I used to love Ch3 a lot but honestly a lot of their lakorns the past two years haven’t really interest me as much. Ratings show that too. I know people say they don’t care about ratings but honestly the Channel stresses about that. They are always trying to figure out ways to bring back viewers.
One nek I’m pretty faithful in watching is Bella. I feel like she gets a variety of lakorns and they are pretty good. She picks the right lakorn and with great productions. Her and her boyfriend are pretty smart. Thats why they rake in ratings for both their channels. The only most recent lakorn that I didn’t like of hers was Pbeek Kaew Nang Hong. I’m not blaming her of course cause she did her part, it was the production and just boring storyline. I watched the old one too and I liked the old one more.
Lately though I’ve been watching more GMM lakorns and Ch7 lately. GMM has some WILD lakorns LOL but they are interesting and entertaining to watch. I’ve even enjoyed a Ch8 lakorn. Never thought I would lol, but it was Yardthip’s lakorn with Kade. I’m not a fan of either really but that storyline was so nam nao and interesting haha. I just recently got a Malimar account too so I can watch anything now lol. I’ve been going back and watching old Ch7 lakorns I’ve never seen. I feel like Ch3 has better visuals and outfits but Ch7 has better storylines and more of a variety of pairings.

I think Ch3 and Ch7 excel in their own style. Ch3 makes better period pieces than Ch7. Ch7 period pieces are typically slow and go nowhere. Ch7 makes the best action lakorns. Look at Kom Faek. Mark's remake was so incredibly bleak and depressing, Poh and Noon's version had a good balance of action, drama, romance, and comedy to keep you entertained. And honestly, I like what Ch3 does with their koo jin promotions. To each their own.
I think present day Ch7 is a lot better than it was over a decade ago. I'd like to think of 2007-2013 as the Ch7 dark ages. When Khun Daeng was in charge, it was crazy. Lakorns would be ruined because they extended them so much due to good ratings and she'd do everything based on a whim, I remember this one time she aired Vee and Yok's lakorn all week just because she wanted to. Ch7 lakorns in 2007-2013 were sooooo bad, I almost quit watching their lakorns. But then things got better. Ch7 is honestly still the best channel simply because they made so many good classics and I grew up watching Ch7 lakorns. Like you're not going to get the magic of Dao Prasook, Tawee Pope, Silamanee, Yatika, etc, ever again in this day and age. I hate DaraVDO and Dida but I'm also thankful that they made my favourite childhood lakorns and they were a lot more competent in the past. I also like that Ch7 constantly makes musicals, I never get tired of seeing Weir sing in some field haha.
Ch3 used to make better romantic lakorns. Ch3 can't make anything close to Manee Yard Fah nowadays. And Ch3 used to have the best slap and kiss lakorns. Ch3 is sooooooooo PC nowadays, it is annoying. For instance, I enjoyed Kluen Cheewit, but it felt VERY subdued, if it was remade a decade earlier, I bet it would have been spicier. Like WTH was with the remake of Samee also? It is hardly the same lakorn. Who & Who also used to make the best lakorns like Manee Yard Fah, Rachanee Morlum, Wanida.
So yeah, all channels have their fair share of problems but they also shine in different ways. I feel no loyalty for one channel over the other anyways.

I think Channel 3 is toning down Slap and Kiss genre since they want to attract foreign audience and some of the scenarios such as rapes,slaps,forced kisses etc may be criticized. Even in comment section of KC you will find a lot of criticism regarding aggressive nature of ML/FL.
OMG I remember all that drama. Annie refused a DNA test is what I remember & she would go on talk shows. So it was confirmed that the kid wasn’t his??
Ch3 is really trying to be politically correct because they have more international eyes on them. If they wanted to do a full on slap and kiss then could but just don’t do any r scenes. Look how amazing Hua Jai Sila did domestically and internationally. Ch3 just doesn’t like doing it full on anymore. They just throw in a couple scenes like that here and there.

Umm is Kao really leaving ch3 or something?? Didn’t someone say they unfollowed each other on ig a while ago? Hmm if she leaves that would suck since Ch3 is losing one of their best actors who’s been in 2 hits for them already. She’ll be perfectly fine as freelance though
Okay Peach to Pon is fine but I feel like Kao to Pat is a weird downgrade. I feel like that’s an indication of something going on between Kao and ch3. But at least Pat finally has another lakorn and it seems like a challenging one too so good for her I guess. Funny that she got a lakorn before Matt.

I agree with you as I watched my 1st lakorn with Ch7. Ae Isariya with Ekkarat. Now Ae is a producer at Ch8. Ch3 wss good before they said the family friendly lakorn rating lol. So I am still a stan of Ch7. Sometimes how bad Ch7 lakorn I can still watch due to storyline or acting skills. But Ch3 is so blergh.....omg it is so bad than Ch8 hahaha...

Pat is so pretty. It would be such a waste if they don't give her any more work. Good thing they let her be in this project. It shows that maybe ch3 still hasn't given up on her yet.

I think because Peach and Kao are going to the be the Change lakorn for Ch3. Kao and Peach are casted in it with Louis Scott. I posted in that thread yesterday but there were rumors that it’s a lesbian lakorn with either Janie or Sammy.
