I think his role is a king role, so it is an honorary role. I guess it's something like in Japanese dramas where if a historical character is being portrayed in a dorama, a famous veteran actor has to be the one to play it.

Still waiting for Taew's pics. So exciting! Based on the discussions earlier in this thread, the character of James Ji is supposed to be mixed blood I think, he's half Turk and half Thai or something along those lines, since he's a spy posing as a eunuch in the palace. Not sure what the basis of the costumes are, if it's Turk or Thai or what.

I'm kinda sad First keeps getting demoted. But I guess it's something new for him, to play villain. I will have to get used to Phet in those clothes, lol. But still very happy to see him in more lakorns! AUUUUM <3 Sad to see him second to James but I hope his role is a good one. :D

It's so sad how Aum started his career in TV Scene with supporting roles and now he's only in his mid thirties and is starting to get supporting roles. Come on, Poh is in his 40's and is still getting good p'ek roles.

Taew and JJ look cute!!! As with Aum I'm not certain with what role he has, I will be really disappointed if his character has to go in the way between Taew and JJ. Like come on he deserves more p'ek roles and be paired with actresses he hasn't worked with yet...

I'm silently screaming seeing Taew's fitting photos. So excited that we get to see her in period costume again! Hooray! The photos of her and James look so darn cute, almost got me thinking this was a period rom-com, hahaha.
Maybe I'm the only one, but I don't feel like this is the beginning of Aum's "descent" into side characters. It's kind of like, they had two actors in mind for the leads, but that doesn't mean another popular talented actor can't also help the lakorn shine. Aum will just help bring another level of intensity to this lakorn! I kind of wish more lakorn had this mixture of really good actors acting together, sort of like Korean dramas? Without it turning into an entire multi-part series. Even if they can't all be the "main couple," we still get to see them bounce chemistry off of each other in a way that we otherwise wouldn't ever get to see. I've been waiting for Taew and Aum to reunite for ages, so I'll settle for seeing them act together in here.

I think Aum plays a important role in here. Somehow not playing p'ek not means that your role is not important. I believe he choose this script for some reasons.
So much potential actors in here, Phet & First, WOW, this one is sure a big project of TVScene this year
I'm happy that JJ&Taew looks so damn adorable together, aww I can't wait to see more. They seem so close with each other too

That moment when James Ji and Taew are paired for the first time and they were given two consecutive lakorns together (same cases happened to Tik and Mai, Toey and Namtarn). Looking forward to see how will their chemistry turn out in a modern lakorn and a historical lakorn.
As for Aum, it's nice to see that he is in a new lakorn this year!!! :D
