You’re right. It is sooooo time consuming to do word for word and to translate exactly by the book. I’m really thinking to do that for chapter 1 only now cuz that’s where everyone is being introduced to the audience. After that I’ll just summarize chapter 2, and going forward.

But I was so focused, I read ahead to chap2 lol and did word for word translation LOL

But for sure, chap3 is gonna be a just summary. Haha :)

Honestly it could be hard, like gibberish letters at first. But it helps to actually understand the language first by listening and then you can start learning to read later. That’s how I learn.

Reading (as a second language) is not as important as speaking and understanding in my opinion. If you can understand them on TV, it is so much easier to read later on. :D

I did take 2 semesters and a summer of Thai in college so that really helped! I had the best time chatting and conversing with my Thai teacher and Thai peers! I swear they all said I sounded like a native Thai speaker! LOL! I was so flattered!!!! Hahahah :p

Keep in mind, learning is always a work in progress. Try a little every day, you may be able to over come it! I have been using Thai for 4-6 years so it’s def helped! :)

wow you are really talented. I have been watching lakorns for years. Gradually I know some words' pronounciation in Thai. But it's still entry-level.

I wish there was a place nearby me that offers a Thai language course. But it is going to be quite a challenge. I have been doing speech therapy just about 2 months ago because I noticed I have been slurring and butchering my English pronunciation. I have been told that it must have been due to my hearing loss about 12 years ago. I didnt socialize for a good 3 years even with families and relatives. Even when I started being more social I didnt hold much conversation. I hate having to ask people to repeat themselves over and over again and for them to speak louder.

I have spent years watching lakorn too but it is on and off again. It's hard for me to catch the tone.

Yes. I watched Nakara again bc it is the only lakorn Mark and Mew play together. I finally discovered that Mark is so handsome. I cant take my eyes off him:cheer::love::naughty2:. He is just perfect He is lovely, sweet and manly at the same time. Mew has always been my best loved Thai actress. I'm so happy to see they have a new lakorn together. Ann, you are so great for picking them. willing|:thumbup::thumbup:
