I've been inspired by another thread.
So what do you find attractive or attracts you, both physically and personality wise?
What do you look for in a mate, gf/bf, partner, etc.?
Explain, why are you attracted to that type of person or trait?

I notice that I tend to automatically attract hispanics, blacks and certain Asians. But I've only ever dated Asians and even then I'm really picky in that department. I won't date guys I can't have a intellectual conversation with.

I prefer Asian, but I dated a white French,
I prefer someone older than me, but she was younger than me,
I prefer to forget her, but she keeps being in my life only when I'm really busy... (What about shutting down any Instant Messenger softwares ? - Yes ! I forgot this possibility.)

Anyways, I like looking in a girl's eyes (the part that attracts me a lot), see her smile, smell her scent, hear her voice, touch her ... <_< (Fill the blank, I have no idea.)

Concerning scent, it reminds me of this movie called "Scent of a woman" (with the great Al Pacino), it was amazing. A blind man that can say how the woman looks like just by smelling. I think that's why I replied a tricky question : "I'd prefer being blind than deaf" to my bro.

Why I like eyes ? Discipline wants us to look in someone's eyes while talking. I look even if I don't talk. Moreover, eyes are situated in the head, and of course, head is the only naked body part I can look legitimately.

Now, concerning personality, I think it's common for 'everyone' (I'll add my sauce also) :

Nice, has a good sense of humor, open minded, sensitive (but not too much, I can't bear seeing lots of tears for nothing), a little bit jealous (just to add some spice in a relationship), and a little bit choleric.

I know what you are thinking right now : "This guy is just so weird". Well, first of all, I didn't mean to post the word 'Choleric', but after what I read in a newspaper, I made a search and I found the original article in English : Want to live longer? Argue! Fight!. I felt like sharing this article with you, believe it or not.

Really, it may be my lame joke for saying it, I don't want to fight anyone right now :/. Now, my extra bonus : I'd like her to has a gift for cooking (and massage).

Alright, now that the balls rolling, I'll throw in my 2 cents.

So what do you find attractive or attracts you, both physically and personality wise?
Physically: I like my men, tall, tan, big and brawny. ^_^
I like guys with dark hair, NOT into the whole highlights thing, unless it's natural. I just can't stand to date a guy who's high maintence.
I also like my guys to have broad shoulders, not really sure why but I like a guy who's built like a linebacker. lol
I'm attracted to guys of any race and ethnicity but I prefer white and Asians, although I've only ever dated Asians.
Guys with dark hair and light colored eyes are super attractive. Oh and a strong jawline, love guys with a strong jawline.

What do you look for in a mate, gf/bf, partner, etc.?
Someone I can talk to, someone who's my equal. I'm not the type of girl that wants a fix-him project so I like my guys to be mentally and emtionally stable, none of this male drama crap. I like men with goals, someone who is trustworthy, considerate, honest, independent (NO mama's boys), someone who's confident but isn't full of himself. I like a man who's strong emotionally but knows when to be soft.

Explain, why are you attracted to that type of person or trait?

I'm a very indepedent person, that's just how I was raised. I need a guy who can understand that and accept me for who I am. I come from a loving supportive family background, not to mention very diverse so I prefer guys who can fit into my world easily.
Plus, the guy has to be very sure in himself to be able to live with me because I can't stand guys who get jealous or possessive and I won't stand for it.

*Long hair is a plus, if he knows how to take care of it.* There's just something sexy about a guy with long hair.

I like tall guys...well i think every short girl does lol. I'm also attracted to guys who are smart, funny, and confident (not vain, but someone who's comfortable in their own skin). Something about those smart studs is fascinating.

Like Xcappy, I look for the smile because it really does brighten up your day even if it sounds so full of BS. Faithfulness is a must. Humor is very important as well. He needs to be able to take a joke and swallow his pride when time calls for it. Someone who will lead and let me lead. Someone who I don't have to spend 24/7 with, who's able to function by himself. I can't stand couples who do everything together and it's funny because my parents do everything and go everywhere together. Sometimes I wonder if they ruined it for me haha. They better like ice cream or else there's no way on earth that we will last, maybe in hell though.

Physically? Well for me it definately doesn't matter I normally don't attract to people right away because of looks; I know it sounds like something everyone says, but I'm being serious. My dating track would prove so also. I normally got hooked on a person by the first words they say; like someone I cared for deeply I would have to say what attracted me to him was when he said "Tina why are you always the only one here when I have over hundreds of friends? is it because you're a loner?" I giggled and responded back yep; "yep; do I know you?" LOL cause he came and sat beside me on a bench at school during h.s and he happened to know my name and he told me his problems and i sat there quiet hesitant to say anything until he said the "Tina etc.." but I became attracted to him because I didn't think he was what everything he had spilled out to me.... ok that sounded corney unfortunately things with he and i didn't quite work... when it comes to my husband I can't say that he attracted me personality wise or physically wise first because I didn't meet him physically.... so for him it's personality... I had really low self esteem when I met him and he pushed me and re-created me into a whole different person by just talking to me everyday and not actually being here.... when I met him in person everything about him was what I imagined.. I thought he would be shorter and chubbier, but he had that hot marine bod x3 lol ....

what do I look for nothing really just someone who will treat me the way they expect me to treat them. Also someone who can put me in my place when it's needed to be done.... I am a hard person to get along with when it comes to relationship... Not to be conceited or anything, but no average man or guy especially a boy can handle me... it takes someone that can handle me at my worst to deserve my best... and my husband proved to be that person.... in all the relationships I've had no one treated me with the most respect as my husband treats me... so when it comes to what I look for? there is really no answer because it's just what feels right and who it's with?

why? because it's challenging and it allows me to be who I am... I can get really complicated and be too much work to handle so why would I waste my time on a boy? someone who says "I love you, but turn around and say it to someone else" .... with me I don't know it was hard to find someone that was able to handle me ... only 2 other guys in this world aside my husband (that I dated) I consider real men which is my Ex Chris and My Ex Tam aka Johnny other than that they were all boys.. it takes a real man to NOT speak of his relationship in a horrible way.. I know I did that but I'll admit I am a girl... lol that makes stupid mistakes... I rather have a guy that will say "she's a good person" even though they know I'm a super bitch.... because it shows they are a real man and ready to let go of what has happened in the past...

It's right next to the line disgust. T___T I guess because if you have that "thug" or "tough" act, but in private, you try to act cute, it's really disgusting. Sorry. ;p

-Talkative...I'm not much of a talker, so it'd be nice to have a guy who can make conversations.
-Smart...smart ass is fine cuz I'm a smart ass myself. I like a guy who can feed me info. I usually process all the info you give me so it stays inside my head. I wish that's how it works in classrooms. -_-

Someone who likes computers and/or cars. Since I'm a computer person, I figured they could fix my computer whenever something's wrong. For cars, it's the most useful. They could fix anything that's wrong w/ the car.

No plastic surgery. Unfortunetly, plastic genes don't pass on to the kids. So if the guy is looking freaking hot due to surgery, don't expect the kids growing up super hot without plastic surgery to help.

Because, it makes life easier for both of us. HAHA Plus, my mom...um, she's picky too. She'll ALWAYS find something wrong w/ you. Always. Always! So I try to minimum the negatives to save my future hubby's face. She'll never shut up

Gosh I'm so picky. I know I'm not even good enough to have someone like the above. But hopefully after finding some goals and completing them, I'll feel like I deserve someone w/ the above traits.

physically: What I notice first is their height, I like tall guys as most females do I presume. Someone who is athletic or takes care of themselves (not high maintenance) and has a nice smile. I can't say that looks does not matter because there needs to be some physical attraction at least but of course it's not the most important thing.

personality: Someone who knows how to have a good time but I can also have a serious conversation with, funny, intelligent, respectful and charismatic. Have a stable career, gets along with my famliy, I can go on but overall we just need to "click" lol.

- I like my men tall. I am tall myself, so I prefer my "ideal bf" to be at least an inch taller than me when I'm in heels (the guy may luck out because I rarely wear heels).
- I love dark eyes..especially if the guy has cute, long lashes for me to look at. lols.
- I love a muscular guy..that is, big arms, broad shoulders. It is so sexyy to look at. ;D
- I love the scruffy look..not too much though. I find it veryy sexy when a guy can pull it off.
- I kind of like the "bad boy" look. Not too much though..a little piercing here and there is HOT.
- I prefer dark hair. I'm not into all the bleach/highlights. Bald heads can be sexy if the guy can pull it off. But clean hair..don't like the long hair.
- I love a guy who can smile, a smile melts my heart.
- A guy with a great sense of humor is always attractive.
- An intelligent guy with goals in life but is humble.
- An understanding & loving guy.
- A guy who has a strong relationship with his family as well as mine because my family are real close.
- A guy who can be very romantic. I don't want a guy who buys me flowers for every damn occasion. I need his romance to be unexpected, its sexier that way. ^_^
- A guy who has a little jealousy..it adds spice to the relationship, plus it makes me feel loved. BUT definitely not to the point where it is out of control.

A guy who is strong, physically, emotionally, and mentally. I look for an honest, trustworthy, understanding, and respectful guy.

Because he keeps me stable. He plays a role in who I am and allows me to be me. He adds that little spice to my life.
