Chapter 27
It was around 8:00 in the morning when it came to Rita's sleepy mind that she needed to use the bathroom. While she was trying to stand up, she suddenly heard a weird sound. It sounded like a snore! Slowly, she turned her back and saw the devil sleeping on the couch!
"What is he doing here?!" Rita whispered angrily to herself. Before killing Rome with her bare hands, she went to the bathroom first and answered nature's call. Rome was suddenly awakened when the room flung open. It was Aum and Aff… again.
"Hey, good morning, you two…" Rome said sleepily as he was rubbing his eye with his finger. Aff rolled her eyes heavenward and sighed. It was way too early for her to start her clinic hours but Aff couldn't sleep anymore so she decided to visit Rita instead.
"Good morning, Daddy-to-be!" Aum replied and smiled at his friend. Rome chuckled and sat up so Aum could sit beside him. Last night, Aff was so mad at Rome for leaving her best friend alone. But now, her anger had subsided a bit. Aff was contented with the fact that Rome stayed with Rita when they left last night.
"Rome, where's Rita?" Aff asked when she noticed that the bed was empty. Rome looked at her. He too had no idea where Rita went. Before they started to panic, the bathroom door slowly opened.
"I'm here…" Rita said; her voice was still sleepy. The three of them all turned their heads towards her. Rome immediately stood up to help Rita back in bed but when he was about to hold her hand, Rita gave him an evil stare.
"I can walk myself, Rome." Rita said as she made her way back in bed.
"Oh… Yes… Right…" Rome nodded and sat on the couch with Aum again.
"How are you feeling, Rita? No morning sickness?" Aff asked her.
"I was feeling well a while ago but…"
"But what?" Rome asked immediately. He was indeed worried about his…friend's condition. At this very moment, Rome wasn't sure about his relationship status with Rita. They were not exclusively dating each other or anything, but are they lovers now since they're going to have a baby soon?
"But… but…" Rita was looking at Rome who was also looking directly at her. Her heartbeat started to gain a faster pace as Rome looks at her. Even with disheveled hair and simple clothes, he could still make Rita's heart skip a beat! He was indeed a sexy devil; her sexy devil. Rita wasn't feeling well right now because of him.
There conversation was suddenly interrupted when a soft knock on the door was heard. Aum opened the door to check who it was.
"Good morning, Dr. Atichart." A young nurse said and gave the doctor a flirtatious smile.
"Good morning, Pinky." Aum replied and smiled at the nurse as well. Aff saw how the nurse was smiling at her man. The way the nurse looks at Aum, it seems like she's planning to have her husband for breakfast! Nurse Pinky gave Rita the vitamins that she needed and told her that Dr. Sarawut would check on her later.
"I'll see you at the clinic later, Dr. Atichart…" The young nurse said, almost seductively, and then left the room. Aum smiled as the nurse left. Aff's jaw instantly dropped when she heard what the nurse had just said.
"Oh no… I think someone else's blood is boiling right now…" Rita whispered to Rome who was now sitting beside her on bed. She didn't even noticed how close they are right now.
"I think so too…" Rome whispered back and laughed quietly. Aum didn't even notice how his wife reacted. Before Aum could sit again on the couch, Aff immediately walked as fast as she can and stormed out of the room. Aum was confused; he didn't know why Aff was acting that way.
"What's wrong with her?" Aum asked his friends but both of them shrugged.

At 9:00 am, Ann was still fast asleep. Macau is very famous for its casinos so the moment they had arrived, Ken had insisted to go the casino. It was already dawn when both of them finally returned to their hotel suite. Both of them were so worn out so they didn't pay attention to anything else except for the soft, comfy bed that was waiting for them.
Ann moved around the bed lazily, not knowing that her face was so close to Ken's now. Oddly, her hands started to roam around as if she was looking for something. Under the sheets, Ann had touched something weird. It was long and….
