Henry stop in front of a black, dirty, broken door.
“I don’t wish to come back.” Henry whispered. He turn around.
“Where do you think you’re going?” a man shouted grabbing Henry by the shirt.
“Dad.” Henry’s eyes was full of fear.

“I don’t have anymore money, Dad.” said Henry.
“Don’t lie to me.” said his dad as he hit Henry on the head. “Give it all to me.” He grab Henry’s wallet and took out all the money, and left.

“Where’s all my bear?” yell his dad.
“I threw them away.” Henry reply. His dad walk over to him.
“You threw them away?”
“Yes.” His dad started beating him up.

His past woke him up

“Don’t love me.” said Henry.
“I want to love you.” said Ariel. Henry’s eyes grew wide.

“I don't want to fall in love.” said Henry.
“I want to love you.” Hebe yell as it started raining.

Finds his past hunting him

“I want to love you.” Hebe yell as it started raining.

“She was my first love.” said Henry.
“I can’t replace her?” Ariel ask. Henry look at Ariel and shook his head no.

“Why did you dump her?” ask Ariel.
“I didn’t. We just couldn’t be together. We were separated by fate.” reply Henry.

“Henry.” Hebe shouted as Henry turn around. She ran over and hug him tight as she laugh.

“I can’t forget her smile.” Henry cover his face with his hands.

“Can I not said I love you?” Hebe ask as she put her head on Henry’s shoulder. Henry look at Hebe. “I don’t want to fall too much in love with you.”

“I want to love you.” said Ariel. Henry’s eyes grew wide.

“Let’s meet again, Henry.” said Hebe.

“Can I see you again tomorrow.” said Ariel.

“What’s this?” Henry thought. “Another Hebe?”

“Just give me a chance.” cried Ariel. “I know I can’t replace her, but just give me a chance.”
“I’m sorry, Ariel, but I can’t give anyone a chance.”
“Why?”

“Henry.” said Hebe as she hug Henry tight in her arms. “Forgive me.”

“I’m still waiting for her return.” Henry turn to face Ariel. “I believe fate have separated us, but in the end fate will bring her back to me.”

“What if she doesn’t come back?” Ariel ask.
“I’ll give up on her and I’ll date you.” said Henry. “To tell the truth I did like you after all.”

“Let’s go have dinner first then.” said Ariel. “It’s our first date after all.” Henry fake a smile at Ariel.

“Hebe?” whispered Henry as Ariel slowly let go of Henry’s arm.

“It was fate that separated us, and it was fate that we weren’t meant to be, Henry.” said Hebe as she slowly walk away from Henry’s side.

“I’m sorry, Hebe, but now I love Ariel.” said Henry. Hebe fake a smile at Henry and Ariel.“

Only if we can turn back into times.” said Hebe. “I would want to hear those music calling for me once again.”

Chapter One

(Flashback)
"Can we not said we're in love?" Hebe asked Henry as they were walking. Henry stop walking and look at Hebe.
"What's wrong?" he ask putting his hand on her face. Hebe smile at him and remove his hand.
"Nothing. I'm just thinking too much these days." reply Hebe.

(New Flashback)
"I don't want you to said that i'm your girlfriend." said Hebe.
"Why not? What's wrong with you, Hebe? You're acting weird these days." said Henry grabbing Hebe's hands into his.
"i'm fine, Henry. Don't worried about me." reply Hebe.

(New Flashback)
"Can i hear you play the voilin today?" ask Hebe hugging Henry. Henry push Hebe back.
"Will you be happy if i play it for you?" he ask. Hebe smile and nod her head yes. Henry took out his voilin and start playing a song.
"Can i have this song?" Hebe ask in the middle of the song. Henry stop and look at Hebe.
"I'll give you anything you want, Hebe." Henry said with a smile.
“Can I not said I love you?” Hebe ask as she put her head on Henry’s shoulder. Henry look at Hebe. “I don’t want to fall too much in love with you.”
(End of Flashback)

(Henry's point of view)

Those dreams again. It's been all these years now, why did i dream about Hebe again? I didn't just dream about something i don't know about, but dream about what me and Hebe did in the past. Why not good memories, why bad memories? Hebe and i are in the past. [Henry look up into the sky] Or am i just forcing myself that Hebe is the past, that i don't love her anymore?

"Oy, Henry over here." yell Sana. (Henry's best friend) Henry walk over to Sana. "You're almost late for the bus." Henry smile at him. "Oy, you heard about the new transfer student?" Henry look at Sana.
"New transfer student?" he ask.
"That's right. i heard it's a girl. she must be really cute." said Sana.
"I don't know. Nowadays, i don't see any girl cute."
"Ah--i forgot." said Sana.

Henry and Sana arrive at scool. As they walk in, many girls started screaming.
"Eh, you're so popular these days." said Sana. Henry smile.
"I don't care." he reply. Just then some girls walk in front of Sana and Henry.
"Ah--Ja, right?" Sana asked. Ja smile and nod her head. "What is it?"
"Ummm--i came here to introduce you to our new--"
"The new transfer student?" Sana shouted before Ja finished her sentence. Ja nod her head yes.
"This is Ariel Lin, she is the new transfer student." said Ja pulling Ariel in front of Sana.
"Hey, i'm Sana." said Sana as he grab Ariel's hand. Ariel remove her hand from Sana. "Eh, Henry, it's the new transfer student."
"I have no interest." Henry walk away without looking at Ariel. Ariel look at Henry as Henry walk away too.

Continue Chapter One

During lunch Henry, Sana and some other friends ran out of class like monkeys. As Henry and Sana was running they bump into Ja and Ariel on the way.
"We're dead duck." cried Ja as she grab her painting from the ground. Henry look at Ja and Ariel.
"It's just a little dirty." he said glancing at the painting. Ja look at Henry.
"Henry, Sana?" she said. "Umm, it's alright. I can fix it, right Ariel?" Ja look at Ariel. Ariel fake a smile at her.
"You're so cute. Do you have a boyfriend?" Henr ask lending close to Ariel. Sana pull Henry back from Ariel.
"What are you doing?" Sana whispered.
"What?" Henry ask.
"I thought you said you have no interest?"
"About what?"
"This morning when Ja introduce Ariel to us, you said you have no interest."
"Ah--she's the new transfer student?" Henry ask. Sana nod his head yes. "That was this morning, now I'm interest." Henry walk up to Ariel. "I'm Henry, you?" Airel didn't answer Henry. "She can't talk?" Henry asking looking at Sana.
"Uh--Ariel is just shy, Henry." Ja answer. Henry look at Ariel.

(Henry's point of view)
Somehow this Ariel, reminds me of Hebe when we first met.

(Flashback)

[first year of highschool][it was really windy that day]I was walking home from school when i found this one girl sitting outside the school. She was wearing a white skirt with a black, long sleeve. I ask myself, "How can she stay outside in such a windy day? It's so cold too." Then i realize she was watching me. She looked like she wanted to talk to me, so i walk over to her, and ask, "What's wrong?" She look up to me. Her lips were blue, and she have tears in her eyes. "Are you alright?" i ask. Still she didn't said anything. "You must be cold." I took off my jacket and out it around her. "This will keep you warm." She look at me again, and turn away. "I should be going home. Later." I took off.

(End of Flashback)

Henry jump on Sana'a bed.
"You're not going home today?" he ask.
"Who want to go home?" Henry reply.
"Your dad--"
"It doesn't matter anyways. He won't care."
"Alright. You can sleep over, but move out of my bed." Sana said throwing a candy bar at Henry. Henry threw a pillow at Sana.
"Go sleep somewhere else. I'm tired." Henry said.
"What?"

[next day at school]
Ariel was walking with Ja when Henry and Sana ran up to them.
"Where are you two going?" Sana ask.
"We're going to--"
"We're asking Ariel." interrupted Henry before Ja finishes her sentence. Ariel look at Henry, and then look away.
"Ja and I are going to the library." Ariel answer.
"Really?" said Sana. "I love books."
"Lair, you hate them." Henry yell. Sana pull Henry aside.
"Can't you just stop it, and let me talk." he whispered.
"Nope." Henry reply. "She's quite attractive."
"Sana, Henry, we're leaving, alright?" yell Ja.
"Alright." yell Sana. Ariel and Ja left.
"Why did you said that? I still need to talk Ariel." said Henry.

[during class]
"There's no school tomorrow, what are you going to do?" Sana ask Henry.
"Probably ask Ariel on a date." Henry reply.
"What?"
"Ah--you ask, right? I was just answering."
"Trust me, she won't go." said Sana.
"What if she does?"
"She won't."
"You want to bet?"
"10." said Sana.
"10? If you have faith so much that you're going to win why not bet more?"
"Uh--alright. What about 50?" said Sana.
"Alright. 100 it is." said Henry.

[during lunch]
"You have to go and ask her now." said Sana.
"I will. I will." said Henry. Henry started walking over to Ariel. Ariel was hanging around with Ja and some other friend.
"Eh--look who's here." said Ja. "Henry, what are you doing here?"
"I'm not looking for you." reply Henry.
"Oh." Henry walk over to Ariel. All the other girls started giggling.
"Are you busy tomorrow?" Henry ask.
"No." reply Ariel.
"Then go on a date with me." Ja and the other girls were shock. Ariel look at Henry.

"Then go on a date with me." Ja and the other girls were shock. Ariel look at Henry.

"What?" Sana ask Henry as they were out of school. "You just said that and left?" Henry nod his head yes. "Then how would you know if she's coming or not?"
"She'll come." said Henry.

(Flashback)

"Then go on a date with me." Ja and the other girls were shock. Ariel look at Henry.
"Just said yes, Ariel." said Ja. Ariel look at Ja, and back to Henry.
"Here's my #." said Henry as handed Ariel his #. "What's your?"
"###-####." said Ja. (Sorry i didn't want to think of a #)
"Thanks, Ja." said Henry. "I'll call you about the place and time." Henry started walking. "I'll be waiting if you don't come."

(End of Flashback)

"Where are you two going to met at?" Sana ask that night.
"Well, i'm not telling you." reply Henry.
"What? Why not?"
"I don't want any stalker after us." Henry laugh.
"I ain't no stalker. i just wanted to know. But what are you going to do if Ariel doesn't come?"
"She'll come." said Henry. "If she doesn't, then you get your 50 back."
"What?" Sana ask as he sat on his bed. "I thought you said 100?"
"i did said 100, but you said 50." Henry cover himself with the blanket. "I'm tired, i'm sleeping alright?"
"Did i really did said 50?" Sana ask himself.

[the next day]
Henry stop in front of a black, dirty, broken door.
“I don’t wish to come back.” Henry whispered. He turn around.
“Where do you think you’re going?” a man shouted grabbing Henry by the shirt.
“Dad.” Henry’s eyes was full of fear.

"Where have you've been these days?" his dad ask.
"Ummm--i was at a friend's house." reply Henry not looking at his dad.
"What are you looking at?" his dad yell. "Look at me when i'm talking to you." Henry slowly raise his head.
"Dad, i have something i have to go." said Henry.
"Where else is there to go? it's a saturday." yell his dad.
"I have an appointment with some friends." reply Henry looking down again.
"Alright." his dad said lowering his voice. "You got any money?" he ask looking at Henry.
"I--" said Henry reaching out for his wallet.
"Just give me what you have there." his dad yell walking over to him. His dad grab his wallet and took out all the dollars.
"Dad." said Henry.
"What?" his dad yell again. "This much money is still too little." his dad yell hitting him on the head. His dad walk over to the door.
"Where are you going, Dad?" he ask.
"Doesn't concern you." his dad walk out. Henry sigh.

[in a ice cream shop, Henry sat all by himself waiting for Ariel]
"It's pass the time we arrange." thought Henry. "Is she really not coming?"

[at Ariel's house]
Ariel look at the clock; it was 12:40.
"Is he still waiting there?" she thought.

[ice cream shop]
Henry look at his watch; it was 1:00. Henry sigh and stood up and as he stood up and turn around he bump into Ariel.
"You're leaving arleady?" she ask. Henry just stared at her. "I was just 30 minutes late." Henry nod his head, and turn back around and sat down. Ariel sat across from him. Both of them sat quietly not saying a word to each other.
"Are you hungry?" Henry ask. Ariel look at Henry and shook her head no. "Then we should go somewhere else." Ariel nod her head yes. They got up and left the ice cream shop. "Where do you want to go?"
"Anywhere is fine." reply Ariel. Henry stop walking. Ariel stop and look at Henry. "What's wrong?" she ask.
"Well, you said anywhere is fine." said Henry blushing. Ariel started blushing.
"I didn't meant it like that." said Ariel turning away.
"i know a place we can go." Henry said. "Follow me." Henry grab Ariel's hand and started running.

[at the fair]
"Why here?" Ariel ask.
"Well, i come here every saturday." reply Henry. "You're the first person i've ever taken here with me." Henry smile at Ariel. Ariel started blushing again. "Let's go ride all the ride."

[after the riding all the ride]
"How was it?" Henry ask. "Fun?" Ariel smile and nod her head yes. "Let's come again next saturday." Ariel look at Henry.
"Next saturday?" Ariel ask. "Well, i love to, but i'm busy that day." said Ariel.
"Is it so? then what about the next next saturday?" Ariel smile.
"I'll try to make it." Henry and Ariel smile at each other.

[school days]
"Sana?" yell Henry as he ran pass Ariel and Ja. "Where's my 100?"
"Well, Henry, I--" said Sana.
"Don't try to make any excuses. Where is it?" Sana handed Henry 100 dollar.
"So how was it?" Sana ask.
"It was awesome. Girls these days are so easy." Henry laugh. Sana's eyes open wide bigger. "What's wrong with you eyes?" Sana didn't answer Henry, so Henry turn around and saw Ariel and Ja. "Ariel?" whispered Henry. Ariel turn away and walk off. Ja ran after Ariel.
"We're dead meat." said Sana.
"Why should we? I didn't do anything wrong? I just ask her on a date." said Henry sticking the 100 dollar in his pocket.
"But, Ariel is mad at you. I mean at us." cried Sana.
"I have no interest." said Henry walking away.

[Ja running after Ariel]
"Wait up, Ariel." call Ja as she pull Ariel's arm. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing." reply Ariel. "There's nothing. I was just in a hurry to my first class."
"Did Henry do something to you?"
"I don't even know him. Let's go."

[After school]
Ariel walk out of school, and met Henry in front of the gate. She ignore him and walk the other directions. Henry follow her. She just kept on walking.
"Stop following me." said Ariel.
"I'm not following you." Henry answer. "I just wanted to apologize." Ariel stop walking and turn towards Henry.
"I don't want your apologize." said Ariel.
"Alright, then i won't apologize. To tell you the truth, i believe i didn't do anything wrong at all." Henry smile. "I'm just apologizing because Sana thinks i went to far on this." Ariel slap Herny, and walk away. Henry walk back to Sana covering his face.
"What's wrong?" Sana ask.
"It hurts." said Henry.
"Should i apologize to Ariel too?" ask Sana. "Would i get slap too?"
"Welp, you won't if you know how to talk." said Henry as he walk away.

[Henry going to his house, not Sana's house]
As Henry got close to the door, he hear yelling and glass breaking. Henry slowly open the door, when he realize things flying out towards him.
"Dad." Henry yell. "What are you doing?"
"Where's all my beer?" his dad yell. Henry walk inside the house. "Where are they? Where are they?"
"Dad, clam down. It's only beers." His dad slap him.
"What do you mean it's only beers? They're my life." Henry sigh.
"Those beers won't help you, Dad." His dad pull him by the shirt. "Where's my beer?"
"I don't know." reply Henry.
"Where are they? Where are they?" His dad started beating him up. "Where's my beer? Where did you do with them, huh?"
"I don't know, Dad. I don't know." cried Herny.

[the next day at school]
Henry came to school with a lot of bruise on his face. He walk pass Ariel and Ja covering his face with his right hand.
"What happen?" Sana ask. Henry remove his hand. Sana started laughing out loud.
"What are you laughing at?" Henry yell as he hit Sana on the head. "It's not funny."
"Sorry, i just couldn't hold it in. So tell me who did you beat up yesterday?"
"I got beat up." said Henry in a low voice.
"Huh? You what?" Henry sigh.
"I got beat up." Henry said again.
"What? I can't hear you."
"I got beat up." Henry yell out loud.
"You got beat up? By who? Why? For what?"
"I don't want to talk about it?"
"So which girl are you fight for last night?"
"I got into a fight with my dad." reply Henry. Sana went silent.
"I"m sorry i ask about it." Sana said.
"It's alright. I'm going first. Don't tell anyone about this."
"Alright i won't." Henry left.
"What happen to Henry's face?" Ja ask.
"His dad beat him up." said Sana. "Oops, Henry just told me not to tell anyone." Sana turn around and look at Ja and Ariel. "Don't tell Henry i told you guys that, alright?" Sana walk off.
"His dad beat him up? Why?" Ariel ask Ja.
"I don't know. It's always like that. Ever since we known him, he's always like that. Sometimes when he comes to school, his face would have so many bruises." reply Ja.
"Many bruises?" Ariel ask. Ja nod her head yes.
"But to think about it, Henry has gotten stronger than before. He's changed."
"How?"
"When i first met him, he doesn't talk much, and when he comes to school with bruise, they weren't just bruises, but there was blood. But after dating her, i realize he's changed. When he gets beat up, his face only have bruise, no blood."
"Dating her? Who?"
"His first girlfriend, Hebe." said Ja.

(Flashback)

[Ja telling the story from her point of view][first year of highschool][it was really windy that day]
Sana and I was waiting for Henry the shop across the school. When Henry walk out, he stop and look at a girl sitting outside the school. She was wearing a white skirt with a black, long sleeve. She look at Henry too, then after when she look at Henry, Henry walk towards her.
"Eh, look Henry's walking over to her." Ja said. Sana ran over to Ja.
"Who?" Sana ask.
"That girl over there. I heard that she's a ghost." reply Ja.
"Seriously?" Sana ask with interest. I don't know what they were talking about, but Henry handed her his jacket and then walk toward Sana and me.
"Who's that?" Sana ask as Henry walk into the shop. Henry look back at the girl.
"I don't know." reply Henry. After that day--Sana and i would see Henry walking around campus with that girl. Henry started changing each second. He changed each second by second.

"They're dating?" Ja shouted in shock.
"Yes." reply Sana in a really clam voice.
"How can you just said "Yes?" that kind of way?" Ja ask. "He's dating that ghost girl."
"She's not a ghost, Ja. Her name's Hebe. She's from a really rich family." reply Sana.

(End of Flashback)

"That's how Henry and that girl got together." said Ja. "They seem so much in love, i envy her."
"Where is she now then?"
"Who knows? She haven't contact Henry for a long time now. Still Henry believe she'll return. Ah--poor Henry. He's suffer so much in life."

[after school]
Henry was walking out of school with Sana when Sand and Henry saw Ariel standing at the front gate. Sana look at Henry and smile at him as he walk away, and let Henry and Ariel talk. Henry walk over to Ariel.
"I'm sorry." said Ariel.
"For what?" Henry ask.
"About slapping you early. I'm sorry."
"It's not your fault."
"And about your bruises, i heard about it too." Henry look at Ariel. "Don't blame Sana and Ja. I ask them to tell me everything."
"What's the point of knowing everything anyways?"
"Can I--"
"Don't love me." said Henry.
"I want to love you." said Ariel. Henry's eyes grew wide. He turn toward Ariel.
"Don't said those kind of things in front of me again." Henry walk away.
"Henry!!!" Ariel yell. Henry stop walking.
"Those words." Henry said to himself. "Even the voice sound so similar."
"Can i see you again tomorrow?" said Ariel. Henry started walking away without answering Ariel.

"What's this?" Henry thought. "Another Hebe?" [started rainning] "Hebe."

[Flashback- Henry's point of view]
I don't want Hebe to suffer. i don't want to see her cry, but i have to let go. I'm always getting beat up by my dad, every time she sees me with all these bruises she worries. Sometime cries.

[Flashback]

"I'm sorry, but i can't date you any longer." said Henry. Hebe look at Henry.
"Henry." said Hebe.
"I don't want to fall in love." said Henry.
"I want to love you." Hebe yell at it started raining.

[End of Flashback]

[Still Henry's point of view]
When she told me she wanted to love me. i was touch. i couldn't hold in those tears any longer. i just couldn't let her go. That was the first time i actually realize that Hebe was everything to me.

[New flashback]

"Can i see you again tomorrow?" said Ariel. Thsoe words.

"Let’s meet again, Henry.” said Hebe. Reminds me of Hebe. She said "Let's meet again," but she never did came. We never did meet after that day. Did she forgot? Or she just pretend to ignore me? Or am i just imagining things?

[next day at school]
When Henry arrive in front of the gate, some guys walk in front of him. He look at them.
"You again?" said Henry.
"We won't let you off easy today, Henry." said Ken (the boss) "If you don't want to get hurt, i'll give you one more chance. Join us again." Henry smile.
"And why should i do that? And for what?" Henry ask. "You let me chose if i wanted to stay or go. I chose to go. Why are you after me again?"
"Why do you still want to live on like this? She's not coming back anymore." Ken said raising his voice higher. "She doesn't love you afterall."
"Stop it." said Henry.
"If she really did love you, you think she'll just leave you just like that?" Ken laugh. "Join us, Henry. We can give you anything you want."

[Flashback]

Henry walk back to Hebe after talking to Ken and some other guys.
"Henry." said Hebe. Henry put his hand on Hebe's head. Hebe grab his hand into hers. "Stay away from them. They're dangerous." Henry look at Hebe. "For me, please." Henry sigh and turn back to Ken them. He walk over to Ken them with Hebe next to him.
"So what's your answer?" Ken ask laughing. Henry look at Hebe.
"Give up on me, Ken." Henry reply. "Hebe's my new life." Hebe look at Henry. Ken started laughing.
"You got yourself a new life." he said still laughing. "Good luck then. You hold him tight 'cuz if you don't, you'll lose him just like this."

[end of flashback]

"What do you think?" Ken ask. "Come back."
"No." said Henry. "I'm not coming back. I made my promise." Henry and the guys started fighting. Henry swing his hand as he punch the guy in front of him.
“Don’t show up in front of me ever again.” Henry walk away into the school.

Henry reach Sana.
"Henry?" yell Sana. Henry look at Sana. "What's wrong with your face?"
"Nothing much. I met Ken in front of the gate." reply Henry. "He wanted me back."
"What? Ken?" Sana yell. "If he wanted you back, then I got to be careful. He might come after me too." cried Sana. Just then Ariel appear in front of Henry and Sana. Sana went quiet.
"Ariel?" said Sana as she look at Henry. "What are you doing here?"
"Can we talk?" Ariel ask Henry ignoring Sana's questions.
"I'm busy lately." reply Henry.
"You're just trying to run away from me." Ariel yell. Henry look at Ariel.
"No." Henry reply.
“Just give me a chance.” cried Ariel. “I know I can’t replace her, but just give me a chance.”
“I’m sorry, Ariel, but I can’t give anyone a chance.”
“Why?”
"Because I--"

Chapter Five

"Because I made a promise." said Henry. "Promises are not meant to be broken. If you can prove me wrong, i'll admit that i love you." Henry walk away.
"Prove Henry wrong?" Ariel thought. "How?"

[saturday]
Henry's phone rung. Henry pick it up.
"Hello?" he answered. "Today?" Henry sat up on his bed. "At the fair? Why the fair?" He stood up. "Alright, i'll be there in a bit. Henry hung up the phone.

[at the fair]
"Oy, henry over here." yell Sana. Henry walk over to Sana.
"Why are you treating me to the fair today, huh? Something special going on?"
"It's a group date." reply Sana. Henry look at Sana.
"A group date? Who's going?"
"They'll be here soon."
"It's a group date." thought Henry. "I don't know what this feeling is, but i want to see Ariel."
"Eh, they're here." Sana yell. henry look up and find Ariel with Ja.
"She really did came." Henry said to himself. Ja and Ariel walk over to Henry and Sana.
"You're just on time." said Sana.
"Sorry, we're almost late. It was because Ariel wouldn't come, so i told her Henry was going too, so she decided to come." said Ja.
"Really?" Sana ask. Ja nod her head yes.
"Should we start riding?" Ja ask.
"Sure. Let's go and have some fun today." During the rides, either of Henry or Ariel speak a word to each other.
"Do you know what's wrong with them?" Sana ask.
"I don't know either, but they seem to be mad at each other."
"But i don't think they're mad at each other. I'm thinking they want to spend some time along together, should we?" Ja nod her head yes.
"Ariel you wake here with Henry alright? Sana and I have to look for something first." Ja and Sana left. Ariel look at Henry. Henry look away from her.
"Henry--"
"We already talk about this, Ariel. I can't give you any chance." said Henry.
"How can you not give me any chance, you gave her a chance to love you." cried Ariel.
