Let's just say Marco and Emerald's relationship we can say it's steaming and dramatic where area Jewel and Jaime's relationship is adorable, funny, and uplifting...it equals each other out which is good.

I consider the series lagging because there was so little scene with Marco and Emerald recently. :wub: Beside's that they're focusing on unveiling alot of things in the past so they're holding up on the couple's romance as well. I'm still looking forward to more of Jewel and Jaimie's scene, yesterday scene where they slept together was :blush:.

I haven't read the novel/book myself but I wonder if Jaimie's character has any big significant, someone important. It's probably just me, they stated he's just a person who wants to protect the De Silvas, because of their past gratefulness toward his family.

I just went back to watch most of, Martha Cecilia novel (turn to series). She likes to have the girls goggling over the guy's body. I can see alot of similarities, but other than that they're are good to watch.

hey...=) i'm an avid fan of the KS(book)..i know and actually love the whole series so much...well,it's natural to get disappointed with the changes,right?
i just want to emphasize those changed and added parts with the intention not to criticize the tv adaptation, but to share to those who haven't read the real story in the book...
1.Emerald is mestiza.She is a carbon-copy of her grandma,Dona Kristine Esmeralda,who has a spanish and american blood.(Dona Esmeralda died when she gave birth to Margarita)
2.Emerald's intention in going to paso de blas is not because of inheritance or to save their house,but because she wanted to find inspiration and best setting to finish her book...
3.In Emerald and Marco's first meeting,Marco brought Emerald in the entrance of Villa Kristine.Emerald wasn't aware that the man's their family's enemy.
4.During Emerald's stay in the De Silva's,Julia treated her nicely.
5.Bernard wasn't kept.Don Leon was all aware that his only heir(because Romano died)is in the De Silva's and never pursued war against the De Silvas.
6.Jewel was called Black Diamond.She has a raven-black hair and eyes,and morena.In contrast to Emerald.
6.Jewel received the same treatment as Emerald.Bernard fell in love with Jewel at first sight,but held on in a belief that he shouldn't fall in love with her sister.
7.Emerald and Marco became the instrument in ending the war(if it really was war..since both never really pursued war against each other) between the two families that lasted for decades.
8.Alfon claimed Bernard his son.It was only later proved that Don Leon is Bernard's real father.

Beso del Diablo or The Devil's Kiss,story of Emerald and Marco,is not that complicated.I just don't understand why John Roque needs to complicate everything,but if it weren't Kristine series,i would want to watch it..
