”
“Oh yeah,” said Aum, laughing. “Sorry, man.”
Aff looked at Ann.
“This is how they are,” she told Ann. “They get carried away.”
Ann laughed and told Aff that it was okay. She handed Techit back to Aff and grabbed her belongings on the floor. They loaded their stuff on a cart and Ken wheeled it out to Aum’s car.

Ann was pretty amazed by the room that Aum prepared for them. It was actually more of a luxury penthouse.
“Oho,” said Ann, looking around.
“Do you like it?” asked Aum.
“I love it,” replied Ann.
He handed Ann and Ken the keycards and said he and Aff would meet them later for dinner. Then, they left, leaving Ann and Ken to situate themselves.
“You’re friends are really nice,” Ann told Ken.
Ken smiled.
“We’ve been friends since our university years,” said Ken. “At that time, I was a poor kid who no one wanted to be friends with. I got picked on a lot. Only Aff and Aum were nice to me. They were always there for me no matter what. We’re like brothers and sister.”
“Your friends are like my friends too,” said Ann, collapsing on the bed.
He sat down next to her and pinched her nose.
“I’m glad you like them,” said Ken.
“Why would I not?” asked Ann. “They’re lovely.”
The two arranged their belongings and got ready for dinner with Aff and Aum later that evening.

Aum made reservations at the first class restaurant in his hotel. They dropped off baby Techit at his grandfather’s house beforehand and headed to dinner. Ann and Ken arrived shortly afterwards and took a seat at the nice table with leather sofa chairs. After placing their order, Ken excused himself to the bathroom and on the way something caught his eye. He noticed Cherry dining with a guy at one of the private tables in the corner. The guy’s back was turned towards Ken. Just as Ken was about to turn away, Cherry’s eyes met his…

Chapter Three

Ken returned to the table and sat down quietly. Ann, Aff, and Aum were chatting happily. Aum noticed Ken’s unusual behavior and questioned him of his current state of being.
“I’m fine,” answered Ken.
He kept looking back at that corner. From where he was, he couldn’t see Cherry and her guy because the bar blocked their view. Aum looked back and raised one eyebrow.
“What are you staring at?” he asked Ken.
“Nothing,” replied Ken.
Ann put one hand over Ken’s forehead.
“You’re not sick are you?” she asked.
Ken moved away and shook his head.
“Nah, I’m fine really,” said Ken.
“It seems like your soul isn’t in your body,” said Aff.
“I…I’m just a little tired,” said Ken finally. “I need to step out and get some fresh air.”
He walked out of the restaurant into the lobby of the hotel. Aum followed, leaving only the two ladies at the table.
“What’s wrong?” asked Aum. “I know you too well to allow you to lie to me.”
“I saw Cherry,” said Ken.
“Really?” asked Aum. “Where is she?”
Aum turned his head back at the restaurant hoping to catch a glimpse of her.
“She was dining with a guy,” said Ken.
“What are you trying to say?” asked Aum. “Do you think she cheated on…
“Gaw chai na si!” exclaimed Ken. “Why else did you think she broke up with me two years ago?!”
If this was two years back, Ken would’ve been teary eyed but now he was a different man. He refused to let women hurt him anymore.
Aum put one hand on Ken’s shoulder.
“Now you have Ann,” said Aum. “You should leave your past behind and focus on your present.”
“Khob jai na peuan,” said Ken. “I’m fine. I just can’t take it that that woman lied to me. As for Ann, she understands me but I don’t want to tell her my past relationship just yet. Do me a favor and keep it between us for me.”
“Will do,” said Aum. “Come on, let’s go back in. Food should be here by now.”
Ken nodded and followed Aum back into the restaurant. Dinner carried on without any interference. They had a great time and it was the first time in a long time that Ken had dinner with his friends. He and Ann both enjoyed every moment of it.

Cherry and Tik left the restaurant shortly after Ken. Cherry’s heart was still racing at the sight of Ken earlier. He must be very angry at her, she thought to herself. She was angry at herself too but again, she didn’t have a choice. Hopefully, he didn’t take it the wrong way.
“What are you looking at honey?” asked Tik, waving his hand in front of Cherry’s face.
Cherry blinked a few times and shook her head.
“Nothing ka,” she replied.
“You must be tired,” said Tik. “Let’s go home now.”
“Ka.”

Life just sucks sometimes when you experience something unexpected. This was just the case for Jui at the moment. A car accident was the last thing that she least expected. She couldn’t believe her fate. Angry, Jui got out of her car and kicked the white Mercedes convertible in front of her. It came to sudden stop without warning causing Jui to rear end it. The driver finally emerged, a tall and charming guy sporting a white jacket and black shirt. He matched his car. Yes, he looked good but with from the smirk on his face, Jui could tell that he wasn’t any better than his looks.
“What do you think you’re doing?” Om.
“I should be the one asking you!” said Jui angrily.
She dared point her finger at his face. He pushed it away and stepped closer to her. She backed up every step and finally fell back onto the curb. He laughed.
“Just look at your clumsy self,” said Om. “I didn’t even do anything to you. You fell back on your own.”
Jui stood up and straightened her hair. She could’ve sworn this guy looked familiar.
“I don’t want to waste my time with you,” she told him. “You’d better take responsibility of my car!”
“You want money?” he asked. “Dai.”
Om pulled out his wallet and handed a stack of a few thousand bahts.
“This should do it,” he said.
Jui punched him in the face and he fell on his back.
“Oyy!” he yelped.
“This is for the wreck and insulting me,” said Jui. “Take your money back because I’m not a person who likes to put up a show for benefits. All I ask is for your responsibility but apparently you don’t have any. Bye!”
Jui got back into her car and left. What an asshole, she thought to herself.
Om got up and massaged his back.
“Tua saeb,” he muttered.
How great was that? He had just returned from abroad and on his first day back, he gets into a wreck with a feisty girl. When he thought about it, she looked too familiar but he couldn’t remember where he met her before.

It was half past ten when Tik received a call from his buddy, Om. He was excited that Om was finally back from Hong Kong. Tik sprang out of bed and changed into some casual clothes.
“Om’s back,” Tik told Cherry. “I’m going out to meet him and will probably return a little late tonight. See you!”
She knew where this was going. Cherry guessed that the two were going to meet up at a club somewhere and drink the night away as they always did. She wasn’t bothered by it. The only thing on her mind at the moment was Ken. She felt the sudden urge to explain to him what really happened to years ago. If she didn’t tell him the truth, it would bother her forever.

“Where are you going?”
Tik was stopped by his father downstairs just as he was about to step out of house.
“I’m going to meet up with Om,” replied Tik. “You’re not sleepy yet?”
“I came down to get a glass of milk,” answered Mr. Pholdee. “Is Om back?”
“Krub por,” replied Tik. “I’m going now.”
Mr. Pholdee shook his head in disappointment. That was all his son did every day. Going out and have fun was Tik’s most important priority.
Mr. Pholdee went back up to his room and shut the door behind him.
“You need to speak to your lovely son,” he told his wife.
Khun Ying looked up from her magazine.
“Speak to him about what?” she asked.
“He needs to learn how to prioritize the things and people in his life,” said Mr. Pholdee.
“I don’t see any flaws in him now,” she said. “He’s just like you. Remember when you were younger? Don’t let me bring up the old stories of you and that woman.”
“Ay khun,” said Mr. Pholdee. “Why do you always mention this? Whatever is over is over.”
“I can’t forget it,” said Khun Ying. “Have you ever thought about my feelings? What if one day Tik finds out that he has a bastard younger brother?”
“Don’t say that!” exclaimed Mr. Pholdee.
“It’s the truth!” shrieked Khun Ying.
Cherry couldn’t believe her ears. She didn’t mean to eavesdrop. She was innocently on her way downstairs and accidentally passed by their room and heard the conversation. Cherry quickly scrambled back into her room before anyone notices. Tik has a younger brother? Who is his younger and why doesn’t he live with the Pholdees?

Ken peeked over at Ann. She was already asleep. Must be tired from the plane ride, he thought. He went over to the opposite bed and lied down. Past memories entered his mind. He remembered clearly that night when Cherry broke up with him. It wasn’t that he couldn’t let her go but he was angry. He was angry and couldn’t believe that he was once a fool. He loved her with all his heart but she just had the nerve to do what she did. Cherry taught him what love was but she also left a deep scar on his heart.

Ken woke up the next morning and looked over at Ann’s bed. It was empty but the bedding was neatly done. He washed his face and brushed his teeth then trotted out into the kitchen. There was Ann sitting at the table eating breakfast and looking through a fashion magazine. It was the perfect sight on a Saturday morning. Ken didn’t have to meet with his business partners until Monday so he planned to spend the whole weekend with his wonderful woman.
“Morning ja,” he said to her. “Wow that looks really delicious. Did you cook that?”
“Of course I didn’t,” replied Ann. “You know I don’t know how to cook.”
“Oh well did you order it?” asked Ken.
“No again,” replied Ann. “A hotel butler brought it in earlier and said that Khun Aum told him to take good care of us.”
Ken shook his head and smiled.
“This isn’t good for you,” he said.
Ann looked at the bowl of fruit in front of her.
“Is this not healthy enough?” she asked. “It’s fruit in case you haven’t noticed.”
“No, I meant that serving meals directly to our room is not good for you,” said Ken. “I’m afraid you will be spoiled and never learn how to cook on your own. How will you cook for me in the future after we’re married?”
“Who says I will cook for you?” asked Ann. “You’re the one that’s going to cook for me.”
Ken smiled brightly and shook his head. He sat down at the table and joined her for breakfast. Oh it was going to be a great weekend!

“Aff ja.”
“Ka.”
Aum folded his newspaper and put it down.
“What do you say we go shopping today?” he asked.
“Gaw dee ka,” replied Aff. “Techit is getting big really fast; he’s growing out of his clothes.”
Aum went to the playpen and scooped up his little boy. Then, he tossed the baby up in the air and caught him. He repeated this a few times and chuckled each time Techit laughed. This was like Aum’s early morning workout. Playing with his son made it to the number one spot on his daily schedule.
“We should ask Ann and Ken to go too,” said Aff. “It’d be nice to go shopping with a dara.”
“Aow loey,” said Aum. “Why don’t you ask her?”
“Ka,” replied Aff with a smile.
Yes, it was going to be a wonderful weekend indeed. There was nothing better like spending time with your family and friends.

I feel pity for Cherry though.
Don't know what Ken will do to her. I thought Tik was good. Good but a playboy is nothing better than being a bad guy.
