Tik—Jesdaporn Pholdee is glad that the fans on the internet would like him to take a role of “Prince Poj” in the TV series “Prissana” once again. He reveals he will have a movie coming out in the middle of the year after he has been away from the silver screen for some time.

We can say he is still a handsome and salable leading superstar even though he is already married. Tik—Jesdaporn has been absent from the TV screen for a long time since the Wanida series. The news also indicates that the leading actress for this role is going to be Yaya (Urassaya Sperbund) and the people would like both of us to take these roles together. It would be awesome if the leading actress is Yaya because she is cute. But we will have to ask her first if she wants me to take this role (laugh). I am very glad that the people still miss me. If I can play this role in both the old and the new version, it would be great. If someone contacts me for this I would probably accept it”, said Tik.
We further asked when he would have another TV series after having been away from the TV screen for quite a long time, the famous superstar says that he has not gone away because he is going to have a movie “I Miss You” in which he costars with Ja—Natthaveranuch Thongmee and Saiparn—Apinya Skulchareonsuk.
“I am filming the movie and I think it will be in the theater by the middle of the year so the fans could watch. As for the TV series, I will have to wait till I am done with the movies. Besides the movies, the fans can still meet me on the Navigator program for now on the TV screen on March 7”, said Tik at the end.

I loved Tik as Tan Chai Puth in the 2000 version of Prissana and was joking about the possibility of him playing the role again. However, upon hearing news that it might be true, I have to say that I'm not really gung-ho about it.
In remaking a classic, particularly one like Prissana, I think the production should be something different to other versions. In having Tik as p'ek, it would be hard NOT to compare the two versions. Also, it won't be fair to Yaya and the other cast members who will be under more pressure to do as well as Taya and the others.

Tik seem glad to work with Yaya, but he likely said that about other actress as well. I bet he really doesn't mind playing it again especially if his nang'ek is Yaya. At this point I been overwhelmed of who will fit the pra'ek role and of course Tik is still handsome and suitable but this is a remake. If he play in Tan Chai again he will start a new trend in Thai lakorn where you can play the same role twice. Lol. I want to see Tik and Yaya together, maybe in a different role though. Well I just want Yaya confirmed already, and worry about pra'ek later.

Honestly, I would not mind seeing him in this remake with Yaya, somehow, as a older man , his role as the prince could come out differently , and be more accurate...
As for the comparing of the 2 versions, it seems that it already started with the news that Yaya will take on the role , so a bit more or a bit less that won't make much difference really.
