You have to watch ep 3 for the answer lol coz it's a little unclear to me too even after seeing the scene ... he def attacked her but the way they filmed it, it looks like a typical forced to willing scene coz how they shot it was romanticized so I'm annoyed at act art for this... coz based on how it looked it could've been forced and seduction not just plain raped. Also, the storytelling is keen on flashbacks so not all is revealed about the past yet too. It may be "rape" now but who knows later if they keep doing flashbacks the character profiles and true details might change. Unless you know the real storyline already it could go either way... to me it looks like force to seduction just based on the scene alone and she didn't tell her mom or sis she was raped by him just that she wasn't the one doing the seducing.

It was a little unclear in the book too. Technically it's statutory rape cause Reynu was like 15 years old but don't think Thai has an age of consent back then? Anyhow, I tend to lean towards forced seduction.

The thing with Reynu is, the book (and drama) doesn't want yout to completely label her an innocent victim because she makes plenty of bad choices along the way too. Which is where the title comes from. The deal is that everyone gets their deserved karma. So while you feel bad for Reynu, it's supposed to be her karma on some level.

But I think it's crappy giving half the blame to a teenager for that situation. They can call it willing, but she was a teen living in the same house as a predator to me.

This mentality still exist to these days and age especially in the poor rural area where education is not high. Story about how children and teenager were rape yet in they were told they were partly to blame, then the bast*ard that rape them are a close relative and they can’t report it because that is their breadwinner or don’t want to shame the family.

I’ve seen how a mom protect her bast*rd of a husband who rape their teen daughter, she didn’t defend her at all, because the mom was afraid if the guy goes to jail who is going to find money and feed the other little siblings.

I like JJ a lot but sadly his character is not interesting. I even like Ah Si, the youngest brother, more than him. I don't know if it's the character or the acting. And it seems Ah Sa and Junta will be a boring couple too.
So for now I'm looking forward to see Bella and Pear, Phet, Champ. I like Ritchie in her latest lakorn, so I'm looking forward to seeing her too.

I don't think i can give an unbiased opinion about Asa :risas3: but for what it's worth, all the other characters have gray hearts, with Yoi being black and Renu being bright red. Asa, according to the director, is supposed to be white. So he just kinda floats about doing his own thing until people crash and burn later on.

Haha. It's ok you guys can do it. I thought maybe I can contribute via Ch3's account. I don't actually wanna commit to any subbing team since I'm not 100% fluent. I've actually been trying to help out with a different lakorn, but it's not really working out. . . sadly. Haha.
