well about Joe Cheng case, girl was playing a freaking 13 year old character !! sometimes you have to let it go. Same about Jerry Yan. Guy is still stuck in those Meteor Garden's type of roles when he is now over 40 making him never grow as an actor.

I personally think she was a huge miscast as Dugu. She is better in modern ones imo. I think the likes of Joe Cheng, Jerry Yan, Ruby Lin, Peter oh, Michelle Chen, Ariel Lin etc... (notice most of them are Taiwanese) need to stay away from teenlike or pre-teen roles. they are not teenagers anymore. They can play detectives, leaders, charcters with a lot of layers and experience ! Sorry for being so blunt but I hope Joey Cheng will grow as an actress and stay away lolita roles
I didn't watch it. I no opinion on the drama. It seem all Chinese drama has that issue with age. All of them are suppose to be around early to late teens. None of the actors are. When I watch them. I don't really look at the age of the characters. Even in usa the shows are adult playing teenagers
