[OneHD] Roy Leh Sanae Rai (EXACT)

I didn't like the OST in the beginning when the lakorn first aired, but I guess it grew on me. I don't think it's too bad now. Of course the old OST would always - in most cases - would sound better than the newer version, but it doesn't hurt to appreciate the newer songs. :)

I think that many people, including myself, were left disappointed because there was too much of a high expectation for this remake. I mean, I understand why but we have newer actors and actresses portraying these roles that were very well performed previously by actors and actresses that were, let's say, much better. It's obvious that we were going to be left somewhat disappointed yet bias despite how good of a good actor/actress they were in their previous lakorns. lol It's best to just go to something with an open, unbias mind. Sometimes I try not to watch a remake with so much expectations, because I know that I would only be left disappointed. Not many people had that much of a high expectation for Leh Ratee, which is why many people actually ended up liking it more than that had expected. Not many of them - main cast of RLSR - had played enough different roles to be good enough yet, but I see that each and every one them have potential in the near future. Hopefully they'll improve after playing such roles that were different from the previous characters they've played.

Lily is decent at best. She doesn't wow me, but she doesn't make me cringe either, so that's good. Lily is doing better than Push.

I think it's okay to have high expectations. Many people had high expectations for Leh Ratee too, and it became a hit. Sean and Esther were also newbies. I think the problem with this is that some people feel there were better actors and actresses from the same generation and channel who could've done better in these roles. Plus, the production isn't that good, from the ost, to the filming, to the editing. Nothing stands out.

You know who they should've cast as Pornfah? Fang. Her features are similar to Ploy's and her acting is a lot better than the actress's in here. Plus, Fang is convincing as the seductive and sexy nang'rai, whereas the actress in here really isn't all that pretty, let alone sexy.

To me, there are 2 actors that newbies should stay away from remaking their lakorns that is Willy and Tik. Willy would be the hardest because when he was in his prime, actors now in this generation could not make the roles any better. First, just the physicality of it is hard to match up. I haven't come across any actors in this time that has the charm that Willy has.

The four praek that their lakorns should not be remake and it doesn't matter how much their lakorn are remake, the origins version will be the best are Tik,Ken,Aum and Willy. Trust me, in which ever lakorns of these four that are remake will be failure. Theses four actors leaves behind so much impression and great feedback from the fans that when or if their lakorns are remake. There will be comparison and high expectation because Tik,Ken,Aum and Willy all set their lakorn really high. If you look closely, Fun Fueng was remake and was that hit of a hit, RLSR is now airing and it's not a hit at all. Prissana of Tik is airing and its a big time failure. Nueng Nai Suag airing right now also not that of a big hit. Tik,Ken,Aum and Wily will give bad luck to the newbie actors because all of their lakorns are too of a high expectation to act out. JLR, shouldn't be remake, if it is a remake, they need a strong and aggressive along with super talented actor to pull the role of Harit or the role will be a failure.

I see your point, although I don't actually mind remakes even if they aren't as good as the originals. I mean, even if they are bad we can just ignore them and we will always have the originals- nothing can take that away. I think it's because I'm used to watching remakes. I've seen several versions of Pride and Prejudice, even some jdrama and korean drama, etc. so I don't actually mind so much. It's true that it's really hard for the remakes to top the originals.

There are some lakorns that are in need of a remake- there was one lakorn where Kob was playing a nurse (I forget the title) and I liked the beginning but the ending was bad - I think it could benefit from a remake where they fix the ending. Maybe add nice scenes between the couple or something like that. In the lakorn they lacked those type of scenes.

For me, it's Saranyu and Willy. Tik is touchable. Lol. I don't think he's the greatest actor. I think he was able to nail his role in here because he had a crush on Aom so that generated more chemistry.
I agree about Saranyu. Mon Rak Look Toong was my favorite lakorn from him. He played his character so well and displayed all emotions so perfectly whether it was comedic, sadness, happiness, and angriness. Since then, Mon Rak has been remade a few times and every time it was remade, it sucked (even though I liked the actors and actresses in it). I miss those old times when I grew up with that lakorn.

Tik was my first ever Thai celeb crush. Lol. Tik have had some genuine works that shouldn't be touched such as Leuard Kattiya, Tawan Tud Burapha (as much as I love Son I bet he's gonna ruin it LOL), and Kaew Tah Pee. Roy Leh Sanae Rai right now isn't bad at all despite what others think. Pra'ek's character is supposed to be shameful and vengeful turned confusing and stubborn guy. Push is doing just that. I agree that Tik was a better Kongpope before the wedding because Tik looked stupid, shameful, and confused all in one whereas Push just looked lost. Lol. But, we'll just have to see. So far, the only thing that I'm annoyed by is the Aunt, Pornfah, and Jenny. Jenny is probably the most insignificant character. Three club biotches is all we need but then there's Jenny and her little trio.

His version of Mon Ruk Look Toong was a very important part of my childhood. It brought me happiness and thinking back about those times always make me smile. He was so handsome. I loved them in Dome Tong too. He was always so tae and lor in all his roles. Like, no one can give out the same p'ek vibe as him. He was destined to be p'ek.

So I just watched that short preview for the next episode & Push's voice sounded like Tik there. Yikes! Don't get me wrong, Push definitely has potential to grow, but I'd have to disagree that he's better than Tik. It always bothers me when newbies are said to be better than veteran actors. Tik might not be the BEST actor in his generation, but he is definitely ONE of the best. He didn't just get his reputation from nothing.

Yes!!! His version of MRLT is unforgettable. It drew my family together. We were hooked on it. The good times!

I was in love with Saranyu too. I watched Massaya a few times with him, he was my childhood actor before Tik or Willy. Many of the lakorns when I was growing up and enjoyed with my parents were a lot of his.

I like his tan, tall self. He has a way about him that makes his character realistic to me.

Haha! Tik & Aom were the perfect pair. She's petite & fits perfectly in his embrace. No "morning after scene" has ever come close to their's in RLSR. Tik's huge arms...drools.
