WOW last ep rating is 8.1 :woot2: :woot2: :woot2:
Congrats! See, it's no wonder why we were all addicted. Haha. Ratings may not mean everything but it does say something especially for a lakorn that has no koojins. Haha. I'm proud of my TPK cast and crew. Good job.
I caught the ending a few hours after it aired; however, I didn't have a chance to officially say goodbye until now before I take off for my holiday vacation.
Overall storyline:
Cons:
1. The storyline could have done without Kat because if anything, we already had Pope's niece to cover the children department. There was absolutely no point in giving Pope baggage. Plus, we already knew that Pat loves children because of Nui and Pope's niece.
2. We could have done without Arthorn and Prao and Yood and Rika because their love lines were boring, didn't add much to our leads, and just used up precious screentime.
3. Not enough scenes between our leads, like sweet scenes. There was way too much bickering.
Pros:
1. Despite the storyline changes, this remake made its own unique mark. The storyline was still fresh and funny without trying too hard. The pace was good all throughout, no dragginess.
2. The cast, mostly, Poh, Preem, and Vicky, our leads were pretty solid.
3. The OST was awesome.
Poh as Pope: Poh brings a different Pope to the table versus Andrew. Andrew still has an issue with acting through his eyes. He usually does it with his mouth instead. Haha. I really liked Poh in here. His emotions, the passion, the rage, the pain from the betrayals, everything was well done. I almost wanted to jin Poh with Preem because Poh totally was Pope to me, but then I remembered, oh he's married, can't. Haha. It's funny how I was never a Poh fan when he was younger. I always found his acting to be so annoying but now, he's bearable. I think it's because Poh has finally learned how to act with his eyes, not so much his facial spasms. I begin liking Poh in Sai See Plerng, so thank goodness, I gave him another chance in here.
Preem as Pat: I'm going to say it again, I find Preem to be one cuteass actress who turns very annoying, arrogant, and dumb nang'ake roles into cute, bearable, and sometimes, understanding characters. I've always had a soft spot for Preem ever since the Khun Chai series and then Samee and then now. Yes, Pat was dumb but somehow, in life, we just can't take things too seriously or else we may miss our happiness, so I'm glad that Pat and Pope learned to forgive, forget, and move on forward or else they may never reach their destination together happily. There were times when Preem's pronunciation was off or tone was like huh? But I understand that her Thai still isn't up to par yet but her acting was pretty on point. Preem still has a ways as a solid actress, but since she's still considered a newbie or new generation nang'ake, she's doing a decent job.
Vicky as Pim: What a waste for Vicky. This is Vicky's first nang'rai role and it's such a dull character. Vicky had no real scenes to showcase her acting chops. What a pity. Pim isn't smart at all. The only thing had going for her is her beauty and Pat. Despite the lack of development or evilness, Vicky did a pretty good job.
I'm so happy that this lakorn received such heart warming good ratings for such an underrated lakorn due to the pairing of our leads. This is a pretty good remake, overall. It had me and all of us at the edge of our seats asking for more. I mean, it definitely had me searching and reading summaries because I just couldn't wait. Hahaha.
Alright, everyone, see you guys around here in other threads. :kiss2:
Goodbye, Tang Parn Kammathep!  Thank you the cast and crew for producing such a good lakorn for all of us here to enjoy. You guys have worked hard, so please rest well and produce more.
