aw dat sucks sprint won't block txts

no one wants to talk to you? thats not true pich...LOL * they will find ya one way or another..i tend to google those numbers and golly they got complaints all over the country...when you get one of those numbers calling ya dont pick up just go online and google it...some of the comments will crack you up...i actually enjoy reading the comments on those 800notes websites...

btw of all the phones at my work place...the one that sat on my desk is the "lucky" one (gets all the telemarketing phone calls + more)

and since we are on this subject...you ever get those stupid health insurance papers via fax ?? those are scams too..ive called before inquiring bout the dental one and they are some rude arse folks...man...the first thing they ask you if you would like to enroll today and eager to get your acct #...wth if you even open your mouth to ask a question they cut you off and hangs up on you!

and that vacation package, also via fax too $99 per person blah blah blah...gotta read the fine prints if theres one... you have to pay for a full price package to get this stupid deal or you would have to make the call to know that its not what was advertised..i got bored at work one day and called that dang number...only to find that out...lol man these ppl are really something!!!!!!!

Oh genkz, Sprint does block it. They also offer self service for you to block it yourself as well.

There was this one time where I received a call from "Banc of America." They just asked "yes or no" questions. Then the guy wanted me to be transfered to his supervisor () I didn't think anything of it but at the end they were offering something, and I was like "Can I not get anything? I really don't want anything."

I kept getting letters from "Banc of America" and I googled it. Nothing really popped up w/ scam, except one person who went through the same exact thing as me except Banc of America was taking money out of his bank account. They asked him yes/no questions during the phone call and it seems they edited the recording and had the guy say yes for all the offers. Got me frightened...but that was a few years ago. I think I'm safe. I mean I have a dollar and some cents in the bank. Sure take that. Hahahaha

OMG nai you like playing with the fax machine? then you will probably like my work place i get faxes all day long... lots of junk faxes too... everyday as a matter of fact!

as for cell phone company to block txts that is not true neither..they cant even control that ...and they will probably end up charging you whether or not you have the plan. ive heard or read it somewhere i cant even remember anymore. (maybe it was on the news?!)

LOL pich...you know they can speak, read and write fluently in khmer which makes me a bit embarassed since i can only speak but can hardly read it..(well i can read or more like memorized the words alot better than i did some yrs ago)

my mom gets texts by some fools who are trying to get either her CC number or bank number.

first time, she thought it was for real, b/c she asked me to contact her bank about her card. she always explain to me why she wants me to do things now... thank god. b/c then she mentioned the text, and i told her about not paying attention to it ever again and that her bank would never TEXT her! that's crazy.

she also once got a text to visit some dating or porn site. thank goodness that was once. it was something like "i'm your secret admirer. go to this site, blah blah blah."

That reminds me of that one time my mom got a call from these debt collector folks. They told my mom she owed them $16,000 for school loans. My mom didn't know what they were talking about so she gave me the phone and I talked to the lady. I was like "I think you got the wrong number because my mom never went to school in the US...EVER." And they were like "Well our records indicates she did and she will need to have this paid." And I kept debating. They got the supervisor on the line, and they got the wrong phone...or so they say <_<

Sprint states that they do not release any of their customers' numbers out at all, esp not to telemarketers.
