yeah, his skin tone is of the things that make Weir, well, Weir! anyways, I have no problem at all with skin tones coz that does not define your acting skills or even personality. I watched different entertainments from different parts of the world. Out of so many movies I watched, Tamil movies are some of my favourites. the lead male sometimes have dark skin but that was never the issue. as long as they well and the storyline is to my liking, I'm all up for it!
I second you! Beauty is subject. It lies in the eyes of the beholder. For some, fair means beautiful, for some tanned skin means beautiful, or even dark skin for that matter. I'm a tanned-skin person myself. In fact, many Malaysians are. Maybe is the genes, or maybe the weather. I believe in quality work, in this case the quality work of the actors/actressess. you act well, I will watch. doesn't really matter whether you black, white, blue, yellow or any other colorsTassa, I think it is "My Daddy is a Superstar" or something like that. I could be wrong.
As far as Kantana goes, I think this is the first one from the production team I've liked and enjoyed since a long time.
Also, about the whole skin thing, there is beauty all around, what I meant by my comment is just let yourself be, you know? Embrace the way you look. Everyone has their opinion to what beauty is, so I didn't mean to offend anyone.
