This might happen or be possible. Khun Dang and Off cancelled Lai Kinaree. Taew said Dang contacted her for a new script to be in the talk soon. Taew is ActArt’s kid.
If Taew is in here, I want my Kobori to be ...... James Ji. I loved him in NDFD as KT. He improved so much in the last two lakorns with Taew and they'll be such a great pair in here.
Only thing is I am not the biggest fan of Koo Kum... I hate sad endings but this is like a classic and might be good for international market too. JiTaew pairing will do well abroad.

Koo Kum to me is over remaking it. How many times do we need to see the same lakorn? I think they should stop with Kwang and Bird's version and to have other remakes after them seemed unfair because Kobori with Bird was perfection. His voice to me was calm and smooth...and when he speaks Japanese it's sexy as hell. As if the character was made for him and him only. I could not get into any other kobori after him.
One thing I don't care for with thai industrial is, a classic should remain a classic. Unless the production company think they can top a classic then go for it not just to remake a lakorn for the heck of it and miscast everyone under the moon just so a lakorn is made.

I agree on the remake part and P'Bird was great. It's an old classic that I've watched and loved.
My wish is that if they are going to remake this AND cast Taew in it, then my other wish is to have them cast JJ. He has a very soothing voice (VERY CALMING and Sexy) and he looks Japanese (I think he was in Japan for some training and some roles so his Japanese must be better than P'Bird).
Again, I am only hoping for JamesJi if Taew is already in here.... I want another JiTaew lakorn and I do think JamesJi will make a great Kobori.

As much as I want Taew in a new lakorn, I dont know about Koo Gum bc the ending is too sad. I would rather much have her in a new drama and not a remake.

Oh dear God. I do not want to see JiTaew in a lakorn with a tragic ending, especially not in Koo Gum. I'll have to skip this version even if it's just Taew alone. I've cried enough with the previous remakes. lol

I am not sure about James able to speak better Japanese than Bird. The problem I have with James is, he still comes across young. Maybe 5 years down the road but for now it's hard for me to see him in charge as a soldier. Bird has that realness in him and the maturity. And when he issued a command you believe it. James will come across as a kid playing dress up. I see him as a teenager still so that complicates things. Anyhow, it doesn't matter who we want the TPTB will decide. We either watch the lakorn or we don't
I get what you are saying but I just finished Game Saneha and he is not a teen at all. He did the mature role really well and he did action scenes well in NDFD so I think JJ improved a lot. I am not a big fan of sad endings so I don't want Taew in here BUT if Taew is confirmed then I'd like Ji here. The other reason is because I am a bit desperate for a JiTaew reunion and I don't want to wait 2-3 years for another JT lakorn. Ideal would be for JiTaew to have a brand new lakorn. Not a remake. I am so tired of the remakes.....

There's still a lot of people I want to see Taew and Ji with like Taew (Great, Alex, Pope, Ken T, James Ma (maybe), Tik (maybe), Ananda (hopefully), a better one with Boy) and Ji (Mew, Patricia, Yam, Preem, Mint, Nycha, Matt, and Kao).

Anyhow, back to this! I love KooKum. It’s like the truest classic of Thai drama. I lowkey wanted Mark as KOBORI, not gonna lie. Lol. But that’s only if Mew is truly selected for Aung/Hideko. Otherwise I am going to skip any unsatisfactied future remakes. I just can’t take another fail KOBORI.
I really want to watch a tear-jerker from Mark, ya know? So, I’ll be totally okay if he portrays KOBORI and dies at the end. I’ll cry a river for him. I haven’t cried so heavily for him ever before in a lakorn. Lol. The most is just sadness. If he takes on the role of KOBORI, I swear I will drip every teardrop for him. Lmao!
And why was I convinced Mark could pass as KOBORI? Well, he can fight for sure. Hehe. KOBORI is a fighter, action is Mark! But another reason why I was convinced Mark could do it is because of the intimacy between KOBORI and Hideko. Mark is sweet and intimate. He can easily generate chemistry. I want him to showcase his love for Hideko, while she pushes him away and acts cold to him. His baby face, yet mature persona can carry all those weights. When I saw Mark in military green outfit in KF. His large biceps and frame is screaming KOBORI to me! Lol Here is the picture to showcase aka prove his KOBORI look and demeanor. Hehe.
