The old version with Kat as the lead was one of my favorite lakorns growing up and i'm super excited for this version as well. So far pretty interesting.

I just rewatched the Kat/Chakrit one on youtube over the weekend. I had forgotten how much I loved their pairing. So far I like Kat/Chakrit's pairing better but I like the story in Mai's version better.

I think Ch.3 followed the book more closely than Ch7? I like that they changed Risa to a kid who remembers being mistreated by the granny and stepmomma. Kat's version was that the granny paid the mom to get an abortion so Mai's revenge feels more personal and reasonable because Risa actually experienced it.

Also I like that Risa is the King's stepdaughter and Kamin calls Peerada mom. Kat's Risa was adopted by the royal family and Risa's mom was related to the queen. Prince Kamin is a way better character here. Loved that kid Risa saved her big brother from a snake bite. The old Kamin was a dumb jerk.

I'm not sure how I feel about the main n'rai switch. Here it's the stepmom but Kat's version was the granny, the stepmom was weak and just followed the granny.

@bubba I'm liking this so far.. I ended up watching ep2&3 with my sister through facetime but she had to hang up cause her baby was crying we weren't giving her any attention HAHAHAHA. I cried watching the ending of Naree Rissaya, I'm still upset they cut off so many scenessss too.

Thank goodness TikMai appeared on shows together to promote the lakorn! They looked dashing. Tik's earlier outfit reminds me of his Songkrod character in MLM series. Mai looks pretty in her pink dress and full bangs. Plus they are so cute!

Can't give my full review of episode 3 yet because the last 3 parts aren't subbed yet T_T I'm hoping it would be uploaded already along with last night's episode 4.

This gets more interesting. People keep on investigating about Risa. And I love how she is now Theephob's secretary. I can't even believe that Theephob's mother easily believe Kanda and Grace. If she only knew they're the evil ones! There's a part where Mira is in the Trigis Embassy and she looked pregnant in her dress lol. And her bickering relationship with Athiruth is really funny.

I got curious by what @bubba mentioned about the two books, Book 1 is Plerng Naree and Book 2 is where Prince Kamin is the pra'ek so I did some research about it.

Third title is อภิเษกสวมเงา "Api-Sek-Suam-Ngao" and yes the one with the face.

But I'm a little confused, the summary mention the Prince's younger brother??? So I'm guessing is Prince Kamin younger brother, which in the first story he isn't even born yet. So if the 3rd story is about Kaisat(or maybe is the bodyguard's son hmm ) if not, THEN the heroine is way too young for the bodyguard now, the first story bodyguard that is.

oh this is the remake of Chakrit and Kat's lakorn! But I watched it when I was way younger so can't remember much. Was Chakrit a soldier/cop also?

OK finally caught up with lots of FF the unnecessary and annoying scenes. They changes the story a lot from the original which it has its pro and con for both. It's all good, but I don't feel the sneaky fire revengeful from her like in Kat/Krist version. This one has more of a romance. I find her fire was a bit dims for it's name sake "Lady of Fire".
I like that Prince Kamin took more active roles into helping her, not kind of got forced into helping. But Tik's roles as an ex-cop I would have thought he would have been more actives in investigating or more alert/suspicious of her every move, and not having his friend doing all the works like the guy has no other police business that he has to take care of LOL. P'ek looks more like big brother trying to lecturing her into doing good deed, not trying to solves her mysterious being (but then again, this doesn't focus heavily on her mystery/history). But I still enjoy and like both version because is a great storylines. Can not wait for next episode.

@beamsgirl I believe in the old version he was a cop too, because I remember about him has to quit and come to work at the company. But don't quote me on it, I am not 100% sure ATM, because they didn't focus on his prior jobs like they did with Tik at the beginning. Too bad they didn't use his (Tik) special force skills to try to catch Risa. It would have been more intense than having his friend running around chasing Mira.

Who ever did the casting is/was totally colorblind He/she should have switches Cindy and Penpak roles around. It would have made more sense to cast Cindy as Risa's mom, dang it, even the younger Risa was plays by Caucasian-mix kid. hahahaha

Oh and I wonder if the stylish need anymore heels extension for the girls so that at some scenes they can look like giant toweling over Tik. I'll be glad to send in some if they needed more height for the girls shoes. Tik is not short, those girls just got giant genes or has legs extensions done HAHAHA

I literally just finished ep 4 eng and I just can't contain all this excitement for the next ep. S**ts going down real soon, MURDERER! Not really, but attempted murder. I just love lakorns where our nang'ek is strong. Been a long time since I've seen a good, intense drama like this.

I don't think Risa actually wants revenge. She's looking for her father's love but lashes out when he doesn't give it to her. That's why she didn't want to use the bank letters that Kamin got for her until her dad hurt her by trying to buy her off. Kat's Risa didn't have that internal struggle. No one in the Burapakiet could hurt her cause she just didn't care about them. I think it makes sense for Kat to be stone cold cause she was never hurt by them until her mom told her the abortion story when she was already an adult. They were all strangers to her. Mai's Risa has been living with that pain since she was a little kid. What her dad does and say can hurt her.

The guy who plays Kamin isn't hot but something about the way he plays the character that I'm just loving Kamin. He's coming off cooler than Tik's Pope. I love the siblings relationship. I can see why he's supposed to be a p'ek in his own story.

I think Pope knows Risa is all slim shady but he's not into investigating her because he wants her to tell him the truth herself. His cop background will come into play when the story switches from the family revenge to the palace power struggle I bet. You can see in the previews he's got some action scenes along with his buddy. Also his dad is friends with Risa's stepdad so he's going to have to get involved there, no matter what. Chakrit was an ex-cop too but it never mattered because they completely took out the Trigis story.

Never see that lakorn... What's the story about? And what is your rating from 1 to 10 in term of interesting/watch it or don't bother wasting time?

That is so true, Kat's version is full on revenge and the father was such an ass too unlike this new version, they mellowed out almost every characters. I like the intense feels of the old version, Kat did really well and Chakrit did a great jobs sneaking around (that is so him), but it lack romance(they also cute some romantic parts out).

But I can not wait to see how the actions is going down once everything is out. What will she do to the step-mom and the granny. Hopefully the actions at the palace will not be mellowed out, because I kept forward to see if Tik will get any action since they tease us with his first scene.
Chakrit's seems so useless after he found out Risa is a princess, so hopefully this one will made up for it.

I shouldn't start on this today, now I so annoying of the long wait for next week.
Fluke aka Kamin = his Casanova charms is oozing out thru the monitor, just look at his cocky face whenever he smiles HAHAHA lolzTik is too gentlemanly so he can't compete with Fluke's old bad-boy charms.
