WHAT IS HOTLINKING AND BANDWIDTH THEFT?

Bandwidth theft or "hotlinking" is direct linking to a web site's files (images, video, etc.). An example would be using an <img> tag to display a JPEG image you found on someone else's web page so it will appear on your own site, eBay auction listing, weblog, forum message post, etc.

Bandwidth refers to the amount of data transferred from a web site to a user's computer. When you view a web page, you are using that site's bandwidth to display the files. Since web hosts charge based on the amount of data transferred, bandwidth is an issue. If a site is over its monthly bandwidth, it's billed for the extra data or taken offline.


A simple analogy for bandwidth theft: Imagine a random stranger plugging into your electrical outlets, using your electricity without your consent, and you paying for it.

Hotlinking is a really easy thing to do, but we at AFuse no longer allow hotlinking here, and instead we hope members upload on their own servers and share.
I am thankful that you helped shared pics of peter though and especially giving credits. Many members still don't give out proper credit. I hope you understand.

I'm not that knowledgeable with computers and I still don't fully understand the whole "bandwidth" thing, but I do know that "theft" is definitely not a good deed. Your little analogy makes sense though, so that helped ^_^ . Now I feel like a thief haha.

So in simple terms: that means that I can still upload those pics, BUT not using the URL in which I found them instead from my own web page or something like an image hosting website, AND I still need to give out proper credits.

OMG I hate to say this but DROOL!!! They look compatible despite the huge age gap. It isn't that apparent but just knowing that they are almost 20 years a part, still gives me the chill despite age just some kind of number lol. And finally her hair grew!!! I hope she doesn't cut it again.

i so agree fun!!! i don't mind the age gap anymore since it doesn't really show..
and goodness, to my surprise, they look really good!!!
I almost couldn't go to sleep while looking at their igs yesterday lmao.

and i think her hair is still short, she might be wearing extensions..
