Has anyone seen this fairly unknown Korean drama called "new tales of giseang". I saw it on Dramafever with eng subs

I love the way they show the progression in the male leads character and how he ultimately mentally matures and realizes just how much he loves the girl.

The girl is one of those illogical idealistic types and sometimes her stubbornness is mind boggling but both leads are easy on the eyes and so you don't mind ignoring the occasional nonsense.

The side characters are also bearable but the male lead is good looking plus the change in his character makes it a good watch

Well the male lead was in Kim Hee Sun's drama 'faith' and was hot with mane of glory hair. The female lead was in 'Inspiring Generation' with Kim Hyung Joong and competed others in the battle who acted most suck and won with landslide. New tales of Gisaeng was a story full with Korean typical ridiculous clichés and the fully devoted male lead was the only reason I checked out with ffs.

Yep the male leads utter change after his understanding of his own feelings was a good watch
Plus he was a hottie
The rest of the side characters were, well, bearable
And if you think Korean or Thai dramas are cliched, watch some south Asian ones!!!

Well, clichés does not mean bad. you know our daily life is so boring so needs a lit faith in magic, miracles fairy tales. Plus lots of eye candies.

Have you guys watch taiwanese drama "autumn concerto". I swear that's like one of the best drama I've ever watched. Plus both the leads are beauitful and their baby is extremely cute too.

And there's another tw drama that's smiliar to mai sin rai fai sawat. It's le Jun kai, I believe. If you guys watch that, you guys will probably forgive pattawee in an instant loool the main guy in their was a complete asshole to the girl compared to how wee treated chit. He tricked her into marrying him, raped her, divorced her on her bday, brought back girls during the marriage and told her to go an abortion....


Wee is so much better in a sense that he doesnt mistreat Chit beside using her for sexual pleasures. And at least he tries to redeem himself as a good husband and father once he found she was pregnant. The other dude told the girl to get abortion, if not then he'll push her down the stairs and it'll be the same result. How harsh is that.
 

 
LOL...but can someone please tell me..that out of all the time Wee could possibly wear his wedding ring...why must it be during his confession to Chit...?

So back to this lakorn - such a blooper that the actor is wearing his wedding ring during the shoot and no one asked him to take it off. Maybe they were in such a rush to complete the shooting of this mess, that they didn't care anymore

Well, le jun kai was intense and short but he died protecting her in the end. But the two leads have amazing chemistry. Have you seen their 'Ring Ring Bell'? They were so sweet. And I love Janine. Have you seen her Sunny Happiness with Mike He? The bed scene was the best. Mike is one hell of a kisser. Autumn Concerto was cute only because of Xiao Lè for half reason. But it went a lit out of spiral during last 3rd.

There is another drama of Janine with Wallace Chung (what a hottie - swoon) - best time - I think

Oh how I loved the character he played - he loved her and protected her from the man she loved who was now dating her bff. There were two endings but of course I only watched the one where she ended up with Wallace

The scene in the restaurant where she realizes her boyfriend and her bff are dating and how she and Wallace acted - gut wrenchingly amazing

I don't like Mike He too much - don't find him hot and he tends to play over the top characters

The main problem with tw or Chinese dramas is that I can't stand anyone older than 12 years having bangs or fringes or hair covering their forehead all the way till their eyes. I abhor that hairstyle and I cant watch the actresses - so many dramas are simply out for me - silly stuff but it's my pain point.

LOL :lmao3:  :lmao3:  :lmao3: … I suppose it have been really boring in this drama to have everyone talking about other things besides this drama… LOL  :lmao3:  :lmao3:  :lmao3: .. Thank goodness i gave up in episode 2, otherwise I will be crazy all over again like with Mia Tuean :worthy: .

you're not following your own words. The head and the tail are not in sync. Well, actually I don't really watch TWs. Just some famous ones. I couldn't digest Meteor Garden. And it also makes me feel reluctant to the others. We got all the time till Monday for the finale which does not excite me.

LMFAO!!!  he's confessing but it's like yeah "im a married man" oh wells...dude bad timing for the directors lol
 
btw how can they make such a movie like  le Jun kai,, that storyline just sounds sad & awful, cruel too..what the heck was the ending like ? good lord
