ah...once again...I am giddy after watching ep 9...such cute squirming scenes...LOVE it! and now on to my comments...
the people who shined the most in this episode was actually the servants. first the older servant for interrupting Monthai and Bie's moment in the kitchen..."I'm not looking"...w/ her eyes peaking through her fingers...too funny...and then "you're gonna be married...of course it's ok to do what you're doing"...even more hilarious...I just couldn't stop smiling at her.
then the head servant lady...she catches onto everything fast (love that about her)...trying to help Bie out by smacking Monthai w/ her fan only to have Monthai's mom encourage the PDA...so funny...then warning Monthai..."be careful, you may just fall for her"...that's what we're waiting for...and the way she smacked Monthai on the shoulder when he took a nice long appreciative look at a dolled up Bie..."aren't you gonna go"...totally catches Monthai off gurad...you can tell he's working hard to recover and cover up his reaction...hilarious...
I love the expressions on Pong's face...annoyance and yet there's amusement...and then the look of surprise and appreciation when he sees a pretty Bie..I love how his face just almost hints of a smile...enough to convince us Monthai does like Bie...but is in denial...ah Pong...your priceless expressions.
I also love Bie's character, she actually fights back...I mean as much as she can for the time period...she defends her self, "I would never try to come between you and Wi"...and the best part, girl even managed to push Monthai to the floor...dang...but wouldn't you know it...Monthai does the "Romeo Must Die" thing and pick himself up, dust himself off, and tries again...again, LOVE it!
but this episode was sad too...like when Bie looks at the height mark and wonders outloud how could Monthai become so mean...then, the look on her face when Monthai declares that Wi is the one in his heart...and the tears that fall when Monthai steals a kiss out of spite...girl is hurting...she's been hit twice as hard...not only does Monthai love Wi, he hates her...I feel your pain.
and lastly...I love how this epi is the start of the unraveling of things...Monthai' mom, forgets she's supposed to be crazy, sounds surprisingly lucid in her conversation w/ the head servant lady at the end of ep 9...she has to cover that up...then Monthai himself, trying hard to cover up the fact that he notices that Bie is pretty...and the DUN, DUN, DUN moment when Bie picks the sky blue yarn (credit this translation to KhoOnxNouxWanxJai) "the color you like"...and a stunned Monthai demands to know who told her...ah...glad ep 10 is tomorrow.
wow, I went on pretty long...guess b/c this episode was so awesome...better than my usual fix...ok, ok, I better shut up now...UNTIL TOMORROW!
