inside the restroom Pio tells Rei that he was more than multi-tasking of a computer. because aside from Rei has Pepper... he also have Monique. but Pio had a big bet on Pepper, he knows that Rei's childhood friend have this secret feelings for him. but Rei still denies it and will never fall for her. but Pio still insist and told him that people change... even if Rei knew her since they were kids... Pio tells him that he doesnt fully know her.
Pio warned her that all these pretending... this might turn out just like Wayne and Betchay (book 2 couple). telling him that Wayne and Betchay pretended as lovers... and yet they end up together.
at the farm, Pepper couldn't sleep so she decided to walk outside then there was Pio telling her that the shirt fits her (it was Rei's shirt.)
Pio: see... i told you that Rei's shirt looks good on you...
Pepper: only Rei's shirt looks good on me? (she was literally asking Pio if she and Rei look good together.) im just joking.
Rei thought could kiss Monique on the lips but he end up giving her a peck kiss on the cheek. he couldn't sleep either so he decided to walk around until he saw Pepper at afar who's still awake and wandering off.
when Rei decided to go back Pepper caught him and saw she called him.
*i love Guji how he speaks here, reminds me of Sam Milby. because they couldn't exactly speak straight filipino language, but rather using the taglish (tagalog-english) language, or sometimes if they try so hard to speak the language... they got tongue-tied.*
Rei: your polo shirt looks great...
Pepper: thanks... (thanking him for the lending the shirt.)
Rei: thanks also for asking permission.
Pepper: where is 'your' girl?
Rei: you know... she has a name. her name is Monique! and dont call it as 'my girl'...
Pepper: so where is.... Moooow-Nique?
Rei: Monique. well, she maybe went home already.
Pepper: you didn't score, right? (teasing him that Rei didn't get Monique.)
Rei: you're so rude... you're a girl and yet-
Pepper: what!?! (Pepper wanted to laugh on Rei's trying hard tagalog language. he got tongue-tied.) what's so rude about that?
Rei: because you sounded like an ex-convict. im sure at your back... there's lots of tattoo.
Pepper: (she kept teasing him.) come take a look at my back! (but he dont want to.) as if you didn' saw [my back] before...
Rei: that was before... we're not a kid anymore.
Pepper: what?
Rei: we're not a kid anymore...
Pepper: you're the only one who's not a kid! im really sure that you already forgot the things we played before...
Rei: i can still play...
Pepper: oh? really???
Rei: yeah, i can still do it...
Pepper: let's see... right hand to your left ear, left hand to your right knee... then your feet to your knee. (with her amazement, Rei can still do one their games. but she then realize something.... so she clung onto him to stop.)
Rei: im not comfortable with this... (he was referring to Pepper's hug and to their pretending moments as lovers, because Pepper mentioned him as her boyfriend.)
Pepper: then why did you agree with it?
Rei: if i said 'no'... will you agree?
Pepper: no...
Rei: see... you already answer the question.
Pepper: its always hard when it comes to you, you're always boastful... you always look down on me...
Rei: because you're small... (referring to her height.)
Pepper: that! you're always boastful... arrogant! you always feel like you're the superior when it comes to me...
Rei: you know that's not true... you're the one who looks down on me.
Pepper: what!?! of course not!
Rei: you dont think i dont know that you think i am such a feeler, too proud and boastful...
Pepper: so, what's the problem? why are you so mad? i am just telling the truth.
Rei: really...
Pepper: yes...
Rei: you... you think you're...
Pepper: you're what?
Rei: you think... you're so sassy?
Pepper: yeah, i am sassy! what are you going to do about it?
Rei just kiss her... without an answer. so Pepper kiss him back...
next scene will be episode 4... the continuation of their kissing scene... XD
