Thank you so much for updating!!! Keep it coming cause we love this fanfic and your writing too. :)

In case this is confusing (I confused myself at one point while writing this):

- Prarop (Nadech) and Chanon (Mario) are twin brothers
- Tawan (Chin) aka Sunny is Prarop and Chanon's younger brother from another father but share the same mother
- Roong (Namcha) is Prarop and Chanon's younger sister from another mother but share the same father
- Nathlada (Kim) is supposedly Chanon's younger cousin but they of course, aren't related at all because Chanon is not the Parker's biological son

;)

Chapter Four

"Okay, okay! I know! Yeah, I'll be on my way. Just let me grab a few things!"
Last minute notification to a hi-so party means little time to get ready. Narin ended her phone conversation with her best friend, Lada, and tossed the naked white iPhone on her bed.
"I'm going as a reporter anyway so why should I show up in an evening gown?" Narin asked herself.
She ended up throwing on some comfortable black pants and a white dress shirt. Narin swung her reporter ID tag over her neck and grabbed her camera. An extra battery would be nice too. She threw that in along with an extra lens into her camera bag.
"There," she said to herself.
Afterwards, she hastily threw on her jacket and grabbed her camera bag. She was already running late. The party was going to commence in about 30 minutes and there was no way she would get there in time. Thanks to the evening rush hour, Narin was looking at least an hour to get to her destination. Hopefully, her story on this big event will make the front pages tomorrow.

Nut, the Thepborisut driver brought the black Mercedes van to halt in front of a large, ivory and grand looking mansion. Then, he hopped out of his driver seat and opened the door for the Thepborisuts.
"Aow, Khun Ying Ornrawadee!" said Khun Ying Nucharee in a somewhat shrill voice.
She and Michael graced over to greet the Thepborisut family.
"Sawadee ka," Khun Ying Ornrawadee said to the Parkers. "So where is our star of the party?"
"He's running around somewhere," replied Nucharee. "He has a lot to learn and a lot of people to get acquainted to."
"There he is," said Michael Parker, pointing to the foot of the grand staircase.
Chanon Parker, or Andy, stepped down the last stair with a bright smile. He waved at a few young female guests.
"Andy, come here!" his mother, Nucharee called out.
Chanon came forward to his parents and the Thepborisuts.
"Sawadee krub," he said politely to his guests.
"Andy honey, this is Khun Ying and Khun Chai Thepborisut," Nucharee introduced.
"My what a handsome gentleman!" exclaimed Ornrawadee. "I think the last time we met, you were about four years old, chai mai khun?"
She turned to her husband, Warut, who nodded with a smile.
"Krub, I think around the same age as Prarop," replied Khun Chai Warut.
"Speaking of Prarop, where is he anyway?" Nucharee asked the Thepborisuts.
"Chai," agreed Michael. "Did he come to the party tonight?"
"Of course he did," replied Ornrawadee. "I think he went to the restroom."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Ow, scuse me."
Prarop looked at the stranger who had just accidentally bumped into him.
"Nong Lada," he said.
"Khun Prarop," said Nathlada.
They stared at each other for a moment. He was lost in her beauty just as she was lost in his charm.
"Sorry," said Nathlada, quickly.
"That's alright," said Prarop. "How have you been?"
"Uhm...fine," replied Nathlada.
This was going to be an awkward conversation. It was like they were complete strangers when actually they weren't at all. Nathlada remembered the last time she had seen Prarop, she was only eight years old. Her parents had sent her abroad to study in America.
"So when did you come back?" Prarop asked, interrupting her reminiscence.
"Uhm, I got back two years ago," replied Nathlada.
"Oh, I see," said Prarop. "I was in America."
"I know," said Nathlada.
"You know?" asked Prarop, slowly. "Well, of course, my mother...yeah, I forgot for a minute how close our parents are."
He indeed have forgotten how close their families were. They used to be neighbors until Nathlada's parents moved to America and now recently back to Thailand.
"So are you back permanently now?" Prarop asked her.
"Yes we are," replied Nathlada.
"So I was thinking maybe we could fill in...
A sudden phone call interrupted Prarop. He was just about to ask her if she wanted to go out sometime since they have been parted for so long.
"I'm sorry," said Nathlada. "Please excuse me."
She stepped away and walked outside to answer the call. Guess he would have to ask her another time. Prarop shrugged and went to find his parents.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Seriously?! You wore this and you brought your camera?!"
One good look at her best friend, Narin, made Lada's heart sink.
"You and boss told me the last minute," said Narin, quickly. "Plus, I'm filling in for a co worker!"
"You're supposed to be here to keep me company and enjoy yourself," snapped Lada.
She shook her head in disbelief.
"Alright, whatever," she said to Narin. "At least you showed up. It's better than not coming at all."
"Now where is your hi-so cousin?" Narin asked. "I need this article to make the front page tomorrow. It's a great opportunity for me to...
"Wow, you are really serious about this job, are you?" Nathlada shot back.
"Well of course I am," answered Narin. "Why wouldn't I be? It's my job."
"Whatever, let's go," said Nathlada. "I really don't want to be here. If it weren't for P'Non, I wouldn't be here."
They walked their way through the light crowd outside and went into the mansion. Khun Ying Nucharee and Khun Ying Ornrawadee was still in a heavy conversation and their husbands were also engaged in their own chat. As for Chanon, he was nowhere in sight.
"P'Non was here a few moments ago," said Lada.
"Ooh! Who's that guy over there?!" Narin asked excitedly.
"Who?" asked Lada turning around.
Narin was pointing in the direction of the white pillars outside in front near the doorway. She was pointing at Prarop.
"That's Prarop Thepborisut," replied Lada.
"Really?!" asked Narin. "How do you know?"
"I knew him from childhood," answered Lada.
"How come you never told me this?" asked Narin.
"Because it's the past," replied Lada. "Besides, I only got to know him for a few years. When I was eight, my parents and I moved to America for my schooling."
"But you know him," said Narin.
She snapped a few shots of Prarop from afar.
"Guarantee my article will make front page tomorrow," said Narin. "It's not just one guy who is a hot topic right now in the immediate news. It's two!"
"I'm thirsty," Nathlada whined all of sudden. "I'm going to go get a drink. As for you, go ahead and enjoy your work."
She shook her head and walked away. Refreshments were near the pool outside. Nathlada spotted some sparkling apple cider a few feet away and made her way towards that table. She grabbed a glass and the bottle of sparkling cider but someone else grabbed it too.
"Lada."
Nathlada looked up and found herself staring at her ex-boyfriend's face.
"Sunny," she said softly.
"You're here too?" he asked her. "I didn't expect...I mean, of course...
"How are you?" Lada asked him.
"Just fine," replied Sunny. "How are you?"
"I'm fine and better than ever," answered Lada.
"That's great," said Sunny. "It's great to bump into you."
He smiled a half smile and gave the drink he had just poured to her. Thanking him, she accepted it and returned the smile.
"Sunny."
An elder woman who seemed to be in her mid forties approached Sunny and Nathlada.
"Mom, I'd like you to meet Lada," said Sunny, introducing Nathlada to his mother.
"Sawadee ka," said Nathlada politely.
Kaewphila smiled and nodded.
"Nice to meet you," she said to Nathlada. "You're Khun Ying Nucharee's niece, are you?"
"Ka," replied Nathlada.
"How do you know Mom?" Sunny asked his mother.
"I just spoke to Khun Ying while ago," she told her son.
"How about Khun Chanon krub?" asked Sunny.
"I don't think I've seen him yet," replied Kaewphila.
"Aow, Nong Da."
"P'Non."
"You're Khun Chanon?"
Kaewphila stared at the charming young gentleman who had just approached them. Like the other young gentleman that she had bumped into at the airport earlier, this Khun Chanon looked strangely familiar. In fact, the two young men had a striking resemblance to a guy Kaewphila once knew.
"Sawadee krub, I'm Chanon Parker krub, or you can call me Andy," said Chanon, introducing himself to Kaewphila and Sunny.
He and Sunny shook hands.
"I've heard of your successful business," Chanon said to Sunny.
Chanon's sudden appearance seemed to have put Kaewphila into a daze. For some reason, she had a feeling that she had seen this kid before. As much as she wanted to ask him if they met before, she thought it better not to blurt out the question.
"Well, enjoy yourselves na krub," Chanon told Kaewphila and Sunny.
He turned to his quiet cousin, Nathlada.
"I've been looking for you all over," he said to her.
"Why?" asked Nathlada.
"Well I have a little gift for you," replied Chanon. "A gift I brought from America."
"Ler?" said Nathlada.
Her eyes were still on Sunny. Kaewphila noticed the interaction and immediately steered her son away.

"What's it, Mom?" Sunny asked.
"You like her?" asked Kaewphila.
"No, it's not like that," replied Sunny.
"You're blushing," said Kaewphila, trying not to laugh at her son.
She didn't want to embarass him.

"Do you know Khun Tawan Williams?" Chanon asked Nathlada.
"No but I know of him," lied Nathlada.
"There you are!" exclaimed Narin, storming towards Nathlada.
"Well don't you look happy," said Nathlada.
"Of course," smiled Narin. "Khun Chanon aka Khun Andy here, helpe me fulfill my duties tonight as a reporter. Thank you for your time again na ka."
"No problem krub," said Chanon.
"You will surely make the front page tomorrow," said Narin. "I heard Khun Tawan Williams was here too."
"He is," replied Chanon. "He went that way."
"Nee gae," said Nathlada. "Are you trying to get an interview of all the guys here or what?"
"No only the fresh-faced ones because that's what everyone wants to read about right now," replied Narin.
Nathlada shook her head and looked up at her cousin Chanon, who laughed aloud.
"Interesting woman she is," said Chanon, looking at Narin, as she walked towards the direction of Tawan Williams.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Besides Nathlada and her parents, Prarop didn't know anyone else at the party. He was beginning to think he didn't know Nathlada anymore. They used to play together when they were kids but that was about it. His parents had introduced him to a lot of hi-so people, some were business partners and other acquaintances but the only thing on Prarop's mind was Nathlada. He wanted to get to know her better.
"What are you thinking about?" his mother, Ornrawadee asked.
"Nothing krub," replied Prarop.
"Well I'd like to come meet Khun Kaewphila Williams," began Ornrawadee. "She is Khun Tawan Williams' mother, our business partner, the one you had a meeting with earlier this afternoon."
"Krub," replied Prarop.
His mother steered him to the a rather large group of people, including the Parkers. The cute little reporter, Narin, who had interviewed him earlier snapped a few more photos. Prarop was introduced to Kaewphila Williams and he immediately recognized her.
"Khun Na chai mai krub?" he asked her. "We met at the airport early this morning?"
"Chai duay ka," replied Kaewphila.
"I'm so sorry," said Prarop, apologetically. "I didn't know you were...
"It's...it's alright," said Kaewphila.
She smiled at Prarop. Why did she have this sudden warm feeling, she did not know.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Roong woke up the next morning to the usual daily newspapers and magazines delivered to her room. Without looking through them, she tossed them all on the coffee table in her living room and instead, turned on the TV.
"Now why would I want to read the news when I can watch it?" she asked herself.
No doubt, the news station brought up the hottest topic first. Three handsome familiar guys appeared on Roong's TV screen. She jumped at the sight of them and pointed at her TV screen.
"...are the hottest bachelors this year for sure: Khun Prarop Thepborisut, Khun Sunny Tawan Williams, and Khun Andy Chanon Parker," said the female news anchor.
"Khun Andy! And ew that guy! And that guy!" Roong pointed from one picture to another and covered her hands with her mouth. This definitely came as a surprise to her as she did not know that all the guys she had met the past two days were heirs to multi-million dollar businesses.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"So how did you like the party last night?"
Nathlada sipped her hot coffee and set the cup down in its saucer. She turned to her best friend, Narin, who was flipping through the newspapers to read the rest of her story.
"Dee maak!" clapped Narin. "The party was great! Thanks to it, my article made the front page and I got promoted!"
"Really?" asked Nathlada.
"Yeah, really," replied Narin. "My boss said that it is very unlikely for a reporter to suck out that much information from hot, single, hi-so heirs of these...these businesses. People like to read about these things nowadays and the fact that all three guys just returned from abroad makes their story even more interesting. Two of them have been named CEO of their family's business overnight and the other made his father's hotel business known worldwide. They're gems!"
The fact that Nathlada previously dated one of them, is related to another one, and happens to know the other one would probably be surprising and remarkable to Narin as well. To avoid further questioning, Nathlada thought it best not to spill out any information relating to them.
"To come to think of it though," began Narin. "It seems like these guys have a somewhat resemblance to each other."
She pressed the cover down and turned her head slightly.
"They do actually look a little alike, especially Khun Prarop and your cousin, Khun Chanon," said Narin. "Look, don't you think so?"
Nathlada looked down at the picture. Indeed, they did have some similarities and this was the first time that she had noticed that.

Chapter Five

"Similar. Very similar."
Kaewphila sat at the breakfast table in her hotel room and looked at the picture of the three young CEOs of Thailand featured on the front page of the newspaper, her son, Sunny, being one of the three. She looked from Prarop to Sunny to Chanon and like many others, she noticed a small resemblance among the three young men.
"So weird," she said to herself. "Why are they so similar?"
All three guys had a charming smile, alluring eyes, and dimples. Kaewphila smiled at the photo. How can three guys who are non-related share similar facial expressions and features?
"Mom, are you up yet?" Sunny called out, knocking on his mother's door.
"Yes son, hold on!"
Kaewphila went to open the door for her son.
"Are you not working today?" she asked him.
"I have a meeting around noon but other than that, no," replied Sunny.
Sunny noticed the daily newspaper on the breakfast table and went over to look at it.
"What did they say about me?" he asked his mother.
"Well whatever you said in the interview last night is what's in the paper," replied Kaewphila, sitting back down at the table. "That reporter girl was cute and adorable."
"Yeah, she was," Sunny agreed.
He opened up the newspaper and skimmed quickly through all three interviews.
"Wow," said Sunny, putting the paper back down and turning back to the front page.
"I think you three could be good friends," said Kaewphila.
Sunny turned to his mother and laughed.
"What're you saying Mom?" he asked her. "It doesn't matter anyway because we're all in the business industry."
"But you don't know anyone here," said Kaewphila. "We're not in America anymore and you now have a major responsibility. Making friends is one of the first steps to a healthy business."
"Krub," said Sunny. "I'll try."
Just then, Sunny's phone rang.
"Who's that?" asked Kaewphila.
Sunny shrugged.
"Unknown number," he replied.
He answered it anyway. It turned out to be a manager of a magazine company.
"Well who is it?" Kaewphila asked after the phone conversation had ended.
"A magazine company," replied Sunny. "They wanted me to do a photo shoot for this year's most eligible and hottest bachelors."
"Well what did you say?" asked Kaewphila.
"I agreed to it," replied Sunny. "It may be a means of advertisement too."
"Gaw dee," said Kaewphila with a slight smile. "When is this photo shoot taking place?"
"Tomorrow morning," answered Sunny. "Well alright, I gotta go now. See you later."
"Ja."
Kaewphila walked her son out of the door and waved goodbye to him.

In the lobby, Sunny ran into Roong. This time, she bumped into him. Sunny picked up her purse off the ground and handed it to her.
"In a hurry?" he asked her.
"No," she replied in a neutral tone. "Well now that you're standing here, I have a question for you."
Sunny nodded.
"Why didn't you tell me you were the owner of this hotel?" she asked him.
"You didn't ask," replied Sunny. "Besides, I didn't think it was necessary."
He took another good look at her and smiled.
"Where are you going?" he asked her.
"I'm glad that you asked," she said. "I'm going shopping. Come with me."
Sunny's eyes widened.
"Did I hear wrong?" he asked in a sarcastic tone. "Are you inviting me to go shopping with you?"
"Yeah, I am, can you believe it?" said Roong. "I don't know anyone here and I don't like going out alone. Back in my countr...er, at home when I go somewhere, there will always be someone accompanying me."
Sunny shook his head and put his hands on his hips. He wanted to laugh out loud. This girl was really out of her mind. Not your usual city girl. She's sassy with a little hint of being fierce. Sunny scratched his chin.
"Are you gonna go with me or not?" she asked him.
"Fine," replied Sunny after all.
"Well let's go," she said, taking a step forward.
Sunny grabbed her arm.
"We're not taking a taxi," he told her. "We're going in my car."
"Oh," said Roong.
Great, now she had company. It sucked to go on a lonely vacation and not know anyone. Her past few days were pretty much repetitive. Shop, eat, sleep, go sightseeing, shop again, and so on. She didn't like this guy much but hey, at least she will have someone to hold her shopping bags.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"A photo shoot?" Ornrawadee asked her son, Prarop.
"Krub," nodded Prarop.
He stuffed his phone back into his pocket and sat down on the sofa beside his mother.
"I was told that they wanted to do a photo shoot of me, Khun Tawan, and Khun Chanon together na krub," Prarop explained to his parents.
"Why?" asked Khun Chai Warut.
"No need to ask why," replied Ornrawadee with a big smile. "That's because they are the hottest young bachelors right now and not to mention they're all the youngest CEOs."
"Oh," said Warut, nodding slowly. "That's cool. I say go for it."
"I already told them I'm going to be there," said Prarop. "It's gonna be tomorrow morning."
"Oh yeah, that reminds me," began Ornrawadee. "We're going to have your welcome party this weekend. What do you think?"
Prarop nodded.
"Okay but may I ask that you not invite too many people and no reporters," he said.
"Whatever and however you want," said Ornrawadee.
"Thanks," said Prarop.
"Oh Rop, I'm going to the company today for a meeting," said Warut. "Do you want to go with me?"
"Sure," replied Prarop.
"Eh, looking at this photo of you, Khun Tawan, and Khun Chanon, you guys seem to share a little resemblance," said Khun Ying Ornrawadee.
That was totally off subject but Khun Ying Ornrawadee was random like that.
"What," said Warut.
Khun Ying Ornrawadee handed the newspaper to her husband.
"They're all young and handsome," he said, handing it back to his wife.
"That's true," said Ornrawadee.

[CONT.] 11MARCH2013

Nathlada returned home later that day to find an adorably wrapped small package on the dining table. She opened the attached tag and saw her name.
"Thim, Thim," said Nathlada, stopping a passing servant.
"Ka, Khun Noo," said Thim.
"Where did this package come from?" asked Lada.
"I just brought it in about half an hour ago," replied Thim. "Some guy dropped it off earlier and said that it's for you."
"Oh," said Lada. "By the way, where are my parents?"
"They went out around 10 am this morning," answered Thim.
"Khob jai," said Lada.
She took the package off the table and went upstairs to her room. There was a card under the beautifully tied golden ribbon wrapped around the small box. Lada took the card out of the envelope and read the message within:

"Sorry about yesterday. This is the most I can do." - Prarop

"Prarop!" gasped Lada. "Prarop Thepborisut!"
Nathlada opened the box and out fell a brand new white iPhone 5.
"What are you thinking about doing?" Lada muttered under her breath.
She refused to accept the gift. Too bad she didn't have Prarop's personal number to call and provide with an explanation. It would be awkward to call the Thepborisut household and ask to speak to Prarop. Even though they were familiar with each other, Nathlada felt weird the whole thing. It was as if they were completely strangers now.
Nathlada glanced at the digital clock on the nightstand by her bedside. It was almost 12:30. Lada had promised to meet Narin at the mall around 1. She took a deep breath and stuffed the iPhone box into her purse.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

They had been shopping for two hours non-stop and all the while, Sunny did not complain. He did though, however, wonder where this little girl got all the money from. Moreover, he wondered who she was and where she came from. Many thoughts occurred to him while they went into one name brand store to another.
Sunny smiled as he watched her shop.
"What're you smiling at?" she asked him.
"Nothing," he shrugged. "Its just funny to me that you have all this unlimited money and have no friends to shop with."
"Are you trying to say I'm stingy or boring?" Roong asked him.
"Neither," replied Sunny. "Where are you from exactly? Most tourists don't travel alone so don't even tell me that you're a tourist."
"I...uh...ooh, look at that dress!"
Of course she would change the subject. He followed her to the other side of the store and continued on with the questioning.
"You haven't provided me with an answer yet," he told her.
"I'm...I'm a princess," said Roong.
Sunny laughed.
"Yeah, right," he said. "Let me rephrase that. You haven't provided me with an accurate answer yet."
"You don't have to believe me," said Roong. "You asked the question and I answered it. Simple as that. Believe it or not, it's totally up to you."
"Fine," said Sunny. "Where did you get all this money?"
This time, it was her turn to laugh.
"What's so funny?" asked Sunny.
"I told you I am a princess so money wouldn't be a problem to me, duh!" said Roong, still laughing.
"Let's take it that I do believe you," said Sunny. "Should I be worried?"
"No," replied Roong. "Just listen to me and do as I say."
This questioning process probably wasn't going to get anywhere. Sunny looked at all the bags in his hands and shook his head. A few minutes later, they walked out of the store and Sunny couldn't believe Roong actually bought that dress.
"Are you hungry?" he asked her.
"I am actually," she answered. "What's good here?"
"There's a lot of good food here," replied Sunny. "What do you want to eat?"

"I want to eat Japanese food," replied Roong.
"Your wish granted," said Sunny.
They took the escalater up to the food court level and walked into Hokkaido Japanese Bistro.

"Hey!"
Nathlada looked up from her sushi.
"Isn't that Khun Tawan Williams?!" Narin asked excitedly.
She was too right. Sunny Tawan Williams, Nathlada's ex-boyfriend, had just walked into the restaurant...with an unknown young woman. She was pretty too.
"Do you think that's his girlfriend?" asked Narin.
"I don't know," replied Nathlada.
"Why that face?" asked Narin.
"What?" asked Narin. "Their relationship isn't my concern."
"Why do you have to be so serious?" asked Narin. "It's just a question."
"Well I already said I don't know," said Nathlada.
She and Sunny had broken up two years ago when she had just returned to Thailand. Back when they were dating, no one was aware of it because Sunny had asked to keep their relationship a secret. Now, Nathlada wanted that secret to die with their ended relationship. She didn't want to talk about it. Not that it was a bad relationship or anything but nothing worth talking about.
Narin waved her chopsticks in Nathlada's face.
"Arai?" asked Nathlada.
"I should ask you that," said Narin. "What the hell is wrong with you? After seeing Khun Tawan walk in, your facial expression suddenly changed."
"It's nothing," said Nathlada. "Let's eat up."

Narin eyed her friend suspiciously.

After placing her drink and appetizer order, Roong excused herself to the restroom. On the way there, she could've sworn there was someone following her. Roong stopped and looked around cautiously.
"Maybe I'm just seeing things," she said to herself.
It was when Roong turned a corner after leaving the restroom that it happened. Someone had pulled her into a corner and pushed her against the wall. He covered Roong's mouth so that she couldn't scream for help. Roong tried to fight him off but it was no use.
"Stop it before someone sees!"
Roong saw her attacker's face clearly now. When she had calmed down, the attacker removed his hand from her mouth.
"P'Wat!" exclaimed Roong. "What're you doing here?!"
The attacker was Wattana, her royal father's personal bodyguard and also her best friend.
"Your father sent me here to find you," replied Wattana. "You must return to Viraman with me."
"No," said Roong, sternly. "I will not go back to jail after I just escaped from it."
"I beg you," said Wattana. "Please don't make things hard for me. It took me days to find you. Have you any idea how dangerous it is out here?"
"Don't worry, I have that Sunny guy to take care of me," said Roong.
"That hotel owner?" asked Wattana.
"Yeah, that hotel owner," replied Roong.
"Princess, please," Wattana begged.
"No, no matter what you say, I will not return with you," said Roong.
Just then, she kicked him in the private parts and took off.
When she returned to the table, the drinks and appetizer was already served.
"What took you so long?" Sunny asked.
"I...uh...got lost," lied Roong.
"Oh."

Nathlada and Narin paid for their tab and got up to leave. That was when Sunny saw them.
"Aow, Khun Lada krub," he called out.
He got up from the table and walked up to them at the door.
"I didn't know you were dining here," he said to the two women.
Roong eyed them on as she sat and watched their interaction from the table.
"Oh, we saw you walk in earlier but we didn't want to be rude and interrupt," said Narin.
She looked past Sunny at Roong.
"Oh, it's nothing like that," said Sunny. "She's just...
"You don't have to explain," said Nathlada. "We're in a hurry. Now if you will excuse us."
Nathlada dragged Narin out of the restaurant leaving Sunny to think that Nathlada was jealous. He couldn't blame her. It was his fault for making her keep their previous relationship a secret and his fault that he didn't have her anymore. She had every reason to be angry at him. He wanted her back now.

"What was that all about?" Narin asked when they left the restaurant.
"What?" shrugged Nathlada.
"Why did you talk to him like that?" asked Narin. "You cut him off before he could even tell us who that girl was."
"Look, I don't want to know and don't need to know anything about this guy," said Nathlada. "If you want to do another interview with him, be my guest."
"Why do you have to act this way?" asked Narin. "Did you two cross paths before or something?"
"No," lied Nathlada.
Narin stared her.
"Alright, fine," said Nathlada, finally. "We used to date."
"HAH?!" exclaimed Narin.
Nathlada covered Narin's wide open mouth with her hand.
"Shh!" said Nathlada. "Do you want create a scene?"
"Why didn't you tell me about this?" asked Narin.
"Because it isn't necessary," replied Nathlada. "And plus, we broke up two years ago so I didn't want to bring up something from the past like that."
"Who broke up with who?" asked Narin.
"He broke up with me," replied Nathlada. "And I'm glad he did too. I was tired of it."
"So you didn't like him?" asked Narin.
"I did at one point but he wanted to keep our relationship a secret," Nathlada told her.
"Why?" asked Narin.
Nathlada shook her head.
"I'm tired now," said Nathlada. "Can we talk about this later? I don't feel like explaining anything now."
"Fine," said Narin.

"So who were those women?"
Roong stuffed a sushi roll into her mouth and prepared to listen to Sunny's response.
"Khun Nathlada is an old friend of mine and the other one, Khun Narin, is a reporter," replied Sunny.
"Oh," said Roong. "You seem to be interested in Khun Nathlada more than a friend. I saw the way you were looking at her."
"It's nothing," said Sunny.
He didn't want to go into the details about his past relationship with Nathlada. That kind of information was not necessary to explain to a woman he had just met. Besides, it wasn't like Roong would care anyway.

"Oho, wow."
Andy gaped at the shiny black Mercedes Benz glistening in the sunlight. This was his new ride.
"He likes it," Michael Parker said to his wife, Nucharee.
"You didn't have to...
"Ah ah ah," said Khun Ying Nucharee, holding up her right hand in front of Andy to silence. "You're a CEO now and our only son. Parker Properties now depends on you and as a CEO of a large property group, you must have a nice ride."
Andy smiled and shook his head. He was spoiled by his parents once again.
"Thanks Mom, Dad," he said to them.
"It's part of your new beach house gift," said his father, Michael.
Yep. For his education completion and upon his return to Thailand, his parents had bought him a brand new beach house and a new car. On top of all that, they even made him CEO of Parker Properties.
Their family bonding time was interrupted by a phone call. Andy took his phone out from his pocket and answered it.
"Krub," he said to the caller on the other line.
The conversation didn't last but approximately a minute.
"Who was that?" asked Nucharee.
"A magazine company," replied Andy. "They wanted me to do a photoshoot with Khun Prarop Thepborisut and Khun Tawan Williams."
"That's great," said Michael.
"Yeah, I agreed," said Andy. "It's tomorrow morning."
"Maybe they saw how handsome you three looked on the front page today," said Nucharee. "Come to think of it, I think you three somewhat look alike."
"I don't think so," said Andy.
"Why?" asked Nucharee.
"Because I get my good looks from you and Dad," replied Andy with a grin.
Nucharee and Michael exchanged looks and smiled slightly. They wished their son, Andy, got his looks from them. It made them uneasy when Andy said that because they knew too well that Andy wasn't their biological son. How long can they keep it a secret?

Chapter Six, 13MARCH2013

Other than celebrity scandals, new popular music, and things that are absolutely out of the ordinary, Prarop Thepborisut, Andy Chanon Parker, and Sunny Tawan Williams are the hot new topic that is currently trending. After their magazine issue was released, girls, especially teens, spazzed on about the new, fresh-faced CEOs. Their step into the limelight seemed to have brought about a wave of businesses too. They were the media's center of attention and their dedication to their respective family businesses earned them international recognition.
"This is why I don't want any reporters or photographers at the party," Prarop whined to his mother. "Ever since I did that photoshoot with Khun Chanon and Khun Tawan, I am like a celebrity."
Khun Ying Ornrawadee smiled and sat down next to her son.
"That's because you are a shining star," she told him. "If you don't want the media at our house, that's totally fine."
"I mean really, I don't understand how I get so much attention," said Prarop. "I'm just a newbie in the business industry."
"Your grandfather and father established this business with their own hands," began Khun Ying Ornrawadee. "Our successful business isn't just any success story; it's unique because at just a young age, you have become the new CEO and your hard work and dedication brings in an incredible influx of new clients yielding increasing capital. Not many people are capable of doing this nor is anyone fortunate enough to be in your position."
"I understand," said Prarop. "I promise you I will do everything to make sure our business continues to grow and prosper."
"That's my boy," said Ornrawadee.
"Well, I've got to go," said Prarop, getting up from the sofa.
He grabbed his jacket off the other sofa nearby and put it on.
"I've got a meeting with Dad and the board and then lunch with a client afterwards," said Prarop. "I'll see you later. Love you!"
Ornrawadee smiled as she watched her son walk out the door. It had been 24 years since she and her husband, Warut, had brought Prarop home. It was devastating to learn they can never have their own kids. Prarop was like a dream come true and she wouldn't trade him for the world.

Roong had just gotten out of the shower when she heard a knock on her door.
"Probably room service," said Roong to herself.
Still wearing a bathroom robe and with a towel wrapped around her head, Roong went to open the door without asking or looking through the pinhole to see who it was.
"Wattana!" she exclaimed.
Roong tried to close the door quickly but Wattana had pushed in. He closed the door behind him and kneeled before the princess.
"What're you doing here?!" she asked loudly. "Get out!"
"No," said Wattana. "I refuse to move unless you promise to return to Viraman with me."
"I already told you I'm not going," said Roong. "You can go back and tell father that I'm safe and sound. No need to worry about anything at all. When I've had my fun, I'll return home on my own."
"But I'm...
Just then, there was another knock on the door. Wattana looked up at Princess Roongranee and pulled out a gun from the holster on his waist.
"Put that back right now!" exclaimed Princess Roongranee.
Wattana stuffed the gun back just in time the door swung open. It was Sunny, delivering Roong's breakfast. Sunny eyed Wattana suspiciously and turned to Roong.
"What is this?" asked Sunny.
"What are you doing?" Roong asked him back, ignoring his question. "Why are you bringing me breakfast?"
"Because I you ordered it and I happened to be passing by on this floor so I stopped the butler that was delivering your food and decided to deliver it to you myself," replied Sunny. "I didn't know you had company."
"Yeah and thanks," said Roong.
It was definitely not a good impression especially since she was still in her bathrobe and a towel wrapped around her head. Roong shook her head and cleared her throat.
"Al...alright, thank you," said Roong.
She turned to Wattana.
"Just go," she told him. "I'll call you later."
Not wanting to heat up things and stir up suspicion, Wattana nodded and left.
"I'll be waiting for your answer," said Wattana, before closing the door.
Roong looked at Sunny.
"How can you just come in like that?" she asked him, slightly raising her voice.
"Well first of all, don't forget that I'm the owner and I have the main key to the room," he said. "And second, I thought you in trouble because I heard arguing outside the door so I...
"Alright, alright," said Roong, holding up one hand for him to stop. "Thank you for bringing my breakfast."
"You're welcome," said Sunny, turning around to leave.
"Wait," said Roong.
Sunny turned back around to face her and stuffed his hands in his pockets.
"What else do you need?" asked Sunny.
"Will you eat with me?" asked Roong, in the most pitiful tone ever.
She didn't want to eat alone. Not only she didn't like to dine alone but she was also afraid that Wattana might come back. Sunny was confused but nevertheless, he stayed and accompanied her for breakfast.

[CONTINUED, 13MARCH2013]

Andy breathed heavily and tried to catch his breath as he came to a slow speed on the treadmill. He hadn't had a good workout like this in a long time. It felt great. He took a swig of water out of his sports bottle and wiped the sweat off his face as a few young women nearby eyed him like candy and giggled. Andy turned to them and cracked a smile.
"Oyy! Narak ah!" squealed one of the girls.
She and her friends watched on as he walked towards the BowFlex Revolution.
"Aow, there you are Khun Chanon," said a voice.
Andy looked up and recognized at once the cute little reporter from the night of his party. He got up from the BowFlex machine and wiped some more sweat off his face and forehead.
"Khun...
"Narin ka, my name is Narin," replied Narin.
"Oh, yeah you're that reporter," said Andy. "You're friends with my cousin, Nathlada, right?"
"Chai ka," replied Narin. "It is me."
Andy scanned her from head to toe. As opposed to gym attire, the girl had on khaki pants, a black t-shirt, and a denim jacket. Furthermore, there was a camera hanging around her neck.
"Well it doesn't seem like you're here to work out," said Andy. "How can I help you?"
"Oh well uh I got a call that you were working out here so I thought I'd come out and take the opportunity to ask you a few questions," Narin explained.
"You mean you want to interview me right now?" asked Andy.
He already knew the answer to the question.
"Yes, if that's okay for you and only if you have...
"I'm sorry na krub," Andy interrupted. "I don't have time."
"Aow, you don't have time for a few questions but you have time to work out?" asked Narin. "I promise you it will be very quick. I just wanted to know how it feels to have time off work and how you feel as the new CEO and...
Andy walked off before she could finish.
"Hey!" Narin called out. "Wait a minute!"
She followed Andy all the way out near the gym's shower and locker rooms. Andy stopped in front of the men's locker room and turned around.
"You're still following me?" asked Andy.
"I said I only needed a few minutes," said Narin.
"No," said Andy flatly. "I am currently not seeing anyone from the media. I'm a businessman not a superstar."
He turned around and grabbed the handle of the locker room door.
"Wait, it's only...
"You still insist, huh?" asked Andy, turning back around to face her. "Well if you want me to answer your questions, do you dare go into the locker room with me?"
Narin gritted her teeth and balled her fists.
"Aie baa!" she bellowed at him.
Andy laughed and disappeared into the men's locker room.

"Hahahaha!"
Nathlada laughed so hard that she began to tear up. She could barely speak.
"Shut up!" exclaimed Narin. "I told you so you could help me not laugh as if it were a joke."
Nathlada kept on laughing. She grabbed a tissue from the Kleenex box and wiped the tears from her eyes. It was seriously that funny. She couldn't believe Narin followed Andy all the way to the locker room only to be embarassed by him.
"Oh stop it," said Narin. "It's not that funny."
Nathlada covered her mouth with both hands and tried to hold the laughter.
"What a jerk," said Narin. "He act like he couldn't spare two or three minutes. Big deal!"
"I...I still...c...ccan't believe you f...followed him to th...the locker room," said Nathlada, still trying not to laugh. "I'm surprised you didn't follow him into the locker room too."
"Yae Lada!" exclaimed Narin.
"Alright, I'm just kidding," said Nathlada. "So how do you want me to help you?"
Narin sat back in her chair and folded her arms.
"So now you want to help me," she said. "Can I even depend on you?"
"Nee," said Nathlada. "If you want me to help you, I will. But, I will not ask him to sit down on a one to one interview with you to answer some foolish questions. P'Non is right. He's a businessman not a celebrity. The media people should give him some room to breath."
"Alright, alright," said Narin. "Fine. You're so useless."
Nathlada laughed again for the last time as Narin sat there and stared at her silliness.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Na, na, na, please," begged Roong.
"I already sat down and accompanied you this morning for breakfast," said Sunny. "I'm not going shopping with you again."
"But I don't know anyone except you," said Roong. "Please go with me and I promise, I will never bother you again."
"No."
"Please."
"No."
Roong pouted and stomped her feet on the ground.
"Alright fine," said Sunny. "But you must answer my question and answer truthfully."
"Anything," said Roong.
"Who was that guy in your room earlier?" he asked.
"I...uh...he...he...
"Answer me," Sunny insisted.
"He...uh...works for my father," replied Roong finally.
"That's it?" asked Sunny. "Then why was he in your room? Why do you have to hesitate to answer me? Why did he look at me in a weird way? Why...
"Are you done questioning yet?" asked Roong. "Let's go."
She dragged his hand and walked forward.
"Wait," said Sunny, pulling her back.
She fell backwards into his arms. Next thing, they were gazing into each other's eyes. Passerby in the lobby were staring at them but they were in their own little world.
"What are you doing?"
Sunny looked up and saw his mother, Kaewphila.
"Mom," said Sunny.
He released Roong, who stepped a few feet back.
"Sawadee ka," said Roong, shyly.
Sunny smiled innocently at his mother.
"Sawadee ka," said Kaewphila to Roong.
Her eyes rolled onto Sunny.
"What are you doing?" she asked him.
"I was on my way to a meeting but there was a little accident," replied Sunny.
Kaewphila looked at Roong again who stood there frozen as a statue.
"Come here," said Kaewphila, dragging her son to a nearby corner.
"What Mom?" asked Sunny.
"Who is that girl?" Kaewphila asked him. "Why were you holding her as if you two were about to...to kiss?"
"I promise you it's nothing like you think and see," said Sunny.
"I don't believe it," said Kaewphila. "Do you like her? Are you hiding something from me?"
"No, no, I'm not," replied Sunny automatically. "Her name is Roong. She stays at our hotel and she's on vacation and has no friends and she asked me to go shopping with her but I didn't want to...
"Slow down," said Kaewphila.
She shook her head and sighed.
"I'll go talk to her," she told Sunny.
"About what?" asked Sunny.
Kaewphila did not answer. Instead, she smiled and walked towards Roong.
"Noo ja," said Kaewphila. "I would like to apologize on the behalf of my son. He isn't used to interacting with women."
"Oh that's okay," said Roong. "I'm used to it...I mean...it's fine."
"What's your name?" asked Kaewphila.
"Roong ka," nodded Roong. "What you saw was completely different...
"It's okay," said Kaewphila. "I understand. How about we go shopping together?"
"Arai na?" said Roong and Sunny, simultaneously.
They stared at Kaewphila in disbelief. What was this woman thinking?!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

King Inkharat of Viraman paced up and down his grand hall, awaiting the news from Wattana, his personal royal bodyguard. He was getting more and more impatient. His beloved and only daughter, Princess Roongranee had been missing for a week now and there was still no news of her.
"Still haven't heard from her?" asked Her Highness, Queen Dowager Wilaisak, King Inkharat's mother.
King Inkharat shook his head.
"Roongranee is getting out of hand," said Queen Wilaisak. "The outside world is dangerous. We must find and bring her back to the palace as soon as possible."
"I've sent Wattana out already," said King Inkharat. "He will inform us immediately if there are any news."
"I guarantee that it's useless," said Queen Wilaisak. "You know too well that Roongranee doesn't listen to anyone. If she wants to do something, she could careless of what others have to say and think."
King Inkharat slammed his right fist onto a nearby table.
"If I have to go out and find this little girl, I will," he said, angrily.
"I'm afraid that someone will recognize her true identity," said Queen Wilaisak. "Even though there is barely any public records of her, we should still be cautious and not oversee this possibility."
"I just hope that Wattana finds her and brings her back soon," said King Inkharat. "If not, I'll have to go out and find her myself."
Unfortunately, Princess Roongranee was the sole heir to the throne. Growing up, the girl was a spoiled brat thanks to her father, King Inkharat. Of course, she got everything she wanted but as she reached her adolescent years, Princess Roongranee's curiosity of the outside world has led her to rebel against her royal father.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shopping with Sunny's mother was awkward. She was a sweet and lovely woman but Roong felt weird in a way. First of all, she doesn't even know the woman and second, Roong really didn't know what to say. She didn't know how to spark up a conversation or make their shopping experience more interesting.
"So where are you from?" asked Kaewphila suddenly.
"Uhm...
"Sunny told me that you've been staying at the hotel for a while now," said Kaewphila. "Where are you from and where are your parents? Do they know you're here?"
Roong didn't know how to answer.
"Uhm...I'm from Viraman," said Roong.
Kaewphila smile quickly faded away. She put the purse that she was examining back onto the display shelf and turned to Roong.
"Viraman," said Kaewphila. "You said you're from Viraman?"
"Ka," replied Roong.
It was probably harmless to tell the truth because no matter what, Kaewphila would probably never guess that she's Princess Roongranee anyway. However, noticing the shocking expression on Kaewphila's face, Roong began to feel a little uneasy.
"Is...is everything okay?" asked Roong.
Kaewphila remembered that her first love was from the Kingdom of Viraman. However, that was a story from 25 years ago. Ever since Tonmai left her, that story perished with their love. At least, that's what Kaewphila thought. She was foolish to think that Tonmai actually loved her but she was wrong. He had left her to suffer in that poverty stricken area while she was only two months pregnant.
Roong waved her right hand in front of Kaewphila's face.
"Khun Bpa ka," said Roong.
Kaewphila shuddered and blinked a few times.
"Ka," she said.
"Is everything alright?" asked Roong.
"Yeah," replied Kaewphila. "I'm fine."
Kaewphila fumbled through her memory and recalled her sweet memories with Tonmai. One day, he had left for no reason and since then, she had never seen him again. Seven months later, Kaewphila gave birth to twin boys. She ended up abandoning her boys at the front door of an orphanage. Years later, Kaewphila went back to that orphanage to check on them but luck was still not on her side. She had learned from an employee there that a fire had broken out that same year and the boys were transferred to another orphanage. In other words, they were lost. However, Kaewphila did not give up on hope. She continued to search for her twin boys to this day...
